With Elden Ring, From Software establishes an ideal model in open world game design. Neither too empty nor artificially crowded, with each adventure bringing a significant reward, albeit proportionate to the intensity of the challenge. The game sets a new paradigm for the genre, as it strikes a perfect balance by rewarding the player for each task accomplished, exploration well performed, or each battle won. The journey is massive, full of content and with minimal repetition. Elden Ring delivers extensive customization and an even more enhanced combat system than its spiritual predecessors. This aspect, added to the online component, will surely ensure a healthy community for years to come. It is unfortunate that performance issues exist, but such a factor should not be an impediment for the community to enjoy such a special game.

Astro Bot is an excellent platform game. It's fun, accessible, varied and full of collectibles. The references to the franchises and games that have been part of the history of PlayStation consoles are amazing, especially the stages themed around specific series. Elden Ring: Shadow of the Erdtree is FromSoftware's biggest and most ambitious expansion yet. However, it could have been flawless if it weren't for the over-recycling of enemies. Still, the challenging boss fights and great sense of exploration with the addition of new map layouts make Shadow of the Erdtree an excellent conclusion to the Elden Ring journey.

The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt on PS5 is still the fantastic adventure that won over thousands of players in the last generation. Although Ms. Chalice is not exactly a third character and works as a charm, she brings a lot of new features to the gameplay. Bosses are still amazing and challenging. The only problem may be the duration of the DLC.

Armored Core VI: Fires of Rubicon has excellent gameplay and with numerous possibilities to assemble your mecha and style of play. However, it is also a title that does not fulfill its potential with the story, with the online and it has a series of decisions that could make the experience more enjoyable. It's certainly a great game, but it could have reached a much higher level of excellence.

Octopath Traveler II is an excellent example of how to release a classic JRPG with a modern flair. Its engaging narrative and captivating characters by themselves already deliver a highly valuable title, but it is on the rich simplicity of its combat where it reaches an even higher bar. The small technical issues, excessive random encounters and simplistic character evolution system are the only complaints that can be made about a title that delights at every minute.

Pragmata is a great Capcom game with a good story and unusual, yet very functional gameplay. The length is ideal in some ways, and there are many extras to enjoy. In the end, the only criticism is that the game as a whole becomes repetitive in combat after you get the hang of it.

Horizon Zero Dawn Remastered features fantastic graphics, it is technically flawless, and offers some quality of life improvements. However, the original game hasn't aged badly enough to receive a remaster already, and revisiting it without certain improvements from its sequel is a bit odd. However, it's still a must-play title.

Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater is a fantastic game because the title it's based on is splendid. Konami offers excellent graphics in this new version. The only problem is that there was room to modernize elements of the original game while still maintaining respect for the work, but the developer decided to play safe. This means that if you're expecting something different from what you've known for over 20 years, you'll be disappointed. On the other hand, for those looking to relive Snake's adventure or experience the saga for the first time, Metal Gear Solid Delta is an excellent option.

Artistically, Symphonia is one of the most beautiful examples in the precision platform genre. Its musical themes are engaging and as efficient as the level design and gameplay progression, although the controls are not always as precise as they should be and there is a lack of an additional area to make the game a more robust and varied package. These issues, however, do not negate the harmony of this orchestra that is worth listening to.
