As with its predecessor, Little Nightmares II is an extraordinarily strong game experience. Apart from its decent gameplay mechanics, it successfully emphasizes into creating an eerie atmosphere and depicting images that are hard to forget.

Most of Rustler's mechanisms are directly inspired by the first GTA games. This, combined with the games Monty Python-inspired sense of humor, result in a truly unique blend. Some aspects, like the lack of manual or even checkpoint saves, might be a bit "too hardcore for today's world", but its Early Access status means that feedback can be received and that any shortcomings can be remedied. Nioh 2 is more about refining its core gameplay than making radical changes. By adding extra layers of depth to its well-tempered mechanics, it offers a high-quality Action-RPG which retains its unique identity, despite some technical issues. Last but not least, it's a more inviting experience this time around, but as it happens with all Souls-like games, player's commitment is mandatory to progress.

In a period lagging from enough quality adventure games, Mutropolis is pleasant surprise. This is an enjoyable adventure and a first- class debut for Pirita Studio.

Playing Cyber Shadow is like stepping through a portal and being transferred back to the late 80's - early 90's. High nostalgia factor aside, it's a finely crafted sidescrolling action platformer in and of itself and should not be overlooked by fans of the genre.

Scott Pilgrim VS The World: The Game is a decent beat-'em up that fans of the genre should get with their eyes closed, especially when it is the first time it officially appears on PC. As for the rest, the game may offer a few hours of quality fun with friends and that is it.

In a bold move, Team Meat has stirred the successful recipe of Super Meat Boy and has delivered a runner-type game in its sequel; SMBF. The procedural level generation algorithm seems to work wonders and the new art-style is modernizes the game. Very interesting ideas in the gameplay mechanics, and increased difficulty promise to keep you engaged for as long as you want to hone your skills. It never ends.

A love letter to the sworn lovers of traditional point 'n' click adventure games. All of them should, in return, make sure to buy the game at full price, without waiting for it to be included in any kind of bundle, if they want to have the chance to play more games like The Hand of Glory in the future.

Empire of Sin is a love-letter to the old-school design of Bullfrog games. Part management sim, part RPG, part XCOM (with gangsters), it achieves its goal to bring different elements together into a cohesive and enjoyable unit. Its shortcomings and few bugs did not affect how much fun we had testing this game.

An incredibly ambitious game, an Ark of Everything Cyberpunk and an excellent RPG and Immersive Sim, with technical and AI-related shortcomings that prevent it from fully realizing the disproportionately great expectations it has generated in the 8 years since its original announcement.

Call of the Sea is an immersive puzzle / adventure that came almost out of nowhere. Its satisfying puzzles and well-written, sometimes moving, story compose a more than decent game that will shake your brain cells for about six to seven hours.

Morbid: The Seven Acolytes may not have the deepest gameplay mechanics or thrilling combat, but its meticulous artistry and foreboding sense of dread will keep you engaged throughout its campaign.

El Hijo is a simple yet entertaining game. Using basic mechanics and an intriguing art style, it manages to successfully deliver a charming stealth adventure, despite its few flaws.

Yakuza: Like A Dragon is a brave reboot that manages to change the recipe very successfully and you will love it, especially if you have even a slight appeal to JRPGs or turn-based games in general. It is not perfect, mainly thanks to the "childhood" diseases which were inherited from other representatives of the genre (such as grinding), however it remains a highly enjoyable and entertaining game that can offer dozens of hours of enjoyment.

Immortals: Fenyx Rising may not be aiming towards something specific, but it is still a very entertaining title with tons of activities to spend your time with. Its components will surely satisfy the majority of players, but not the most demanding who look for a more focused experience.

Removing the VR "gimmick" that made the original Chronos release noteworthy back in 2016, results in an adequately fun Action-RPG that doesn't really stand out when compared to either Gunfire's Remnant: From the Ashes or to other Souls-like games currently available out there.

One of the best Single-Player segments we've seen in a Call of Duty game, combined with rather lacking Multiplayer, comprise a title that goes in with guns blazing but ultimately falls short.

While some of Godfall's systems are polished and well-designed (e.g. combat) the title fails to bring everything together. The result, although visually spectacular, is quite underwhelming, imposed by the demanding grinding which feels like a chore rather than motivation. A missed chance.

There are very few new features in this year's Football Manager but the game's match engine is the star of the show. The graphical upgrade is slight but numerous improvements in AI and animation make the beautiful game more beautiful than ever before.

A worthy successor to the legendary The Dark Descent that doesn't quite match the brilliance of that game or Frictional's other masterpiece, SOMA. Nevertheless it is a quality horror game with an engaging story and plenty of suspenseful moments.

Pumpkin Jack is not the game that will change your life, but what it is trying to achieve, that is, to offer a slightly old-school platform experience accompanied by various "spices" to provide more taste to the dish, it does it with dignity. As a work of a single person, the result is impressive, as a product it is just a decent title to spend your time.

Transient is what you get if Dear Esther donned Nyarlathotep's mantle, had some superficial puzzles and was drenched in neon colours. From the talented creators of Conarium and Darkness Within games, we had come to expect something more engaging on their fourth endeavour.

Legion is easily the best Watch Dogs game we've seen so far, masterfully managing to compromise between WD's more serious tone and WD2's whacky cheerfulness, while at the same time introducing well-crafted and deep innovations to the series' core gameplay.
