Let the fun begin! What, did you think the campus was meant for study? In Two Point Campus there is very little difference and the joyful tone will make you happier and happier as you spend hours between gourmet cuisine competitions and a doomed magic university that looks suspiciously like Hogwarts.

Hollow Knight: Silksong elevates the Metroidvania experience with a vast and intricate world, filled with unique biomes, hidden secrets, and clever backtracking that turns every step into discovery. Hornet, agile and versatile, tackles her ascent to Pharloom with dashes, diagonal pogos, and abilities that make for fluid and creative platforming. Exploration intertwines with intense combat against over 200 enemies and 40 bosses, each with deadly patterns that require study and precision due to their high difficulty. With hand-drawn environments that resemble living paintings and Christopher Larkin's soundtrack, capable of shifting from melancholic whisper to orchestral explosion, Silksong transforms every screen into a visual and aural spectacle of rare intensity.

The last chapter of one of our favourite series improved over the previous chapters in every, possible way. The storyline is unique and much more consistent, and the production values (art direction, soundtrack, dubbing, graphics) are simply top-notch. The fact that the dungeons aren't randomly generated anymore is just the cherry on top.

Monster Hunter Rise marks the beginning of a new era for the series' pocket adventures, finally free from the antiquated mechanics that the previous chapter, Generations Ultimate, brought with it.

Despite its being a little bit easier than the "regular" XCOM 2 and some AI issues, War of the Chosen is one of the best DLC out there: big, with a lot of stuffs and enjoyable from the beginning to the end. If you love the genre, you should not miss it for any reason.

Football Manager 2020 is another confirmation of Sports Interactive’s ability in crafting a great title every year. No revolution is to be expected, but many smaller improvements bring the game ever closer to technical perfection. FM 2021 is clean and optimized, probably also thanks to the fact that the game will also release on Xbox One and Series X|S.

A challenging, graphically flawless game that seems like a miracle. Three years of hard work of a single person that cost only 18 euros. A masterpiece that we hope will serve Mario Malagrino among the next big names of Industry.

Mimimi Games did it again. Desperados III is a love letter to a genre of a long forgotten past, beautifully crafted in every single detail. John Cooper and his friends are finally back in action, and let’s hope they are here to stay for a long time.

Dragon Quest VIII: Journey of the Cursed King is the epitome of how a remake should be made: it adds new elements and improves the original formula, without compromising the feeling and the fun of the original game.

Devil May Cry V debuts on the new consoles with a definitive Special Edition, which confirms its status as the best stylish action of the last generation. The new modes and the presence of Vergil as a playable character are great additions, while the Ray Tracing does not feel like it adds much, and certainly not enough considering it comes at the cost of a slashed frame rate or resolution.

A superb DLC that remains on the same, excellent level as the Resident Evil 4 remake. In terms of gameplay, Ada's adventure mixes elements that often speed up the pace a bit with others that fit perfectly with the espionage nature of the protagonist. Narratively speaking, Separate Ways expands on the original story and reveals new details that will delight hardcore Resident Evil fans.

Dead Rising was a masterpiece in 2006 and even more so in 2024. Capcom has overhauled the game in every part, bringing it back to life in a double guise, able to please lovers of the edgy, original chapter but also those who want a more current and ‘comfortable’ experience. In both cases, you will be faced with one of the craziest and most entertaining trash-horror games ever.

Sonic Mania is not a perfect game, and the Sonic playstyle is not definitely for everyone. If you love the blue hedgehog, though, you cannot let this one go: it's huge, challenging, full of secrets, with lots and lots of different situations. Hands down, one of the best platformers of the past ten years.

It makes no sense to focus on minor flaws: Borderlands 3 is a great game, with charisma and great replayability, with four characters to look into, lots of sub-quests to deal with and a future DLC that could shine to the full.

An action horror clearly inspired by Dead Space, but also by Alien and Riddick's movies/games. The Callisto Protocol has promised a lot in recent months and after completing it we can say that it has kept almost all its words. Get ready for a thrilling experience from which it will be very difficult for you to tear yourself away.

Crash 4 is an excellent purchase for all those PC players who really want to put themselves to the test with a tough-as-nails platformer. Toys for Bob proved once again to be a solid fit for the franchise, expertly following in the tracks of Naughty Dog while adding their own to the mix. Definitely give it a chance, and don’t be discouraged by its difficulty – we’ve all been through it.

We need to go back to 1986 to find a game so deep, so challenging and beautiful: come to think of it, it’s a paradox. Everything works perfectly in Thimbleweed Park, like a pendulum clock in the hall of a mysterious mansion. One of the finest adventures you’ll play this year, and probably one of the best ever made.

A solid "more of the same" that will delight fans of the previous Splatoon. It is thanks to Nintendo for having made an effort (with good results) to stick a fun and quite varied single player experience to a purely multiplayer-oriented franchise. Splatoon 3 is another example of the Nintendo Difference, perhaps not the most original but certainly one of the most fun.

The DOOM guy is back, and he’s pissed. Brutal, uber-violent and adrenaline-pumping, the reboot of one of the most iconic games of the ‘90s is a truly excellent game. The gameplay blends “old-school” and “new-school” mechanics in such a way that it actually paves a new road for the entire FPS genre. The built-in editor SnapMap is the cherry on top, something that will allow gamers to keep playing DOOM in the upcoming months. Unfortunately, the multiplayer is not that inspired, and probably the weakest part of the package.

NEO: The World Ends With You is the worthy sequel to one of the most unique JRPGs created by Square Enix, and takes the strengths of its predecessor reformulating them as needed. The result is a unique game in style, mechanics and setting intended to keep completists busy for over fifty hours within a story full of twists and turns.

There’s no doubt Arboria is an interesting rogue lite, but perhaps it was been published at the wrong time, in a market really overcrowded by games of the same type. The game offers captivating graphics, the original setting and the robust combat system, as well as the interesting character skill tree have but also lacks variety, which combined with the absence of side quests tends to make every run look the same. I still enjoyed, although the long waiting times between one run and the next are a poor fit for the genre.
