If you are a tower defense fan, you need to download the full version of this game. And if you are a not a fan of the genre, Defense Grid just might have enough in its bag of tricks to convert you.

Section 8 mixes many elements from previous games in the genre, and actually does so pretty well, but the control issues, overall weapon imbalance, and even slight learning curve prevent this game from being all that it can be.

It is quite obvious that Puzzle Kingdoms had a low budget to work with. They tried to recreate Puzzle Quest to make another quick buck, but fell completely flat.

Devil Summoner 2 might not have as many redeeming qualities as some of the later Persona titles, and it might not even tie the two chunks of the game together as well as those titles do either, but that doesn’t mean that the entire game isn’t a solid investment from the moment that it starts.

The entire product feels rushed and is definitely of budget title quality.

While X-Men Origins: Wolverine has some nice features, it ultimately can’t shake its mediocre gameplay.

So while Strong Bad’s Cool Game for Attractive People may have come to an end, it is still one of the more impressive point and click adventure games that came out in 2008 and firmly deserves a look.

As it stands, Sonic Unleashed is not the drastic reboot they claimed it would be. The problem the game faces once again is focus.

While Persona 4 manages to be the very definition of a hardcore Japanese role playing game, and possibly one of the better (if not best) role playing game that came out in 2008 as well.

For people who are looking for this particular niche of gaming there really isn’t much. That said this one should still be avoided for any reason besides a few sad laughs at someone else’s expense.

Say, if you buy a 10lbs bag of these chocolate morsels, this crappy Wii game could have been bundled with it...like finding a toy in a box of cereal.

Unless something drastic happens to the series, perhaps THQ is better putting this old dog down.

I can’t really recommend this game to anyone. Even at the budget price of $20, this game isn’t good.

For anyone looking for a racing game on the Wii there are better games out there, but for the kids that get given this by a grandmother looking to recapture her youth could have done a whole lot worse.

Without a doubt, Episode 4- Dangeresque 3 is the best Strong Bad chapter to date.

The final score from between Guitar Hero: On Tour and Guitar Hero: On Tour Decades is pretty close, but Decades is the clear winner. With a much more enjoyable song list and minor enhances lightly sprinkled throughout the game (there is even a new “about” feature with gives more details about each song/band and even gives a background about all unlockable guitars), be sure to choose Decades if you have to make a decision between the two versions.

When you take a look at this game as a whole, even fans should be able to see the basic gameplay, last-gen graphics, and linear plotline.

The game isn’t terrible, but it’s definitely bad. Avoid.

Pet Pals: Animal Doctor might have started out as a good idea for children that are interested in animal medicine, but along the way, it ended up being a budget disappointment.

Unfortunately, if you have already played Brain Challenge on another system, you may want to skip over this WiiWare version because it really isn’t anything you have not seen before.

Little Red Riding Hood’s Zombie BBQ is one creative idea that suffers from lack of follow through.

North American Hunting Extravaganza is one of the most broken gameplay experiences I have ever seen in a packaged retail game. If this was a final project for a freshman’s intro college course, then it would be passable. But paying money to have this experience is one upsetting thought.

Just about everything about this title comes up short. Disappointedly short. All the makings of an interesting story and gameplay are here, but it’s as if the developers had a “it’s good enough” attitude.

Just an average shooter.

The bottom line is simple. If you are a fan of classic Namco games, there is no reason to not buy this disc. If you have not yet bought any of the games available on Xbox Live, this is the way to do it because you are getting more than your money worth.

E2A is a game you should stay away from, but parents will buy this for there kids anyway because they know what they are getting: a non-violent children’s game.

It is not that this game is bad, it is just a little harder to justify a purchase when Guitar Hero does so much more.

Real Soccer 2009 is a surprisingly good game considering the stiff competition.

Rubik’s World is probably one of the only games to come out last year with vastly different game types that almost never connect to the greater whole and still managed to be very playable.

If you own a next gen system, you really owe it to yourself to play this game for at least 10 hours of your life. Doing this will not only prove how entertaining games can be, but rather act as a statement as to how far video games have come.

For the most part, the simple 2D art design works extremely well in generating the game’s overall appeal; it just could have used slightly more definition in terms of upgrading structures and deploying more powerful units.

Orochi Saga is in the same conundrum as all the other SNK games I’ve reviewed. Fun to play. Bad graphics. Low price. Lots of nostalgia value.

Neverland Card Battles has more problems than solutions and entertainment value.

So while Clash of Ninja Revolution 2 has a slick battle system with a great character roster…that’s it.

Overall, there really isn’t anything to terrible to say about Eternal Sonata. The first hours are definitely the slowest part of the game and are very “Japanese,” but any RPG fan will enjoy the balanced combat system and haunting musical score.

If you like fast paced racers that are more on the arcadey side, then there is no reason why you shouldn’t give Midnight Club LA a try.

Yes, this is still Tetris, the same game we have been playing for over 20 years, but this download is such a complete package, it could very well retail as a boxed title for double the amount of the money it costs to download it.

If you are fan of point and click adventures, there is absolutely no reason why you should not buy this game even with the shoddy programming code.

Path of the Ninja 2 is basically D3 making the best with what they had, and doing something impressive with it.

Spectromancer might not be the best-looking game on PC, and it might not have the best bells and whistles of games that came out in the last 10 years; the one thing that it does have is amazingly fun and deep gameplay. Combined with the pace of the matches and the reasonable, 20 dollar asking price for the game, it seems that anyone who is interested in card games, either casually or seriously should pick this up despite having a few flaws.

But for a cheaper price point of the $30 range, Line Rider 2: Unbound is still worthy to be at least a rental. Or go find the original version online for free.

Double Helix has given it a sorely needed overhaul while retaining what's made it great, and even though newcomers to the series may not love it as much as the regulars (for them, I would recommend try before you buy), there's still a frightful time to be had for all.

For the price, Unsolved Crimes isn’t bad.
