Overall, EA Sports F1 25 is a decent offering—if somewhat too derivative.

Despite a slow start, the expansive open world, unique dungeons, and challenging encounters ensure a relaxing and visually appealing experience, cementing its identity within the series.

Split Fiction is a must-play for anyone who enjoyed It Takes Two. It takes the same formula as It Takes Two and pushes it even further, with much more detailed levels, a greater variety of mechanics between stages, and a story that will leave no one indifferent. Without a doubt, Split Fiction is going to be a strong contender for the GOTY awards this year, and for good reason, there hasn’t been another game that blends so many elements together and achieves what this title does.

This time, we will be in charge of a museum, and as museum managers, we will have to carry out expeditions, manage the economy, keep our “guests” happy, and more. Without a doubt, we won’t get bored in this game, as there are plenty of things to do. With the best features from its predecessors and new additions, it improves upon what we already knew, making it one of the best management games.

PGA Tour 2K25 is another great golf game from HB Studios, but arrives without important news after more than two years.

Eternal Strands takes inspiration from various genres, blending their best aspects to create a unique adventure. It had the potential to be something truly exceptional, but in the end, it left me feeling like something was missing.

Obsidian has once again created a world with an engaging story, unforgettable characters, and gameplay that is both fun and challenging. A videogame that defines the Xbox generation.

I’ve had the pleasure of playing Tails of Iron 2 on my Xbox, and the experience has been incredible. Although I haven’t tried the first game, I can say with complete certainty that after this experience, I will definitely play the first as soon as I finish this sequel. This game is a 2D soulslike where you play as Arlo, a little rat with a lot of problems. The action is fast-paced from the very beginning, and it won’t be long before you face an enemy that truly tests your skills.

Civilization VII is a great strategy proposal with new ideas, breaking with the tradition of the saga. It is a game that looks spectacular, although it is not free from technical problems. It aims to be a new kind of challenge but at the cost of betraying a traditional concept that many users expected. And if we take its previous installment as a reference, it can even be seen as a very limited product in terms of options and content.

Kingdom Come Deliverance II is a sequel that significantly improves upon the original game’s formula, offering major technical enhancements and a narrative accessible to both new and veteran players. The story picks up with Henry from the last point of the 2018 game, using flashbacks and conversations to recap past events. The gameplay stands out for its realistic combat and the memory of NPCs, adding depth and realism. Warhorse Studios has created an immersive experience that could be a strong contender for GOTY 2025.

Fantasian Neo Dimension is the Mistwalker's return to consoles with an enhanced version of a special work, meticulously crafted in its visuals. Don't expect the best story in Japanese role-playing games, but it is a very fun video game with a combat system that evolves as the adventure progresses. A must-play if you're a fan of Enix and Squaresoft video games from the late decade.

Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 is a diamond in the rough, still waiting to be fully discovered. Despite launch issues and some questionable technical decisions, the game offers a great concept that can be enjoyed by both veteran simulation enthusiasts and newcomers to this type of experience. Straddling the line between video game and simulator, its greatest strength is also its main flaw, given the proximity of its previous game, whose shadow still looms over this ambitious bid for a bright future.

Let's Sing 2025 repeats the formula with new songs and content, such as the renewed campaign mode, which will allow us to become a music star. With a selection of songs of the most varied, it promises to be the king of the parties.

BioWare was facing an impossible mission, but with Dragon Age: The Veilguard has brought to life a game which knows what it wants to be. Maybe the execution doesn't pair with the fans wishes, but this return to the fantasy franchise is entertaining and visually spectacular. The biggest flaw is an inconsistent pace because of its large length.

Planet Coaster 2 has managed to do what seemed impossible. Despite being somewhat continuous, Frontier Developments has managed to perfectly improve all aspects of the first installment, offering fans of the genre a dream game and expanding the formula with a greater complexity that enhances all aspects of the original. Beginners also have a place thanks to its complete campaign that will give them the necessary tools to get started in this wonderful world. I warn you that you will not regret it.

Dragon Quest is one of my favorite series, and although I enjoyed the Dragon Quest III remake for its details and changes that make the adventure easier to understand, I wouldn’t recommend it to new players. This remake stays so faithful to the original material that it feels like a game lost in time. Despite continuing to play the HD-2D trilogy as a fan, I believe that even Dragon Quest IX for the Nintendo DS surpasses this remake in content and gameplay. Square Enix missed the opportunity to offer a true remake, similar to those of the Final Fantasy franchise.

It is interesting to see how a game can be presented in such an original way. A strategy game, with ants, using Unreal Engine 5 and offering an amazing spectacle on PC and consoles, with brilliant performance. A different, immersive experience that can serve both new users of the genre and veterans alike.

New World Aeternum is a re-imagining of the 2021 game with the goal of releasing it on consoles, having improved story integration with better narrative, controller compatibility, and unique elements like archetypes to make it more accessible. But it remains the expansive MMO with many possibilities to get lost in and invest many hours in its individual, cooperative, and competitive missions

Silent Hill 2 Remake is the best horror game ever. Bloober Team has not only delighted us with its best game, but also with a must for fans of the genre. Its gameplay is perfectly balanced to be satisfying, accompanied to perfection by a fantastic puzzle system. In addition, it has one of the best soundtracks in the industry, as well as a graphic finish that easily makes it Top 3 of the generation at a visual level.

Sonic X Shadow Generations is a double treat. We have a poor remaster of what is considered the best title in the franchise in a decade, and on the other, we have a new independent adventure starring Shadow The Hedgehog. Excellence in level design, gameplay, and soundtrack. It’s a shame that the remaster of Sonic Generations falls short of expectations.

Sword Art Online: Fractured Daydream aims to offer a gaming experience faithful to Kirito’s virtual world, although there are still areas for improvement. Despite this, it is a very attractive title with daily and weekly challenges that keep players engaged. With high-quality graphics and sound, it offers a multiplayer experience similar to MMO raids, as well as revisiting the best moments of each character and unlocking secret scenes with your favorites.

Metaphor ReFantazio stands out as a next-generation RPG, combining elements from previous ATLUS games without losing its own identity. A very well-crafted product, with priorities that allow for a unique experience, despite the direct relationship with such a specific genre. Its design is very well done, its execution is brilliant, and it is capable of captivating us with its battles and landscapes. Diverse, challenging, and entertaining, one of those games that takes us to a new dimension where we wish time would really stand still. It is a game that all strategy lovers should play.

Visions of Mana is the first entry of Seiken Densetsu Series on Xbox and should also be for many new users who want to try a Japanese role-playing and action game that will provide us with many hours of fun. The legend is more alive than ever.

For better or worse, the apparent lack of evolution in NBA 2K25 is contrasted with substantial improvements aimed at a more natural and realistic experience. However, 2K Sports continues to exploit the success of multiplayer, resorting to very invasive and annoying microtransactions and a very casual characterization of the sports experience expected from a highly valued license like the NBA.

Although we cannot deny that the campaign duration or the number of operations may seem poor.

Tiebreak is not the perfect tennis game, but it is a great opportunity for lovers of this sport that has been so mistreated in recent years in the world of video games. If one of your keys to enjoying a sports game is the licenses, this is yours. The 120 official tennis players and dozens of licensed tournaments (although with the absence of the Grand Slams) provide endless fun, as well as a very well-developed Career mode that will excite you. The title has enough game modes to keep you entertained for years and is only made pale by some problems in its gameplay, which in general is very fun.

Star Wars Outlaws is a game that not only deserves to be played by fans of the franchise, but also by those looking for a different open world. Its progression system is really satisfying, and gameplay is really fun. It has some flaws, but it is still a very enjoyable title.

With its cryptic and deep narrative, new layers of characters, and challenging combat system, the game keeps players hooked from start to finish. After everything seen in this analysis of Eden Genesis, we can say that it has enough chances to offer us hours of entertainment and excitement. In general, Nobody Wants to Die offers a short but exciting graphic adventure with multiple endings based on decisions made during the resolution of the main case. However, I feel that much of the game unfolds as if it were in ‘automatic mode,’ which hinders my connection with the story and narrative twists. Despite its potential, I believe the game could have been more captivating.

There is no big differences between College Football and the Madden NFL franchise in terms of gameplay, but this new EA Sports video game offers a refreshing perspective on the most popular sport in the United States, although it lacks some extra game modes.

Frontier offers us a new chapter of their Formula 1 manager game, which has included a highly requested option. It may not be a videogame for everyone, but everyone has the mission to try this interesting and fascinating proposal.

Neon White is one of the best games I've played this year. Frantic, fun and with a slight touch of competitiveness. The game is a perfect symbiosis that manages to offer an outstanding result, and that I recommend playing to everyone, especially after its arrival on Game Pass.

Shadow of the Erdtree delves even more into the amazing world of Elden Ring casting magnificent boss fights, new stunning places to explore and interesting questlines. One of the best videogame experiences of the year.

Indika is a unique game. Odd Meter uses all the elements and resources to bring to life a narrative experience that leaves a mark. You will never forget its ending.

EA Sports F1 24 can be defined as a missed opportunity to do something really new. Although good work has been done to introduce new features in the game modes and some graphic aspects have been updated, the mismatches with the driving make the game feel like a somewhat cowardly bet, that takes advantage of the strength of the license. The experience is very reasonable and very exciting, so if some things are adjusted and this missed opportunity is ignored, it remains a very strong game to delight the fans of Formula 1.

System Shock is the remake any classic would wish to have: it improves its graphics, its gameplay and all that being truth to the original game. A must have for both new and classic players.

Senua's Saga: Hellblade 2 is the game that Xbox has been looking for for so long. A masterpiece on par with its predecessor that shines through its sound, its graphics and a memorable performance by Melina Juergens. A candidate for Game of the Year.

Open Roads is the triumphant return of the creators of Gone Home, one of the references in walking simulator genre. With an emotional, exciting story and amazing performances from Kaitlyn Dever and Keri Russell, the game is a must for every fan of the genre.

Unicorn Overlord offers a gaming experience that ranges from rewarding moments where everything flows and army growth is the sole concern, to complex challenges that demand creativity and efficient use of limited resources. Forming a competent squad requires more than just selecting favorite characters; it’s crucial to consider their role in combat and the right timing for deployment. Although battles do not have severe consequences, this can lead to an overload of options and characters, many of which may remain unused due to the plethora of possible configurations.

Dragon's Dogma 2 is a very special RPG. The title has made an effort to try to create a world that wants to be explored, and is not a mere excuse to advance to the next city. The journey and not the destination is the most important thing in an adventure that presents a really deep and tremendously fun gameplay system. It is true that it is not perfect, especially at a technical level, but it is good enough to be considered one of the greats of the year.

This reimagination of a classic nails the tone, the cast and the mix of puzzle, exploration and action. It has its weaknesses, but Pieces Interactive has managed to create a horror game that should be able to relive this iconic franchise.

After this analysis of Sons of The Forest, we cannot do anything other than completely recommend this title to you. The story, survival and the feeling of being in constant danger make Sons of The Forest a must-have for lovers of survival and horror games, as it surpasses and improves everything seen in the previous title.

A fantastic real-time strategy game in the world of Warhammer 40K, even if you are not familiar with RTS games or Warhammer 40K. If you like games similar to Gears Tactics or X_COM, it is definitely an option for you.

The Outlast Trials is a fun coop adventure, perfect for teaming up with friends. But loses what made Outlast saga so special among hardcore survival horror fans.

The amount of game modes, which suit the needs of different types of players, the addictive gameplay and the fact that we end up engaging in great matches result in a game that is a must for wrestling fans.

Brothers: A Tale of Two Sons Remake is everything a remake should be: true to the original and an important graphical improvement. Although it lessens its emotional impact if you've played it before, this is a story worth a replay, also thanks to its original gameplay mechanic that fits perfectly with narrative. It has now a coop mode.

Balatro is as good as Slay the Spire was. It's a roguelike deckbuilder, but beginning from a poker deck. The concept is both original and fun. Its modifier cards offer almost unlimited possibilities, making each run unique in its own way. Balatro gives you hours and hours of entertaining and we can just wait for new content in the future. One of the best games of the year so far.

Although the player might lose it and feel off during the very first couple of hours, Skull and Bones slowly develops a strong and solid naval battle/exploration and beautifully made videogame for all pirate fans. An outstanding budget results in a very well done videogame overall with barely bugs or errors despite we're playing the very first version of the game. It may be surely disappointing to not fight with swords, but the amazing, powerful and full of variants naval battles are the best right now in the genre. The world is alive and great, with a lot of things to do, and some other things are even better done than Sea of Thieves, which is, impressive and worth mentioning. We got a real, adult and non humoristic alternative to Rare's biggest work yet.

Banishers: Ghosts of New Eden marks a new milestone in the Don't Nod career in terms of ambition. The creators of Life is Strange succeed once again thanks to their narrative skills, but has a lot to improve in the combat aspect.

Persona 3 Reload, despite some shortcomings if we compare it with its past versions, will be recognized as one of the best ways to experience this shocking story. Perhaps the lack of content such as “The Answer” could give the feeling that something is missing, but the possibility of seeing this type of expansions in the future remains open.

Infinite Wealth is a very complete, almost infinite game, with a story that closes the Gaiden and Yakuza Like a Dragon arcs, as well as saying goodbye to the greatest character of the entire saga, with a tribute that really does him justice, and not only to him, but also to the players who have followed him through all the games.

Apollo Justice Ace Attorney Trilogy gives us a great oportunity to enjoy the last three chronological entries of Phoenix Wright franchise the best way possible. The original titles were already prominent videogames, but recent graphical upgrades, quality of life improvements and a great deal of extras and achievements to unlock, we think the game deserves a great mark.

Baldur’s Gate 3 is a role-playing game that recreates the world of Dungeons & Dragons in a fascinating virtual universe with infinite possibilities. The game has a great graphical quality, an immersive plot and many options for the player. Although it can be difficult at first, the game becomes more fun and addictive as you progress. Baldur’s Gate 3 is a game that every role-playing fan should try, as it will become an unforgettable benchmark in the genre.

Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora is a game that immerses us in a cinematic universe in a very efficient way. Technically spectacular, with Ubisoft's way of making open worlds.
