    Legendary is by no means awful — it’s just about as vanilla as first-person shooters get. It all wraps up with a completely unsatisfying “wait for the sequel” type cliffhanger. We’ll see.

    While it's a better game than Turning Point, Spark still shows a lack of capacity to design a modern and competitive FPS. Slow controls, unfair difficulty, boring game mechanics and forgettable story make this title simply uninteresting, except for some moments of visual spectacle fighting colossal creatures.

    Just about everything about this title comes up short. Disappointedly short. All the makings of an interesting story and gameplay are here, but it’s as if the developers had a “it’s good enough” attitude.

    Unfortunately, the gameplay comes across as messy and incomplete, the arrangement of hazards and threats from monsters is ineffective at best and boring at worst. Plot points and development is practically nonexistent, and the standard shooter mechanics just fall flat.

They really did a good job on creating atmosphere, to give the locales a sense of emotionality. The audio is satisfactory and surprisingly effective in places. There are some really good and charming moments in the game. I also like the labaratory where the player can have different monsters pitted against each other. That's a winning touch. This game deserves better than how people are dismissing it- probably insider stuff anyway. Well I'm here to say listen to an independent. Maybe Spark didn't have Resistance, Gears of War, or Fallout money, but they crafted a very good game in spite of it. They also thought of a more idependent and original idea than nuclear fallout, or aliens of some sort. My son and I both like the game and to get the sense of what we ususally like in shooters I play F.E.A.R. and Far Cry 2, and he likes R6V2, COD4, and Far Cry 2 online. "We want to stay away from using super "powers" as another form of a "gun." - Spark Unlimited.

    I really enjoyed it! Its nothing special but a fun shooter! Graphics are alright, levels are linear but enjoyable, sound and music is good (iI really enjoyed it!     This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. Even when Legendary had some pretty bad reviews, I decided to give it a try since it was available for a cheap price. I must say that I was positively suprised by the game. It had some issues, like with the cutscenes lagging a bit at the beginning, but overally it was a decent game. It might have been a bit too difficult for these modern casual gamers with its small "puzzles" as there was no guides. In the warehouse with the first werewolves, I tried using boxes to get to the upper level and it didn't work. Got fustraded and shot a barrer which I then noticed to cause the platform go higher with the other getting down. That is what a game needs. Few puzzles that will make you mad and, after finishing, jump in joy. Anyway, Legendary might not be the best game out there, but definitely worth atleast one playthrough.… Expand

All I can say after I beheaded my first werewolf after what seemed like 50 hacks at his neck with a FIRE AXE, only to be finished by another werewolf, this game was dead to me. Slow movements, a not so easy "easy difficulty setting", and now that ive played it, boring story, this game gets a giant goose egg from me.… Expand
