Even with its issues, Star Ocean: Till the End of Time is still a great and enjoyable jrpg, and also one of the most revolutionary ones, even by today's standards.

Though the gameplay is far too similar to the original trilogy and the game is once again too easy, Inazuma Eleven Go is another solid JRPG entry in the 3DS library, mostly thanks to the graphical overhaul and the elimination of random encounters.

Captain Toad: Treasure Tracker is a fun and quality game that has managed to entertain us longer than expected. Considering the price of about 20 euros lower than normal titles for Nintendo Wii U and excellent ideas fielded by level designers of this game, it is a title that we recommend.

Alan Wake's American Nightmare is a great arcade title, a spin-off that lets us know Alan Wake a little more despite the presence of a not-very-compelling storyline. Both graphics and sound meet the high expectations, while the presence of a "Horde" mode is useful to spend a few hours of fun even after the conclusion of the main story. A certain repetitiveness, especially after the first two or three hours, causes big damage to the final gaming experience.

Besides the extensive and well orchestrated gameplay, the title retains a high longevity, thanks to the new dynamism of the plot and editor joined to the multiplayer do the rest. It remains a regret for the haste in closing the development, which does not do justice to a game that deserved a better final processing. If you think you can overlook the frustration that will result from the large amount of bugs and you love the genre, Arma II is what you want from a simulation of war: exterminated, deep and dramatic. As for the rest of the users, Bohemia Interactive has made a very specific choice not to simplify the formula for casual gamers and risking to frustrate for everyone. We believe the target was hit, ArmA II is a game for a few, but those few will be more than satisfied.

F1 Manager 2022 is a deep managerial game for F1 lovers, with a lot of details to learn and explore in order to become the best and fastest team.

With its tens of games inside the game and humor, Battletoads is a pleasant surprise, witnessing the sheer amount of Xbox portfolio's diversity. It could be a little deeper here and there, and co-op could be online too, but Dlala's take on the franchise is a fresh and fun, recommendable experience.

All things considered, aside from a few minor technical issues (unexpected but easily fixable) Starfield arrives on PS5 in good shape, with a more streamlined price, several improvements over its original release, and a notable amount of new content. Some of this is tied to the Rotte Libere update, while other additions are linked to the purchase of the two downloadable expansions, neither of which is essential for Bethesda’s spacefaring adventurers.

MotoGP 25 marks its return with an exciting addition to its gameplay modes: the opportunity to ride a variety of bikes beyond the traditional racing machines. The inclusion of minibikes, motards, and flat-track bikes significantly diversifies the experience, making it fresher and undoubtedly more entertaining. We particularly appreciate the introduction of an Arcade riding mode, tailored for players who have limited time or who seek a more accessible and relaxed style of play. Unfortunately, the Pro mode does not feature major innovations on the track, which is a slight disappointment. On the technical side, the graphical improvements are barely noticeable, despite the use of a robust graphics engine. However, it is worth highlighting that cross-play is finally no longer restricted, enhancing the multiplayer experience considerably. Overall, MotoGP 25 remains a pleasant and engaging title, ideal for both solo and multiplayer sessions.

Another brilliant episode of Phoenix Wright, another title that fans shouldn't miss: not much has really changed since Dual Destinies, but the gameplay and the riddles to solve are still entertaining. Let's hope the next episode will shake the formula a little bit more, maintaining this level of quality.

While Gothic sails away to other developers, Piranha Bytes turns the tide with this return to the origins of true RPG. Deep, polished, compelling, Risen is an RPG for RPG true lovers. Some small glitches and a general lack of accessibility make it step down a little bit on the score, but it's still THE game to have if you love RPGs.

Megaton Rainfall is based on a simple yet intriguing concept: making us feel like gods capable of flying at a super-high speed. And it succeeds in doing so. This, along with its refined and fresh gameplay, makes the game easy to recommend to anyone who has a Playstation VR.

You just can't ignore the lack of content at day one and there still are some worrying balance issues.

Remnant 2 is the classic "bigger, bolder, better" sequel, that iterates on the formula of the previous game making it much better in almost every way. It's a very solid effort and a recommended option for a lot of different categories: looter shooter fans, Soulslike lovers and people who like to replay their games as long as possible.

Around 3 years ago, Street Fighter X Tekken would have been the messiah of the fighting game genre. Now though, the competition is good. Extremely good, and this title doesn't have enough contents to be the true King of virtual combat. Even if the gameplay is pretty great, the game had just one thing that could have made it better than its adversaries, the roster. All those great characters alone could have made this a must buy, and Capcom decided to cut 12 fighters from it (already on the disc) to sell em as DLC. What an incredible waste.

The Xbox One version of the Crash Bandicoot Trilogy is as solid as the PS4 one was a year ago, and it comes recommended for both the PS One aficionados and the ones who love their 3D action platformers.

When it comes to graphics, it’s amazing and perfectly captures the Star Wars universe. When it comes to gameplay... well, it’s definitely a fun and accessible shooter, just don’t expect something too technical or perfectly balanced. DICE obviously wanted to make an intuitive FPS that anyone can play, veterans of the genre are not the main target here. Accept that, and you’ll definitely enjoy the experience quite a bit.

The result is a re-release that works, especially when it focuses on enhancing what was already there without pushing too far.

Forza Motorsport 5 is great game but it still missing some really important features like the rain, or night races. A bit of an incomplete title to be honest, but still one of the best racing games on consoles.

As the first work of Mode 7, it's an entirely satisfying tactics game.

Hunt the Night is a challenging and rewarding game with a grim atmosphere, a great art design and a well balanced combat system.

Dead Trigger 2 is the new game developed by Madfinger. The game, that is free, has a good graphic and the controls and the gameplay are very simple. The story is too short and an internet connection is necessary to play with Dead Trigger 2.

Fenix Rising is a good map pack for all Gears of War 3 multiplayer lovers.

Spectacular, with an epic story and astonishing graphics: and yet, Final Fantasy XVI forgets what is really important for the series. It's impossibile to create a build and there's nothing important left for you to manage through the menus. Proper RPG options are gone, dungeons are just banal corridors, players are forced to play the entire game in easy mode and you can beat the game with literally no effort. There's a decent base for the future, but it's not enough to see a real rebirth for the saga.

Little Goody Two Shoes was a pleasant surprise. Drawing inspiration from a well-known fairy tale, the game weaves an intriguing narrative that seamlessly blends various storytelling genres, aesthetics, and gameplay elements. The developers transition from an idyllic and fairy-tale atmosphere to grotesque nightmares effortlessly, and the entire experience is presented in an engaging way, even in the game mechanics. While there are aspects that could have been improved, and the overall story is enjoyable but not particularly memorable, it leaves us eagerly anticipating new projects from the AstralShift team.

R-Type II is a game developed by DotEmu. The game features a retro graphics and a high level of difficulty, which at times makes the application frustrating. The game features a good longevity and original graphics, all at an affordable price and without in-app purchases.

The 3DS version of this underrated classic finally comes to Europe, bringing a solid, dark and difficult RPG to a dying console, that still refuses to let go in its sunset days. Don't miss out on this one if you're a fan of role-playing games.

Call of Juarez: Bound in Blood is much better than its predecessor in all areas. The gameplay is well balanced, the duality of the gameplay works well and can give you reasons to play the game at least twice. The action is more intense, the scenery changes very frequently, and some sequences differ significantly from competition. Some players will find some choices limiting, such as the inability to use at will the cooperative actions, but we can assure you that the level of quality of the design and pressing action, tend to make you forget the substantial linearity.

Any player even remotely into rhythm games should not miss Theatrhythm Final Fantasy Curtain Call. The selection of musics, characters and videos from one of the most influential video game series of all time is just brilliant.

One of the best LEGO Games around. The developers are Marvel fans, and it shows, with an amazing amount of Easter eggs, and spot on jokes that are sure to make the game a blast for comic aficionados. There are no real evolutions in the gameplay, but it's still an accessible and entertaining product for the whole family, with a lot of content to boot.

Ravenswatch masterfully blends dark-fantasy storytelling with engaging roguelike mechanics. The unique characters, each with distinct abilities and rich backstories, elevate both the narrative and gameplay. While the secondary missions can feel repetitive, the cooperative dynamics and high replay value make it a standout title for fans of the genre.

Well, yeah, Final Fantasy Explorers is obviously trying to go through the “Monster Hunter Route”, and gain some following in that fanbase, but it’s still a pretty deep and fun game, and way more accessible than Capcom’s top seller.

After the unimaginative Secret of Mana remake, the same team upped the ante considerably and gave Trials of Mana the treatment it deserved. This is remaking done right.

I Am Setsuna proves that there's still room for the JRPG genre. It has a brilliant combat system, a good story and contains all the typical elements of the great classics from 15-20 years ago.

The comparison with Undisputed is cruel, but EA Sports UFC is still surprising. EA has shown itself to be able to create a great game, thanks to high-quality gameplay, a great graphics engine, and a brilliant online sector. If this is only the first entry in EA's take on the UFC franchise, we can expect great things from the next iterations.

It's easy to recommend Yakuza Zero to all fans of the series, as it tells a brilliant origin story that shows unseen sides of both the Kazuma and Majima personalities, and, at the same time, it's easy to dismiss this prequel as "another Yakuza game" for those whio never got to like the series. All in all, it's a solid and well written debut on PS4.

Jusant is a puzzle game about climbing that offers the player a variety of beautiful scenarios, a wonderful soundtrack, and a captivating narrative while addressing important topics with grace and sensitivity.

Mafia: Terra Madre stands out as a mature and necessary work of interactive storytelling—one that goes beyond entertainment to become a powerful tool for critical reflection. Days Gone is not the final, nor the definitive or the perfect version of Bend Studio's action adventure, as it never was, but with the upgrades coming from the PC release it sure is the best it could ever be.

Final Fantasy XII: The Zodiac Age on Nintendo Switch is a great porting that can match its PS4 counterpart, adding portability to the mix.
