While not absolutely one of the best exponents of the genre, Lunar: The Silver Star is reincarnated on iOS with a new title that allows us to discover a hidden little gem in the landscape of the 90's JRPGs.

Dune: Awakening is an ambitious MMO Survival Sandbox, capable of delivering the rich atmosphere of the world created by Frank Herbert. The survival mechanics, such as water management and craftin, are detailed and well-developed, while the skill progression system offers deep and engaging customization. The game introduces some unique features, like an original server structure and a competitive endgame set in the Deep Desert. However, it still has a few shortcomings: the enemy variety is limited, some quests can feel repetitive, and the endgame content may not appeal to everyone. Despite these aspects, Dune: Awakening has all the potential to grow over time, especially with Funcom’s continued support. In short, it’s a must-play title for fans of the genre.

Observer is a brilliant commingling of cyberpunk and horror. It demonstrates how interesting the game concept is and how much Bloober Team has grown.

It's a good chance to spend some 4/5 hours with Jensen and all the cyberpunk atmosphere the fan love, yet the price is way over the top.

If you have already played the sacred monsters of the genre previously released and you are , like us, great admirers of the splendid artistic direction of Kaminari and company, here you will still find bread for your teeth for at least fifteen hours.

The Classics HD Collection can now proudly offer another important piece of videogaming history. Annyversary alone could be already worth the price, for its over the top level design, and the other titles make the offer even more interesting. Perfect for everyone who has missed the last chapters.

Metroid Prime 4: Beyond delivers exactly what it needed to: a strong and worthy sequel to a trilogy that ended eighteen years ago. Its gameplay innovations and dungeon-level design shine, but the open-map sections and some late-game pacing issues hold it back. Retro Studios’ attempt to go beyond a ‘safe’ sequel leads to a game that’s excellent, yet unlikely to astonish modern players the way the original did in 2002.

Xillia may have the best combat system ever seen in a jrpg, and definitely a great story to boot. Unfortunately a classic structure that favors grinding and repetition stops it from being the best entry in the series.

Like a Dragon Gaiden: The man who erased his name was originally born as a DLC for the eighth chapter in the mainline saga, and it shows in its shorter length and in the reuse of assets, locations and character models. Still, exploring Sotenbori in the shoes of Kazuma Kiryu is a lot of fun like it's always been up to now.

In Other Waters is a pretty unique experience, characterized by an amazingly crafted art direction, but plagued by some flaws in the gameplay flow. We recommend playing it on your TV, because in handheld mode the UI and the text size can become pretty painful.

Lego Star Wars: The Force Awakens is a new chapter of the series, full of new mechanics and with a story written in an absolutely hilarious way. The game is technically quite perfect and the soundtrack is entirely from the well-known masterpiece of John Williams.

A beautiful first try, that deserves to be played. It ain’t perfect, due to some design problems in the second half of the game, but it’s also a splendid title, whose locations and protagonist will stay in your heart for a while.

It’s certainly not fair to say that Lost in Random: The Eternal Die is a bad project—far from it—but there’s a clear and undeniable sense that it’s a far less daring effort than expected. That said, it remains a solid roguelite that, with a fair amount of cleverness, manages to attract genre fans thanks to a wide range of ability combinations and an element of unpredictability that enhances its overall replay value. Still, when considering the full narrative and artistic potential of the world of Alea—with its biting critiques and grotesque tales—it’s hard not to feel a tinge of regret.

Days Gone Remastered doesn’t just refine an already solid game - it enriches it with new content and technical enhancements that elevate the entire experience. With the original’s technical issues smoothed out, more varied and polished gameplay, tougher game modes, and advanced accessibility options, this version is a must-play for longtime fans and anyone looking for one of the most immersive and dynamic open-world adventures available on PS5. Yet, the lingering sting of an unresolved ending — and the knowledge that the long-hoped-for sequel will likely never happen — leaves a bittersweet aftertaste on what could have become another flagship PlayStation saga.
