Iron Meat is a game that draws inspiration from the great classics of the run-and-gun genre, offering a version as faithful as possible to its predecessors. However, it adds modern touches to make it more accessible to today’s players. Fast-paced, brutal, and featuring well-crafted pixel art, this title is sure to please fans of the genre. The only major drawback is the lack of content to keep players engaged once the main campaign is over, as there are no extras included.

Despite the new (and better) A.I., a good level design and customization possibilities, Army of Two: The 40th Day falls short on some of its expectations. The moral system isn't well implemented, controls feel often clumsy and graphics are not up to the standard. It's still a game to consider if you like action games and cooperative, but not a must have. It's a shame, especially considering the fact that some more care for details could've made it a very good game.

Planet Coaster 2 offers potentially endless gameplay. Frontier’s title is more than just a management simulator; it’s a dynamic, living diorama where players can invest countless hours purely to satisfy their aesthetic vision and showcase their creations to the community. For the detail-oriented, scrutinizing every corner of the game may reveal a few notable gaps, but fortunately, the development team is already aware of these and plans to address them in the near future.

Mixing a strong horror atmosphere and a solid “slo-mo” gameplay, F.E.A.R. 2 Project Origin shines for the extension of the new levels. Its linearity isn’t necessarily a drawback (at least not for “old style” FPS fans), but it could still spoil the fun for next gen gamers, used to much more “open” games. The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Remastered is undeniably more than just the sum of its parts: in 2025, it brings not only a technical facelift through Unreal Engine 5 and a few small updates to progression, but also the wealth of memories and emotional attachment it earned at its original release—when it became, for many players (especially on consoles), the true gateway into the franchise. The enduring charm of Cyrodiil—magnificent not only as an “open” game but also excelling as a fully realized “world”—is still very much intact. However, it’s accompanied by a technical side that, at least on PC, feels rough and problematic, and an undeniable truth: even seen through the nostalgic lens of love we all share, Oblivion bears the weight of its many years, evident in its rough edges, imperfect balancing, and the sparse density of its world. What we are left with, then, is a project that pays heartfelt tribute to the Elder Scrolls game that was many players’ first love, but that—despite the new polish—struggles to fully transport it into 2025. Instead, it mostly transports us back to 2006, with all the beauty and discordance that entails.

Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 may not represent the pinnacle of the series or the start of a new era, but it firmly halts the franchise's steady decline, delivering a quality entry—arguably the best in the past decade. The campaign is surprisingly engaging and varied, though not quite on par with the series' top classics, and the same holds true for the zombie mode. With more focus on innovation and map quality in multiplayer, the game could have reached even higher scores, but there's room for improvement with post-launch updates. SNK returns with a fighting game that stays true to its classic roots, while also attempting to take a step toward the more modern direction seen in recent titles of the genre. The combat system is undoubtedly the game’s strongest feature—tactical, satisfying to master, and visually impressive once you get the hang of it. However, the steep learning curve and the complexity of its various mechanics make it less accessible for newcomers. The available modes are mostly traditional, with the addition of a more elaborate one clearly inspired by Street Fighter 6’s World Tour mode. Unfortunately, due to budget limitations, it ends up being a stripped-down version rather than a true rival.
