Yeah yeah it's a sequel, it's more of the same yadda yadda yadda, it's nothing more than a simple shooter... But y'know, screw it: I've had so much fun with The New Colossus, that I'm going to give it a 92. Not everyone will agree with it, but those people can kiss my politically incorrect *ss.- Power Unlimited

Total War: Warhammer 2 is a couple of very large updates in a box, but anyone who loves the first game will have no regrets buying this. The new factions are great, the Campaign is more streamlined, interesting and clear, all the smaller adjustments increase the urge for yet another turn and the battles are incredibly spectacular. It would be an even greater accomplishment if more people could enjoy this, but for a game, this is very complex.- Power Unlimited

Tales of Arise doesn't do anything new, but also almost nothing wrong. The story continues to captivate from start to finish, although some of the plot twists are quite predictable for the seasoned JRPG player. The combat is the showpiece of the game and offers wonderful depth, challenges your tactical ability and is a feast for the eyes. You take the small flaws for granted and quickly forget as you wander through the beautiful settings of Dahna and beyond.- Power Unlimited

The Crown of the Ivory King DLC could have been the best thing that ever happened to Dark Souls 2. It's just too bad that From Software dropped the ball on some design choices. It has great bosses and an overall perfect feel, except that one area... That area will make you hate snow and blizzards even more than you already do. It's a good thing it's optional. The rest is nearing perfection.- Power Unlimited

It's been a while since I had this much fun in World of Warcraft. Draenor is not only very pretty, but also packed with fun quests. The Warlords are the ultimate bad guys and you truly feel called upon to stop them. Finally, garrisons are an addictive and well-integrated addition. Warlords of Draenor is a very complete expansion, which offers the perfect entry point for newcomers, but also provides veterans with enough to give the MMORPG another chance.- Power Unlimited

Halo Infinite is a sequence of Greatest Halo Hits, stitched together with an open Ring world. The game offers a level of action that only the early parts can compete with in sheer fun. Rocket League Sideswipe is a fantastic translation of a console and PC game into a mobile game. The controls are so intuitive that anyone can pick up the game, yet challenging to really excel at it. It looks clean, offers a full and accessible experience and is a nice extension of the Rocket League brand. Unfortunately, the amount of content is still on the meager side and the lack of statistics is a big loss.- Power Unlimited

Diablo 4 looks and plays incredibly well, and Blizzard shows that it is back at the top in terms of story and cutscenes. Yet the game starts very slowly, it starts to show a lack of quality of life in the endgame and this MMO ARPG is also very unsocial. Nothing that can't be solved in a few seasons, but until then D4 certainly doesn't deserve a 9 or higher.- Power Unlimited

Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown makes it difficult to put down the controller. The fluid action, the beautiful animations and designs, the creative levels and ways you can use the map... I could go on and on. Platforming and action are masterfully balanced and braving the game world and its secrets is as challenging as it is rewarding. There are some bugs here and there during boss fights, and the occasional lack of button responsiveness, but that really doesn't make the game any less fun. If you search long and hard, you can name ten things that are not good about Cyberpunk 2077. But this game offers ninety good things in return. Its impressive roster of almost fifty playable characters manages to draw in both newcomers and veteran players, and keeps them hooked through relevance, balance and sheer playability. On principle Halo 5: Guardians’ grade should be historically low due to the fact that 343 Industries left out the splitscreen co-op, but that would be unjust. Because its single player campaign has been improved from that of Halo 4 –although not narratively-, the multiplayer has been modernized (more than the single player) and the new Spartan skills are almost all great additions. Resident Evil Village is one of the most versatile instalments of the franchise when it comes to environments, enemies and puzzles. It’s a rollercoaster of memorable moments, nasty body horror and fan service. But like most funfair rides it doesn’t offer much in the way of sideshows and the fun is over way too quickly. But you can always go again!- Power Unlimited

The qualities that make Xenoblade Chronicles X such an impressive and unforgettable game are the same things that make it a slog every now and then: its humongous size, dense flora and fauna, and overwhelming depth. All in all, it's easily one of the best role-playing games of 2015.- Power Unlimited

It is evident that Miles Morales was initially meant as DLC, because it has almost exactly the same structure as Marvel’s Spider-Man, The Heist, Turf Wars and Silver Lining. This means that you’ll be going through the familiar motions a bit more and the fun doesn’t last as long as that of the original main game, but it definitely isn’t less intense or spectacular. Maybe the average amount of emotions per minute is even equal to that of Marvel’s Spider-Man, which is a mean feat.- Power Unlimited

A beautiful setting, convincing characters and a handful of heartwarming and heartbreaking moments make up for the inconsistent story and messy pace of True Colors. Hopefully Deck Nine continues this line, because this is the best Life Is Strange since part 1.- Power Unlimited

Attacking is more fun and spectacular in FIFA 18 and the game offers a huge package which will definitely water your mouth if you're a football fan. That's why it is such a pity defending is less fun and some new features are somewhat unpolished.- Power Unlimited

Super Mario RPG is a perfect remake of the SNES classic with just a few smart improvements. It's amazing how much of the game is still rock solid and it proves once again that Squaresoft was in its golden era at the time. However, the game is too short to belong among the elite Triple-A RPGs these days.- Power Unlimited

Ghost of Tsushima is simply a gorgeous looking game, offering a constant supply of pictures that wouldn’t look bad at all adorned on the wall of your tatami room. But underneath all the splendour you’ll find a fairly standard open world game that unavoidably will get repetitive with time, the big difference being that it offers better combat and progression than you’re used to of an Assassin’s Creed.- Power Unlimited

Lara Croft: GO is a game that uses its own limitations for good and doesn’t hold off on vibe and lore. A truly enjoyable puzzle game with a great sense of style. [Oct. 2015, p. 055]- Power Unlimited

The charm of Persona 5 + the demons of Shin Megami Tensei + the intense hack-&-slash-action from mosou = a damned strong sequel. Because against all expectations, that's exactly what Strikers is: Persona 5-2!- Power Unlimited

Nitro Fueled is quite a difficult game with only a few catch-up items, in which you have to powerslide like crazy, curse the AI and the bossbattles. Apart from that it's a cool classic that has had a great nitro-upgrade.- Power Unlimited

Bigby Wolf is the perfect protagonist for this shocking Telltale adventure in the Fables universe, because of the convincing way you can mold him into a good or bad wolf. Too bad the game is lacking in the technical and gameplay department. [Aug 2014, p.63]- Power Unlimited

If you have warm feelings for Disney characters and worlds, this is perhaps the best game ever, but even if you don't have a real connection with The Mouse House, Kingdom Hearts 3 still offers a fantastic action adventure. Took Square 13 years to make this, but it shows.- Power Unlimited

Easily the definitive version of the survival-horror classic, Resident Evil Remaster HD is a faithful reworking of the GameCube remake. Perhaps a bit too faithful, with the ever insisting animations of opening doors feeling jarring and obtrusive in this day and age. The new control method, however, does away with the sluggish tank controls and ensures that the very first Resident Evil becomes more streamlined and accessible for a new generation.- Power Unlimited

While Crown of the Old Iron King is a small step backwards in comparison to the previous Dark Souls 2 DLC, it’s still superb. It’s not as dark or filled with poison as Crown of the Sunken King, but fire is the trade-off here. The enemies are not as tough as you're used to, but there are many of them. And it is truly a treat to walk in and around Brume Tower. Crown of the Old Iron King is a must-have for the great 3 to 6 hours you get.- Power Unlimited

I’m absolutely delighted with Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater. This is the more beautiful, modern version of Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater that my heart desires. While Delta doesn’t innovate in the way the recent Resident Evil remakes do, that’s understandable given the weight of the original. Another great touch is that purists can dive into the settings to make the game as ‘faithful’ as possible. Unfortunately, a 60 frames-per-second cap on PC is downright absurd, especially since frame drops—though rare—can still occur.- Power Unlimited

Sackboy: A Big Adventure is a successful outing, which with some adjustments in a possible next installment could even be a step in a better direction for the knitted protagonist. Especially in co-op great fun, although unfortunately we still have to wait for online co-op.- Power Unlimited
