But we must evaluate the product for what it is at present, and now Destiny is a repetitive game, with a disappointing PvP, and able to entertain only thanks to the ascertained efficacy of the shooting and RPG elements that compose it.

Original Blood Bowl fans will certainly like this new version of their favourite fantasy-sport. Cyanide did a great job when it comes to graphics and details, and the tactical gameplay is still very good. The only problem? A lot of cut content, with many missing teams (and 2 available by pre-ordering...). We are expecting a lot of DLC in the future.

Instant, perfect for mobile and sizzling. But Super Mario Run is also very short and the kingdom mode has little depth: the challenges, however, regain longevity.

Ghost Trick is both another brilliant little game from another era and another lazy remaster that doesn't add anything really new to it. It is still recommended to anyone who never played the original, yet it's a bit on the pricey and the short side.

We liked this game on PS4, and it’s still good fun on PC, where it’s even better due to a pair of new content expansions and some graphical tweaks. Basically, it’s still a fun experience with friends, with a lot of content and some good ideas, but it’s still pretty weak when played solo and has quite the repetitive structure. If you like top down shooter give it a chance.

Quite a step in the right direction if you compare it to its predecessors. Greg Rucka’s arrival was definitely great for the whole series, and everything got better, from dialogue to game mechanics. Definitely a good introduction to the final act. If you want to get the whole package, though, keep in mind that chapters one and two are highly inferior.

Magicka Wizard Wars is a free to play title that manages to amuse and entertain. It is not easy to be able to use all the spells right now, and this could be an obstacle for the more casual players, sunken among other things by an unstructured matchmaking.

Dustborn is an adventure game that offers a mix of genres, catering to a wide range of tastes. It seamlessly transitions from exploration phases in the style of classic graphic adventures with environmental puzzles, to more action-packed moments, and even includes many musical mini-games. The game features a cast of finely crafted characters that are impossible not to grow attached to. At the same time, it presents a wide variety of uniquely beautiful settings, all enhanced by the splendid comic book art style that defines the entire adventure.

Suikoden I - II HD Remaster is a good enough compilation to discover (or re-discover) two of the most influential JRPG of all time, both treated with respect and both still very enjoyable today. The budget Konami allocated for this project was probably minimal, but the effort put in recreating these two classics is commendable nonetheless.

Maybe one of the most complex and deep RTS: learn every single move is a real satisfaction in Tank Warfare: Tunisia 1943, but how many can deal with it?

Sniper Elite 4 is a good TPS, that has the guilty to not improve a lot from the previous chapter: sniping is good but the mechanics are always the same; on the other hand, the map and the exploration are quite good.

Rune Factory 4 takes a second chance with this Special edition, and while this is definitely the best version of the game, it's hard to recommend it to anyone who's already played the original.

Watch Dogs 2 tells the story of Marcus Holloway in a completely different way than the first chapter. There are some interesting additions that will be digested only if they're close to your personal taste. This is a fun title that can entertain you for a few dozen hours without difficulty, but it isn't able to emotionally get you in the beautiful but hardly-dynamic San Francisco.

Dead Rising 4 provides a very entertaining experience and the gameplay is still simple and solid. Unfortunately the Capcom title has the same “old” side missions and the usual AI issues. Even with its problems, the game is a ton of fun to play.

Offering exactly the same contents of the PS4 version, Hellblade Senua's Sacrifice on Xbox comes as a no brainer for the ones who love narrative and mature themes in a videogame, but may not be so palatable for the ones who primarily ask interactivity to a game.

Skylanders Battlecast can grant many hours of entertainment to kids and their parents. The gameplay is more simple and accessible than the one of other games already known in the genre. Sometimes the randomness of the core of the mechanics influences the matches too much.

It's a failry good DLC, yet here and there you can see it's been packed up to quickly, lacking the polish of the main campaign.

Call of Duty Warfare Infinite comes to the market with a lot of content, but little that is truly innovative. The campaign goes smoothly and lasts six hours, with no major twists. Specialist, perhaps, is the most interesting element of the mode and seems deliberately hidden and not valued properly. Jackal and Zero-G are interesting, but also have little space in the game. As for the multiplayer, there are new classes and the introduction of the crafting and "Mission Teams", of great interest for a greater involvement in the progression of the character, partially fails to evolve the game mechanics and gunplay. Zombies in Spaceland has no real problems but, apart from the madness of the situation and the many easter eggs, it repeats more or less the same concept of the series. In summary, a solid product that doesn't dare, but perhaps it should. Because the contents are so many and not bad, but the fun is sometimes hard to come by.

Gekido on Nintendo Switch is the same, good, beat 'em up played on GBA in 2002, with better graphics, sound and multiplayer mode. Great job Naps Team, once again.

Floodland is an interesting post-apocalyptic city-building experience, but it lacks depths in some of its core mechanics.

Nano Assault Neo is the hardcore twin stick shooter that fans where expecting thanks to a carefully arranged gameplay and state of the art graphics. Sixteen levels are roughly enough to keep playing for a couple of hours, but chasing your friends high-scores is going to take longer. Shin'En's game is sold at a budget price of 9,99 Euros, making it a must buy for every fan of the genre.

There's a lot of fun to be had here, sadly it's not going to last enough time.

Hell is Us boldly carves out its own path, favoring a slower, more contemplative experience that rewards patience, curiosity, and a taste for the unconventional. It’s not trying to appeal to everyone—and that’s precisely the point. This is a game for those who find meaning in silence, in suggestion, in the space between things. It seeks to provoke rather than guide, to immerse rather than entertain. For some, it will resonate deeply; for others, it may feel distant or impenetrable.

We Love Katamari Reroll+ Royal Reverie is a competent remastered of an all-time classic that is as fun to play today as it was almost twenty years ago.

It's a good first step for MOBA's genre on consoles but it lacks depth during matches.

Milky Way Prince - The Vampire Star is a Graphic novel that tells a story about a morbid story about an ill love and a partner with bipolar disorder.

It does nothing to innovate the series, going back to its roots and eliminating most of the changes made with heroes VI. It's good, with a long campaign and the usual beloved gameplay of old, but it has no courage. None at all.

The Aquatic Adventure of the Last Human is a contemplative metroidvania with good boss fights. It is a captivating adventure that mixes action and exploration through evocative scenarios that tells the story of our future extinction.

Ys: The Oath in Felghana is a good action JRPG. Despite being old it will deliver good fun even to the ones who aren't nostalgics. Great Price.

Illusion: A Tale of the Mind has a touching story to tell, but it's held back by repetitive puzzles.

World End Syndrome is a good mix between an otome visual novel and a mystery one, that relies too much on the idea of turning back time and re-living days. It's by no means perfect, still we had fun uncovering the mystery and the true ending.

Star Ocean is a truly JRPG and a must-buy for all Japanese gamers addicted. Great characters, a lot of side-quests and a crafting system really interesting make this game a winning choice for all jprg's fan.

No Man's Sky is a huge universe created by Hello Games, and gives players the opportunity to explore and live it the way they want. It isn't a game for everyone, maybe only few will enjoy it for what it truly is, and it comes also with some technical issues, due probably to its procedural essence. There is no specific purpose in No Man's Sky, every player will find his own and will simply enjoy the journey, not the destination.

Children of Arkham is rather enjoyable and shines thanks to its refined writing, but the gameplay doesn't dare to get far from Telltale' standards and forgets about some interesting new mechanics we saw in Realm of Shadows.

Gran Turismo 6 is an enjoyable game and a truly interactive car encyclopedia. The number of cars, events and locations is really impressive, but old problems are still there. Ridiculous damage model, weak AI and a tons of low quality cars make the title very far from that level of perfection that Yamauchi promised us in recent years.

Great when played with a group of friends with a bunch of headsets, infernal when tackled randomly online, and only decent when alone, FORCED is an interesting and inspired cooperative experience, that will excite veteran players with its high challenge level.

You can tell it was not necessary, and you'd probably be right, but Brothers remake is a love letter to one of the most heartwarming titles of the last decade, and this version is the one new players should look to if they're willing to give this game a try.

Strange Brigade is Rebellion’s attempt to develop something new, an action third-person shooter that makes playability and fun its principal objectives. Though the game is a fun and light experience, it should be played not too many times in a row because of the confusion that sometimes affects the on-screen action. It’s a game developed with professionalism and a generous amount of inspiration, and it could be a good way to pass these last summer days or to begin with the TPS world.

This is definitely the best version of Yo-Kai Watch 2, and we recommend it to the uninitiated of the franchise, but we wouldn't do the same with people who already finished any of the previous versions.

Rise & Shine's gameplay is fun and challenging, but the game has a really short length as well. Being a cheap indie game, it's definitely worth a try.

Insidia is a pleasant surprise and ideal for every player that wants a challenge, that can manage to stand on its own with constant updates and with the support of the community.

Monster Hunter Generations Ultimate is the game Switch deserves, but not the one it needs right now. A good porting, with good mechanics but poor graphical performances.

Blood Money alone makes the collection worth it, but from a technical standpoint the developers really went for the bare minimum.

Mio: Memories in Orbit is an elegant and rigorous metroidvania that puts all its focus on exploration and precision. Its world is fascinating to traverse, the movement system is solid, and the bosses provide a genuine challenge. The narrative, however, remains in the background, and the combat system lacks meaningful evolution over time, staying consistently minimal. This is a game that asks a lot from the player and doesn’t always return an equally strong emotional engagement, but it still manages to leave a mark thanks to its visual identity and the coherence of its design.

Call of Duty Mobilized is a fairly good porting. Immediate playability is sometimes ruined by awkward controls (especially zooming issues) and the single player experience won't last long. Multiplayer is not bad, but you'll sometimes have a hard time looking for players. Everyone who loves FPS in the palm of a hand should consider this, despite its little flaws.

PES 2012 offers the same product of last year with all the merits and defects. Who loved the previous chapter will love this too, the others can easily look elsewhere.

Star Ocean: The Last Hope represent a big step forward for the series of tri-Ace. The combat system it's fun and challenging as well as the crafting system. Graphically the title looks good, except for the animations and PG characterization that deserved more attention.The story unfortunately isn't so good, stuffed with clichés and a cast rather weak, such that it can not support many hours of gameplay and meet the real experts of J-Rpg.

Colossatron is the latest game developed by Halfbrick. The app is colorful and the gameplay is intuitive and fun. The longevity is not great but the replayability value is very high. Colossatron is engaging and destroying the world has never been so much fun.

Helldivers 2 is a fun multiplayer co-op shooter clearly inspired by Starship Troopers, and that's not too bad. Some server issues (which will be resolved eventually) and good - but not outstanding - graphics make Arrowhead Game Studios' game a certainly well-crafted title, but just nothing more.

Sable is a fascinating and unique journey that lets the player discover the world of Midden and face a poetic but pretty empty open world.

The switch version of South Park: The Fractured But-Whole is a great conversion and it shows once and for all that even Nintendo consoles can have games with adult content.

After hospitals and university campuses, the citizens of Two Point County now have museums where they can admire fossilized floppy disks, demonic mannequins, and the remains of Atlantis. The management sim created by Two Point Studios is far from a revolution and shares many similarities with its predecessors, including its unique sense of humor and numerous gameplay elements. Fortunately, the few new additions are also the most successful aspects—sending explorers to the far corners of the world to retrieve strange artifacts is both fun and rewarding, as is displaying and showcasing all the unearthed relics.

It’s really a beautiful thing that Valiant Hearts: Coming Home exists today. It’s a blessing because is both the sequel-conclusion to one of the most beloved and didactically valuable games ever produced by Ubisoft, and the opening ram for a different way to publish games. However, this must not blind from evident flaws like low duration, low difficulty and some plot issues, such as the excessive dependence to its prequel.

Tomb Raider IV-VI Remastered is a bit like an old vinyl record reissued in digital: the charm remains, but the crackle of time can't be completely erased.

LEGO The Hobbit, not surprisingly, is yet another good game in the series created by TT Games. Once again, and despite the few innovations, the game was able to conquer our hearts in a few minutes, thanks to its rich contents and great lasting appeal.

Wanderstop has two main strengths. As a cozy game, it works very well—the gameplay loop is simple and relaxing, avoiding the usual performance-driven clichés of many modern titles. From a narrative perspective, the story is effective and highlights real-life situations that, unfortunately, most of us can relate to in some way. That said, it falls far short of the high standards set by Wreden and Zimonja’s previous works. Comparing it to The Stanley Parable or Gone Home simply doesn’t hold up. Wanderstop lacks the experimental madness we often hoped to witness, and its storytelling unfolds rather predictably, with plot twists appearing only when strictly necessary.

The absence of the online multiplayer and the need for a Circle Pad Pro represent two big stains on the blanket of this edition of Monster Hunter. Only half a Nintendo fan will rejoice for this.

Graphics and level design are truly poor, especially when compared to the Skate saga, but a good control system somehow makes up for that (until you plug in the balance board...)

We liked Rampage Knights. It amuses the player from the very beginning, it's hard, satisfying, and full of comical relief. Also, in coop it rapidly becomes a drug, and in fact its soul resides in the cooperative element. Play it with some friends and enjoy it fully. The repetitive structure becomes evident only when you go solo.

Far Cry New Dawn has great ideas, tons of activities, but the RPG system doesn't work as expected in the mix and there are too many bugs. Rivals are not as strong as the series deserves, but the story covers what needed to be told.

It's customization, through thousands of equip pieces, the true heart of Torhclight. No coop and basic hack'n'slash combat make the rest just part of the average action RPG. Try before you buy.

The latest game in the long running WWE series finally gave wrestling fans the titanic amount of content they wanted, and even changed some mechanics in a smart way, perfecting the whole combat system. The more realistic pacing, though, is still a bit too slow, and some kid-friendly choices due to the PG era are really out of place, especially when you consider that the Showcase gravitates around Stone Cold Steve Austin. Also, the Divas and their “revolution” have been almost ignored.

If you enjoyed the first chapter and you declared your love to Kat in evening dress, in this sequel you will find a bigger version and full of what you have liked five years ago. If already at the time you have had difficulty with the controls, and you do not like jazz, you can lay your eyes away.

Lego City Undercover is the first true free-roaming videogame developed by TT Fusion, and this is evident from a number of technical issues (going from an unstable frame-rate to tedious aliasing). From a narrative point of view the story is entertaining and filled with references to the popular culture, and speaking of content, the ridiculous amount of extras hidden everywhere in the game world is undeniable. A good first step in the free-roaming genre, hoping that an eventual second episode will fix all the technical problems while innovating the gameplay.

Raiden V is a top old-school shmup, enriched by excellent gameplay features, great calibration and perfect rhythm. In the background of this pleasant scene, a notable work was done with the sound as well. Unfortunately the artistic direction doesn't look wholly brilliant and considerable extras are missing. However Raiden V stands as an absolutely recommended purchase to the vertical scroller shoot 'em' up lovers, very hard to master but as much fulfilling as few other games are.

Star Wars: The Force Unleashed arrived with a one year delay on a PC, but nevertheless does not introduce any major news, except for an additional level and two unedited seen on consoles. The graphics are suffering from a bad optimization and feels the weight of years, although on balance is sufficient and is gifted of a great physics engine for the simulation of the Force. As for the gameplay, despite the repetitiveness is feels, the fun that can give handle a lightsaber and use the Force, balances the all. Moreover, thanks to a good storyline the atmosphere of Saga was returned faithfully. Also remain unchanged all the defects of the control system imprecise and at times frustrating already seen a year ago on the console. Ultimately, despite the myriad of action securities much more attractive and "new" published in recent months, Star Wars: The Force Unleashed is a good title. Recommended to fans of the saga.

It’s a good content package that mantains the structure of the original game and adds motorcycles. Its only real problems are the handling, a bit too similar among the various bikes, and the small number of rides. Also, the community has dampened quite a bit after the initial problems.

Drawn to Death is a fast-paced arena third person shooter from David Jaffe. It has charisma, a great concept and loves to make players remember how '90 shooters were great.

Interesting gameplay mechanics, sadly repeated over and over. Despite that, Lost in Shadow is a fresh and new experience, that every Wii user lloking for soemthing original should at least try.

The first chapter of Avengers Initiative is a good action-beat 'em up in the veins of Infinity Blade, but the Hulk's charisma struggles to emerge.

It's not original, it's obviously a bit rushed, and it's very short, but it's also the best Transfomers game around, far from the confused style of the Michael Bay movies, and finally faithful to the original animated series. The fact that it reuses a lot of mechanics from Platinum Action games, simplifying them, helps a lot when it comes to quality and excitement.

Tunic is fascinating and surprisingly deep.
