If you’re familiar with indie horrors and have played many before, then this one is probably not for you. The game’s proportions of narrative and horror are heavily skewed towards the narrative with non-scary puzzle solving seated alongside it. I can see the many positives with Narin: The Orange Room and think that overall, it does deserve the positive reviews it currently has on Steam. It certainly is not the worst game I’ve played. On the flip side, it certainly is not the best either. Unfortunately, I think that’s just how things will stay too.

To sum up, Yakuza Kiwami 3 & Dark Ties is a real mixed bag. An interesting story, with great combat will entice new players to try this classic game. Sadly, muddled visuals, not enough new content and terrible animations drag the overall package down. Remakes are meant to be a vast improvement on the original and this has failed to deliver. As a standalone, I’m not sure if I can recommend this one. There are too many hang-ups for me personally. I think LinD2 hits the mark for what I can expect out similar indie horrors. However, I’m struggling to see what this one does that so many others don’t already do, if not better. There are probably better similar indie horrors out there, even as a non-player of indie horror myself. I know it must be difficult to make something that truly stands out. Simply put, LinD2 is decent for what it is, but I don’t think it will leave a lasting impression.

Ultimate Sheep Raccoon doesn’t reinvent the wheel, but it does put a fun spin on it. When it works, it really works: chaotic courses, driving rivals into madness and genuine “just one more race” vibes. But there are still rough edges: controls that can feel off, traps that lack depth, and a sense that the full creative promise is just beginning. If you’re into chaotic multiplayer fun and you’ve got friends ready to dive in, this is worth giving a shot — especially as the community builds its levels and ideas. I won’t deny that it’s an experience worth trying once, especially for those curious about experimental design. Slots and Daggers is one of those games that dares to gamble with its own ideas. It just happens to lose the bet somewhere along the way. So yes, play it for the curiosity, but don’t expect it to pull you back for another spin.

If you come to Bloodlines 2 purely for a moody, well-acted vampire story and some clever investigative beats, it’s worth the time. If you come for the old-school, systems-forward roleplaying that made the original a cult classic, you’ll have to make do with the first game. The mechanical scope has been narrowed, and the promise of freedom is more about moment-to-moment play than the long arc of building your unique vampire. In short, it’s a respectable vampire game with sharp writing and a few memorable moments, but it shouldn’t be wearing the “Bloodlines” badge.

I Mother is not a game for everyone. It’s slow, deliberate, and defiantly wordless. There are no skill trees or loot drops, no quest markers to follow. But for those who crave solitude, exploration, and emotional storytelling through atmosphere, it should definitely make it onto your list.

The latest installment of the Jurassic World Evolution series proved to be the best one yet, with the biggest roster of dinosaurs, a wide variety of attractions and buildings to place around the sites, along with some beautiful locations at the very heart of your parks.

Kaku: Ancient Seal is clearly aimed at kid gamers, perhaps those looking for a Zelda-like experience on their console of choice. I imagine that younger audiences will be very satisfied with Bingobell’s work, and older players may also find themselves hooked on the game’s various modes of progression or inviting visual design. Be prepared for some nagging performance problems, though if those don’t bother you, this is a great adventure to jump into.

Paw Patrol Rescue Wheels: Championship is a fun and simple child-friendly racing experience. However, it has some flaws when you race in split-screen. Hopefully, these will be patched and the game will flourish as a consequence.

Just Dance 2026 is great if you love the franchise. There is a nice library of songs to select and a new central hub to enjoy. Furthermore, the mobile phone controller system was an interesting concept. Although I'm not a massive fan of yearly franchises, this one does a nice job.

For players looking for something experimental and offbeat, Crazy HDC offers a glimpse of what could’ve been a great indie gem. But for anyone seeking depth, polish, or long-term replayability, it might leave you wandering the dungeon in search of more.

Despite some of the flaws of this game, I enjoyed my time with Daimon Blades. The combat felt great and fast-paced and I enjoyed the progress system. Much of my complaints about this game are things that I hope will get fixed on future updates to the early access version or the full game release. The is currently listed at $34.99 USD on Steam, so I’d understand if most would want to hold off on it till full release or sale. Regardless, if what I described sounded like it was up your alley, then show the devs some support and give this game a shot. If you’ve got a friend you could convince to get this game, it has multiplayer. All-in-all, I hope that this game continues to polish a lot of its rough edges till full release.

Fast & Furious: Arcade Edition is a fast and hectic racing game. It can be played alone or locally with another. Though I became tired of the shallow action, my kids enjoyed the simplicity and vibrant graphics.

NASCAR 25 is a good simulation, including multiple modes that, while similar in some aspects, let players experience the breadth of the racing experience. It’s not the most beginner-friendly product in the world, and I doubt that it will catch on with those outside the sport’s sphere of influence, but longtime fans should be satisfied with the offer on display.

Barbie Horse Trails is a wonderfully safe and vibrant child-friendly affair. It uses a large open world and simple tasks to encourage children to explore. Moreover, it is easy to play and simple to master. Though it isn't great for older children or adults, it is ideal if you have Barbie-loving children.

This isn’t a game that will appeal to modern gamers. The dated appearance and unusual controls will be a turn-off. However, if you are in your late 30s or older, you’ll enjoy the retro nature of this title. I think the developer has delivered a solid puzzle adventure experience, and The Order of the Snake Scale is an uncomfortable, but enjoyable jaunt.

Is Mamorukun ReCurse! for everyone? No. Is Mamorukun ReCurse! even for most people? Probably not. The game caters to a very niche audience with its gameplay and art style, but that shouldn’t take away from the fact that the package on offer is solid, and those who appreciate the genre will find it a decent addition to their collection.

Mortal Sin is the first dungeon crawler I have ever played, and I now have very high expectations for the rest. This was because of Its fun and addictive combat, appealing graphics and well designed enemies and areas, just to name a few. There aren't many games that I review which I want to go back and put more hours in, however with Mortal Sin I can't help myself but want to experience more of the fast-paced and bloody combat.
