A decent, fun and with some solid ideas beat' em up game, which could be better if some gameplay balancing issues were avoided.

Even though Remothered: Broken Porcelain is an improved sequel, it is vitiated by a plethora of bugs and technical issues. At least it is somewhat comforting that the developers have been applying updates regularly, so the game may one day reach the refined state it should have been in the first place.

Partisans 1941 appearance in the genre of real time tactics games tries to bring us memories from the past of the genre. Even though it is composed of some fresh ideas, these are left half-finished and the result can be frustrating. But where it fails miserably is when its developers try to tear apart the connection of Nazism to the dark events of WW II.

A very solid entry in the genre by Digital Arrow that narrowly misses on true greatness due to some small missteps. A bit more attention to detail, better enemy AI and higher production values would have hugely benefited an otherwise very enjoyable action/simulation game.

Despite certain shortcomings regarding both its single-player and multiplayer content, Star Wars: Squadrons is a glorious, nostalgic throwback to a game genre that has been sorely missing from our lives for more than 20 years.

Impressive remake, not completely true to the original and with some anachronistic gameplay mechanisms, but it remains the best Mafia game of the series.

Pendragon utilizes the Arthurian Legend as a backdrop to bring forth an intriguing coalescence of chess-like tactics and interactive fiction. Challenging yet accessible and addictive.

For the players who have invested heavily both time and money on a previous iteration, NBA2K21 has nothing new to offer. The new MyCareer story and the necessary roster updates would not justify a purchase at its full price. Our grade refers to the technical aspects of the game, but we are highly critical on how the series have devolved into a microtransactions Pay2Progress model.

Probably the best title created from Supergiant Games and one of the best roguelite games out there.

Marvel's Avengers is an uneven package. A good single-player campaign, held back by a lacklustre live service multiplayer segment.

The lack of any real upgrades to its visuals or gameplay unfortunately make Kingdoms of Amalur: Re-Reckoning the same soup, just reheated. At least the overall experience is still the same as in the original release back in 2012.

King Art Games display a versatile knack for resuscitating comatose genres, first with Book of Unwritten Tales (point-and-click adventures) and now with Iron Harvest (Real-Time Strategy). Despite a few details which need, ironing out, Iron Harvest will provide you countless of hours of much-needed RTS goodness. The support roadmap can only inspire confidence that most excellent things are yet to come for the game.

Even though Ary and the Secret of Seasons may not be the best action nor the best adventure game out there, it is unique in the way you decide how to change the environment around you.

Hotshot Racing feels like a product made with passion, which at the same time manages to entertain the player and to create pleasant memories from a more "innocent" era that has passed irrevocably. The limited content and the not so interesting alternative modes deduct some points from the final rating, something that can be corrected in the future with the appropriate support from the developers.

Star Renegades is an addictive roguelite with a deep combat system, well-paced progression and satisfyingly punishing enemies. It could use some more variety and content but it is a very solid purchase if you are up to the challenge.

Captain Tsubasa is not a game for everyone who loves football in the real world. It gives more importance to fan service than actual gameplay, fortunately without falling into gross mistakes.

Wasteland 3 is an incredibly fun game and a damn good RPG, that pays a fitting tribute to the legacy of Interplay's Fallout games and, through them, to Brian Fargo's first Wasteland game, which originally set the standards for our post-apocalyptic journeys back in 1988.

With graphics that have almost nothing to envy from bigger budget productions, a sufficiently deep and vindictively compelling gameplay that keeps the interest high even for more than one New Game +, Mortal Shell is a great example of a qualitative souls-like game that does not come from the hands of From Software.

Only "mayhem" can describe what is going on in your screens at this intense side-scrolling bullet-storm. Countless combinations of weapons during loadouts, progressively tougher levels which are revisited up to difficulty 10 (this doesn't go to eleven), lots of mindless fun. An intense yet calming experience once you master it!

Willy Morgan and the Curse of Bone Town is a great adventure, worth playing for the fans of the genre, even though they will likely need just a few hours to reach to the end credits. We just hope that Willy's adventures will continue.

Do not be fooled by the beautiful, comic book style, approach of the presentation. Liberated is a very frustrating game that in the three hours it last, it will make you bored, even annoyed with both the gameplay mechanisms and the handling of its concept.

VirtuaVerse tries too hard to combine different elements of storytelling in a point-and-click adventure. Although the main character displays contradicting personality traits that do not make any sense, the game makes up for it with a stellar soundtrack and well-designed pixel art, both contributing to the cyberpunk setting vibes.
