Deadly Premonition 2 is not Swery's gaming maturity, but it is perhaps his consecration as a screenwriter, storyteller of the bizarre, creator of unforgettable characters. His ambition, however, clashes with the limited budget and, probably, with Toybox's modest ability to create gameplay. But these are works that must be left to rest, metabolized and then perhaps rediscovered, like a nice b-movie, ready to become one of our favorites when the time is right.

The one thing we can honestly say about Sniper Ghost Warrior 3 is that is a missed opportunity. And it's a shame, because the huge amount of bugs and the insane checkpoint system ruin an otherwise good tactical shooter. Hopefully, CI Games will fix most of its problems in the near future.

Sker Ritual is a classic horror cooperative shooter (also playable in single player) in which you'll find elements already seen in similar games, from Call of Duty's Zombie mode to Left 4 Dead and Killing Floor. Technical issued highlighted the need for updates to make the gaming experience smoother and more satisfying. We also hope that the developers will get busy releasing new content in the near future because the four maps now available quickly tend towards repetitiveness.

Let's be brutally honest: this new edition of Titan Quest is simply terrible. Technically it's a disaster, with a constant flow of bugs and glitches that seriously undermine the game experience (there are still references to the keyboards commands). Crackdown 3 comes directly from the past, from an era in which the open-world action games focused mainly on the number of things to do, to the detriment of the overall quality and variety of situations. This does not mean that the formula proposed by Sumo Digital doesn’t work: far from it. But it’s linked to a now anachronistic concept of a genre that has evolved over the last couple of years into something that goes beyond the simple repetition of the same tasks throughout the duration of the campaign.

More than twenty years after Defiance, Legacy of Kain: Ascendance proves to be a bitter disappointment. Instead of honoring the saga’s complex narrative background, Bit Bot Media’s title offers a clumsy retcon that resembles terrible fan fiction.
