Freshly Frosted is a fun and sweet puzzle title. With an array of mechanics to overcome and many doughnuts to ice, you must be logical and patient to be victorious. Furthermore, it's wonderfully surreal and calm thanks to the pastel colour palette, serene music, and slow gameplay.- Movies Games and Tech

The Casting Of Frank Stone is an evolution of the formula Supermassive Games have been cultivating for years. A strong diverse cast with wonderful voice acting helps propel the intense and chilling moments on display in this horror tale. Great quality of life improvements and innovations create strong benchmarks for interactive games. Whilst a rushed and muddled final act and the lack of co-op hurt the games overall appeal, there’s more than enough for horror fans to enjoy. Dead By Daylight fans will have an absolute blast with this game, as I did. See you in the fog!- Movies Games and Tech

For fans of the original game, Aiko’s Choice is a solid, if not spectacular return to the series. A middling story and short length threaten to derail the game but thankfully with its addictive gameplay and gorgeous visuals, this game is certainly worth fans’ time. Tales From Toyotoki: Arrival Of The Witch is a feat in visual art design and a compelling story of love, friendship and social hardships mixed in with fantasy mystery. With this being a visual novel, gameplay here is non-existent so it’s important to set your expectations right, but if you are looking for a gripping and intriguing story, this is the game for you. While I wish the game could have been just a little bit longer, the audio design and soundtrack help propel this into a truly memorable experience.- Movies Games and Tech

Star Wars: Bounty Hunter on PS4/PS5 is a loving time capsule. It’s not a modern game in structure or control feel, but for fans of Star Wars lore, especially the prequel trilogy and The Mandalorian-style bounty hunting fantasy, it offers a compelling ride. Teardown is easily one of the most creative and fun games I have played in very a long time. Beholder 3 takes the best bits of the first two games in this series and blends them together to make a fun, dark, morally challenging point-and-click adventure. Simply put, NeverAwake is a smooth, responsive, and entertaining shoot ‘em up. The gameplay is both fast-paced and increasingly challenging, offering a lot of replayability. Artistically, the unique blend of realism and abstract imagery perfectly illustrates the nightmarish aesthetic. Mr. Run and Jump is a precise speedrunning title that will make you scream! However, the Dynamic Assistance makes the action bearable. Though this isn't as tough as Super Meat Boy, it'll still test your patience.- Movies Games and Tech

Mia and the Dragon Princess is an excellent FMV title. Despite its minor issues, I loved this captivating and often witty endeavour. Its short playtime mitigates tedium and the colourful characters and fun acting will make you chuckle throughout. If you love the genre, then you must give this a go!- Movies Games and Tech

While Terraformers has its faults like the unclear tutorials that don’t explain the mechanics of the game very well, it is overall still a very fun game. This is thanks to the fantastic presentation, the many unlockable options and difficulty options leading to a very replayable game, and the challenging yet enjoyable gameplay. I strongly recommend giving this game a go. While it has a slow start, I encourage you to push through its grueling start to find a fantastic game with a lot of depth and an emotional soundtrack.- Movies Games and Tech

Beyond the Ice Palace 2 is a gritty and tough action platformer. If you can cope with the brutality, you will enjoy the gothic setting and the captivating lore. It is cruel and unfair, but the action is oddly rewarding.- Movies Games and Tech

These old ported Flash games were a great reminder of the old time. Places like Newgrounds and Kongregate still stand and are doing great things, but it’s nice to revisit the old stick figure shows and Stickman Adventure games. New times aren’t completely bad, even SoulGames made a new game for Steam called Neverseen. It has a lot of what they specialized in, and has their signature art as well. But Swords and Souls Legacy Collection is definitely good to playthrough.- Movies Games and Tech

Closer The Distance is a hard game to get through. Not because it is difficult but because of the emotional rollercoaster it took me on. Each character has their grief that the player has to help them through, and the interactions between the various characters in Yesterby are intricate and complicated. It’s a powerful narrative, held back by some clunky controls on the console and some lulls in the gameplay. The game is still vital in pushing game narratives in directions that I don’t see too often. This game is worth checking out if you can handle the emotional journey it takes you on.- Movies Games and Tech

Slayers X truly is a throwback to the past. For players seeking a retro arcade shooter, all the ingredients are here but with added vulgarity and punk rock mayhem. This is never going to blow people away with its gameplay and visuals but it doesn’t care and I can truly admire a game that just wants to have fun. Whilst the story is forgettable, the soundtrack kept me wanting to replay levels just to hear those songs again. In a gaming world where developers are constantly trying to iterate and innovate, it is bizarrely refreshing to experience a game that is so old school. See you in the 90’s!- Movies Games and Tech

Although I will say that I had a good time with Resonant Blade, I had some issues that I feel like addressing. This might have been an issue on my end, but playing this game with a controller was a bit difficult. It played fine until I reached a certain point where I had to hold down a button. It was as if it was treating my keyboard and my controller as being active at the same time. From then on, I had to use a keyboard for the rest of the game (which wasn’t too bad to play on either). Thankfully, the developer is making constant updates to the game to fix issues. If you enjoyed this game or not, be sure to leave helpful feedback to the developer. Overall, I would recommend this game if you’re looking for a unique 2D action adventure game.- Movies Games and Tech

Overall, “DIG – Deep in Galaxies” is a solid game that provides hours of entertainment. The multiplayer system is a great addition, and the graphics are lovely. The roguelike mechanics keep things challenging and unpredictable, although the learning curve can be a bit steep for new players. The game can feel repetitive after a while, but the distinctive 2D landscapes and ecosystems of each planet make up for it. This game is definitely worth checking out, especially if you’re a fan of the roguelike genre or if you’re looking for a game to play with your friends. Just be prepared to die a lot and spend some time getting the hang of things. With a bit of patience and perseverance, you’ll be able to DIG deep and uncover all the secrets that this game has to offer.- Movies Games and Tech
