    As Far as the Eye is a fantastic nomadic base-building title with unusual mechanics. What's more, its tough learning curve is unfortunately off putting. However, if you can wade through the initial pain, you'll enjoy a strange and fascinating affair.

    Aesthetically a wonderful little title that has lots of features in there that I wanted to play of. Sadly, As Far As The Eye is hindered by a counter-intuitive controller scheme.

    You may struggle to get into As Far As The Eye as much as you want. The controls do not mesh well with playing on a controller and that’s a shame because the gameplay cycle is capable of creating a unique approach to the roguelike genre. It’s helped that the aesthetic of the game is phenomenal.
