Halo Infinite succeeds in bringing the series back to its roots without forgetting to make several changes useful to renovate its formula. The single player campaign is exciting and diverse thanks to its compact and never dispersive open world structure, while its multiplayer takes everything that’s good about Halo to deliver an engaging, modern and fun experience. Unfortunately, it’s not free of issues which, however, only concern the outline of the experience, such as the playlists structure and the progression system. Luckily, those issues were already recognized by the developers and are in the process of being addressed.

An engaging story and a disturbing atmosphere are the best features in this game that recalls the gameplay style of classics 90s survival horror. A repetitive combat and bland stealth elements drop its overall value.

Despite a repetitiveness that, sooner or later, tends to appear, Patch Quest knows perfectly how to exploit its many ideas and combinations to lasso those who love to experiment and explore and, once the flame of curiosity has been fueled, drag him into a gameplay loop from which can be difficult to get out of.

Tyranny is an old-school RPG that inverts the roles and lets us play as a bad guy. Despite some small problems in the party management, the game is fun and features a great story.

Skul: The Hero Slayer has a roguelike concept but it almost feels like a beat 'em up given the amount of enemies we’ll have to face and the amount of characters available, each one with its own personality and moveset. The huge amount of available builds makes each run a unique experience. Fast and fun, with pretty charismatic enemies, colorful and fairly challenging. Absolutely recommended if you love action games with an RPG flavour, and also suitable for hardcore gamers aiming to beat it in as few runs as possible.

After a few seasons focusing on other aspects of the game, Football Manager 2017 adds a new layer of depth to the match day and its AI. And it’s brilliant.

EA has been keeping us on a shoestring for too long now, so it's a good thing that someone fills this huge gap that has been plaguing our lives for years now. Tempest Rising takes all the elements that work in Command & Conquer and offers them to us on the 2025 hardware, without trying to invent anything special. Amnesia: Rebirth is a survival horror where the "survival" component is guaranteed, as there isn't any event that can lead to the death of the protagonist, steering the experience towards the "horror" component and making the most of the fear of the dark and a particularly distressing story made unpredictable by various plot twists. Three different endings and the ability to scare without splatter effects, but relying on the feeling of vulnerability, make this game a must play even for those used to more frenetic gameplay.

Trine returns as bright as it once was, with its puzzles, platforms, enemies, and heroes ready to do anything to bring home the lost Prince. Despite some problems, this fourth chapter manages to deliver a good experience in co-op without too much difficulty, or a more interesting challenge for solitary players.

Reanimal is a compact yet intense cooperative horror adventure, built around the bond between two brothers and a journey through disturbing islands and unspeakable horrors. Tarsier Studios evolves the formula that made it famous with a more realistic three-dimensional world and a direction designed for shared fear. The atmosphere is the real strength, supported by powerful imagery and a minimal yet effective narrative. The puzzles won't fully satisfy those seeking a real challenge, and perhaps the mechanics could have been more daring, but the experience remains emotionally impactful, refined, and engaging from start to finish.

A new chapter in the long-lasting Nihon Falcom series, that delivers exactly what you expect: classic JRPG experience with outdated tech and gameplay that is still fresh and entertaining.
