RiME doesn't do anything new, but it does it in a truly unique, heartfelt way. Tequila Works created a wonderful adventure, with a strong Mediterranean feeling, some nice puzzles and a really moving finale.

Vicarious Visions did a great job in preserving the original vibe of the Bandicoot saga while giving a brand new contemporary look to the games. Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy is a great journey through the PSX age without the aging effect, and it's a solid comeback for Crash. The three platform games are still fun today, and Warped is as amazing as it was almost 20 years ago. Maybe the design of the first, iconic, chapter is a little bit old-fashioned, but overall the collection has a great value both for nostalgic players and newcomers.

I am pissed at ATOM RPG Trudograd, as it is made with love and competence in every feature, but it neglects and trivializes the fighting too much, which instead should be a big part of Fallout's legacy. The result is still a great game with excellent writing and dozens of side quests, but when a shootout feels like a bothersome interruption, something is amiss.

Saturnalia is an atypical horror game, but engaging and extremely funny. Solid gameplay is accompanied by a great art direction.

Slayers X is an FPS old school that engages and entertains from start to finish. His story, as simple as it is effective, offers a very detailed context. Furthermore, the gunplay, the approach and the various methods for dealing with enemies are the real spearhead of the work. Must have absolutely.

Green Quest VR is an intelligent conversion, which trades some of the complexity of the original title in exchange for a priceless feeling of immersion. Net of the predictable concessions in terms of graphics, the result is excellent and satisfying, tailor-made around a VR experience that requires a much greater effort from the player than what is experienced on PC. The original is superior overall, but from a virtual reality perspective, Green Hell VR presents itself as an excellent declination of a highly appreciated game.

The restoration work of the first chapter convinces thanks to some tweaks that involve many aspects of the original game. Nowadays you can find VR titles that are technically more refined or evolved, the base is still from 2016, however Arizona Sunshine Remake with its DLC included in the price is a great gift for those who are approaching the fun franchise of Vertigo Games today.

NEO: The World Ends With You is the worthy sequel to one of the most unique JRPGs created by Square Enix, and takes the strengths of its predecessor reformulating them as needed. The result is a unique game in style, mechanics and setting intended to keep completists busy for over fifty hours within a story full of twists and turns.

Persona 4 Arena Ultimax is a somewhat lazy adaptation, but luckily the original was already a great game. That's why this re-release is highly recommended for fighting game fanatics who missed it in 2013, but veterans should know that they won't find enough new content to justify a new purchase, at least until Rollback is implemented.

The Rogue Prince of Persia presents itself as a solid and engaging roguelite action platformer. While strongly reminiscent of Dead Cells, it manages to carve out its own identity thanks to the protagonist's agility and fluid, rewarding gameplay. The variety of equipment, meta-progression, and procedural level structure offer a good amount of depth, although the moderate difficulty and limited content may disappoint more demanding players.

I don’t know whether to recommend Ruined King: A League of Legends Story for the interesting story set in the League of Legends universe or because it's one of the best turn-based RPGs I played since quite a while. I’d stick towards the second reason, leaving the first one as the icing on the cake. An engaging storyline, beautifully characterized and customizable characters, and a combat system that will test your tactical skills await you, especially if you dare to play at higher difficulty levels. Will Runeterra’s champions become the new Avengers?

Fall Guys: Ultimate Knockout is extremely entertaining, and it’s really hard not to fall in love with it. Bringing some friends is recommended, as it can lead to hilarious outcomes – and it helps during team games, too. With updates, it could easily go from a summer fad to a real mass phenomenon.

If you love the open world action genre, the new year started great: Gravity Rush 2 improves upon the original title in every single, possible way, offering a deep, challenging and addictive gameplay. Warning: considering the peculiar nature of this game, the vote must be read upside down.

Broken Arrow is a solid RTS that can provide good fun to anyone who’s willing to spend a bit of time studying its systems, but the lack of campaign saves and an occasionally unclear UI are definitely areas where there should be improvements.

Under the disguise of a traditional point and click adventure, The Red Strings Club shows us once again the ability of Decostructeam to use videogames to explore the human soul. The story is a pretty standard cyberpunk tale, but the "alcohol system" during conversations at the bar is amazing, and the moral choices are intriguing and demanding.

Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves is not only a successful return: it is a love letter to long-time fans and, at the same time, a great entry point for newcomers. Thanks to a deep but accessible gameplay, an inspired artistic direction and an avalanche of content for all modes, SNK signs one of its most convincing works of the modern era. The resistance of the online sector and the weight of certain unpopular choices in the initial roster still need to be verified, but the heart is there, and it beats strong. South Town is alive again.

Koira is a narrative adventure without text or dialogue, delicately depicting the bond between a mysterious being and a lost puppy in an enchanted forest. Through a language composed of gestures, sounds and images, the game offers an emotional and immersive experience, characterized by accessible environmental puzzles and a minimalist but highly evocative visual style. An interactive fairy tale in which the light of friendship guides the way through the darkness. Aside from its enchanting atmosphere, however, the short overall duration and low level of challenge may not satisfy players looking for a more challenging experience.

Persona 3 Reload is a necessary return, a bridge between past and present that confirms the strength and sensitivity of a saga capable of reinventing itself without betraying itself. Atlus demonstrates its ability to respectfully restore, giving the game a modern look and splendid art direction, even if it fails to completely smooth out the wrinkles of a dated design. The experience remains intense, emotional, and deeply human, with a refined combat system and a narrative that continues to shine. The Switch 2 version, unfortunately, shows some technical limitations that partially dampen its magic, but not enough to obscure the greatness of the work. An essential journey for fans, and an excellent entry point for those who have never experienced the Dark Hour.

In a crowded roguelike landscape, Dreamscaper tries to stand out by adding a narrative, advendure-like mini section, which is so well-crafted and interesting that it almost overshadows the action segments. The game offers good graphics and a cool soundtrack, but also repetitive puzzles and unconvincing enemy design. Luckily, the combat system is excellent, which makes a great pick for any action roguelike fan.

Knockout City, as it stands today, is a very entertaining online multiplayer game, easy to learn but not without its own complexities. Future growth is always fickle and hard to predict when it comes to online games, but Knockout City might be able to carve out its own niche.

Blood West is an FPS with a strong stealth component and a soulslike difficulty that will see you try over and over various ways to wipe out enemies. The penalties assigned whenever you die in the long run can make your character almost unplayable, but once you tame the insane difficulty curve, the various possible builds are very different from each other and you will definitely have fun experimenting. The sound is excellent and the lowpoly graphics are good, although it would have been nice to make the maps a little richer. Some will find it very punishing, and the absence of difficulty levels does not run to its aid, but the Wild West is a ruthless world.

INDIKA’s gameplay is at the service of its narrative, so as to tell an allegorical and satirical story about religious institutions and the power they have over people. It is a story that deals with existential themes in an often surreal way, taking advantage of a staging that thrives on contrasts and dissonances, managing to convey a message while always keeping the balance between the serious and the irreverent (and at times even blasphemous) irony.
