Scorn offers us an original dreamlike universe in which we don't really want to live. The atmosphere is refined and supports beautiful images with an inspired artistic direction. It's not very long and will displease those who are looking for clear explanations, but, even if it could have done without its shooter side, it offers beautiful exploration phases. Moreover, it offers original environmental puzzles, most of the time presenting a real challenge to solve them, due to the absence of any help from the game.

It is obvious that players will ask for small adjustments and additions to be made on New World, but let's not forget that the game is making its premiere and that it is already very satisfactory for its debut. It has mechanics that will appeal to players who are tired of classic MMOs and they will find a variety of elements that are very relevant. Crafting is no longer useless: it is now necessary to have professions to have a viable game experience in late and end game. The world of Aeternum will be able to take players on a journey in a new MMO that should continue to grow in beauty over time.

Solo Leveling Arise is a game that has the potential to be a good one, but suffers from a lack of optimizations and a business model that will try to make you pull out the blue card in order to save a few options and time. Despite this, it does have a good combat system, pretty good graphics, a fairly high quality soundtrack and plenty of content, but it's a shame that this is spoiled by a few immediate details. However, if you really want to try it out since it's free, we advise you to turn to the PC version, in the hope that the problems will be rectified fairly quickly.

As a true sports game, Mario Golf: Super Rush will allow beginners and experts alike to have fun on the fairway and the green. With a very simple handling and game modes each more fun than the last, this new Mario will surely accompany you for many hours this summer and will add spice to traditional golf.

While waiting to see what season 2 of The Dark Pictures Anthology has in store for us, The Devil in Me closes the first one by bringing a few novelties and an interesting character. This episode is a little bit better, but it has a hard time renewing the series and, despite some improvements, it still suffers from the shortcomings of its predecessors, especially on a technical level. It is still attractive, with ordinary characters and a plot that is not very well written, but a serial killer and a Murder Hotel that have an effect, with, moreover, delicate decisions to be taken and jump scares that can make you jump.

For all its faults, Enotria: The Last Song is a pretty decent Souls-like, but it doesn't know how to use its ideas, which deprives it of any chance of standing out. Rather than promoting radically different styles of play, the configurations are limited to offering a little optimization at best. Combat balancing problems and its limited lifespan are also major black spots, in a genre rich in titles of far better quality, for a not-so-different price.

With Youngblood, Machinegames clearly had a card to play by offering co-op alongside their excellent reboot of the Wolfenstein series. Unfortunately, this spin-off stumbles by proposing an adventure stretched to the maximum — the fault of a superficial leveling system that forces players to chain 'fetch' side quests in order to access the scripted content, which is then limited to just five missions. A few good gameplay ideas, a more open level design (thanks Arkane), and a reduced price prevent Wolfenstein: Youngblood from being a shipwreck.

Rainbow Six Extraction is a good cooperative PvE game that takes the codes of Rainbow Six Siege. The stealth, the management of our agents, the difficulty encountered, the intelligence of the monsters and the strategy make it a totally different game and does not feel like a flat copy of Left 4 Dead. The gameplay could have seemed repetitive, but the worlds change so much that we don't get bored. Moreover, the progression system is also a factor. You quickly get a taste for the gameplay, which very often requires you to make decisions and thoughtful movements.

Demon Slayer: The Hinokami Chronicles is a fan service game, and it doesn't hide it. If you are a fan of the first hour then you will have no problem to dive into this adventure which mixes combat and narrative phases, all in the enchanting universe of the anime. For the others, the experience will lose a lot of flavor. The story mode is not always well-paced and the Versus mode is clearly not enough on its own. In the end, the game is mainly for fans of Koyoharu Gotōge's work.

Project Zero 5 is not a bad game: with its Japanese horror movie atmosphere reminiscent of The Grudge or the mythical The Ring, Koei Tecmo's survival-horror succeeds in immersing the player in its scary universe full of macabre stories and tormented spirits. Also, Gamepad is for once very well exploited with a Camera Obscura to be controlled directly with the gyroscope (or the sticks if you wish). Unfortunately, the numerous back and forths to do during the game and the general stiffness of the gameplay make the pleasure of the game fall very quickly, leaving only a nice adventure, but far from being memorable.

The Callisto Protocol is a title that will not disorient the connoisseurs of the genre with many features undeniably coming from Dead Space. Nevertheless, it remains in its own right with many innovative features. One thinks in particular of the infiltration phases that are reminiscent of The Last of Us and the combat system that is much more nervous than usual. Striking Distance Studios' latest game has a breathtaking technique that will be remembered, but suffers from a certain lack of creativity for its bestiary and the depth of the characters. Hopefully, the DLC will be able to improve the game's shortcomings. To let off steam and live a somewhat horrific experience, The Callisto Protocol remains a good survival.

Though not a masterpiece, Warhammer Chaosbane is not a total failure either. Due to its minimalist design (but well implemented), the title sinks especially on its execution by proposing content that is too light and rough contrasting with well elaborated classes. The game lacks ambition, and sometimes even finishing touches, which is unfortunate for a license with such great potential. However, all its interest undoubtedly comes from its multiplayer mode, which can be played by 4 players on the same support. It is therefore advisable to opt for the multi-player experience. After all, it is sometimes nice to remember that it is still possible to sit in front of a TV with friends and pizzas, to play together and have a good evening. And that's probably all the game is about here.

Mario and Sonic at the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games is a solid, although not revolutionary, party game. Its wide selection of events, its clean technique and its various types of gameplay, all very accessible, make it an ideal companion for a few successful evenings with friends or family. The real added value of this opus, the solo mode, is however a good idea poorly exploited, due to a excess of inconsistent dialogues, which break the rhythm and all the interest of this charming initiative.

Moons of Madness manages, through the atmosphere it creates and its soundtrack, to effectively convey the oppressive isolation of this team stranded on the red star and facing paranormal phenomenons where dreams mix with reality. The graphics, although not the sharpest, are well made. However, it doesn't really give us any freedom in terms of exploration and rarely manages to startle us. And for those looking for a fight, it's essentially a puzzle-game that shows in variety what it lacks in challenge.

The first few hours might be challenging if you're new to Dungeon-RPG. The gameplay and controls are completely different from the main games in the license, but Pokémon Mystery Dungeon Rescue Team DX is much more accessible than its original 2006 versions. Between a cute and colorful graphic redesign, and new options that make the game more dynamic, this new opus is a rather addictive success.

Milestone is bringing improvements and more content to its supercross game, but it's not sure that this will be enough to satisfy fans. As for the newcomers, they should not be discouraged by the title's demands. The career mode has been effectively revised, but remains rather classic like all the other activities offered. However, the track editor is quite convincing. Anyway, the sensations are there, it's a pity that the graphics are still from another era.

Daemon X Machina is clearly trying to replicate the formula of Armored Core, but it suffers from an uninteresting plot and weary dialogue. On the other hand, it offers a careful artistic direction and advanced personalization of mechas. Unfortunately, as the missions progress, Daemon X Machina loses its rhythm and the interest of players, due to too many similar objectives and a blatant lack of inventiveness related to the repetition of quests. It's a shame, too, as it's a title with such a beautiful color palette and controls that are so accessible.

The new Tales from the Borderlands, but keeps the Telltale spirit and dives into the crazy world of Borderlands with an effective, permanent, offbeat and enjoyable humor. We will certainly criticize the game's perfectible technique as well as its lack of real player involvement and challenge, but that's nothing compared to the moments of anthology it offers us. The characters not only have depth, but they are also beautifully interpreted. The game is full of funny situations, and many of its lines could become mythical. It is a real success in its genre.

If you want to refresh yourself and just have a good time without taking your mind off it, Rune Factory 5 is the game for you, even if the boss fights are not incredible and the game suffers from the technical aspect. Its substantial content and the possibility of being a real inhabitant in the city of Rigbarth while allowing you to farm the dungeons or capture the monsters will be strong arguments.

Marsupilami is a good entertainment, but it struggles to fully transport us to Palombia. Between its too short life span and its levels that all look the same, we expected much more "twists". However, the colorful universe and the gameplay associated with the genre make the game rather well adapted to the whole family.

With good intentions and interesting ideas, Espire 1 - VR Operative unfortunately doesn't live up to all its ambitions. If the voice control is effective and the gadgets appreciable, the enemies' AI is quite limited and the disturbingly easy fights are not worth being sneaky. Fortunately, the world leaderboard is there to remind us that the goal of the game is to be stealthy. The Control Theatre, on the other hand, has turned out to be disappointing and will probably be deactivated. If we appreciated the possibility of playing seated, the graphics are too bland and the collision system can be improved. At the end of the day, we get the impression that the developers lacked time and/or resources, and it's a shame.

Level 5 clearly had a card to play in offering a dungeon crawler for a younger audience, but unfortunately, Snack World is a bad draw. The title quickly becomes boring and despite a few interesting systems, the fun starts running out after a couple of hours. If you are a dungeon crawler enthusiast, keep moving, Snack World won't scratch your itch for exploration.

In the end, despite some big design mistakes, Recompile remains a very funny title that will offer a wonderful trip in a very colorful universe to its players. The flaws and the too great facility of the title are, without any doubt, compensated by its enchanting atmosphere and its more than pleasant game feeling. Far from being a must-have Metroidvania, Recompile will nevertheless be the kind of title that, although it doesn't offer anything new, will keep a small place in the memory of the players who will have the courage to launch into its adventure.

Soulstice is a beat them all with excellent gameplay and we can thank the duality of possibilities offered by Lute and Briar for that. The story is mysterious and transports us for about fifteen hours into a tragic story. Nevertheless, we deplore some technical defects, the layout of some levels or arenas, as well as the third-person view which may put off some people.

We're still wondering why Capcom didn't make its new multiplayer title free-to-play from the outset: its early-access content and the presence of a store and a premium combat pass leave no room for carelessness when it comes to the product we're holding in our hands. And despite a catchy concept and cool exoskeletons to hold in your hands, Exoprimal doesn't manage to be interesting for more than a handful of hours, the time it takes to see its 3 maps and take part in the rare original events it offers. It's a big waste of money, and we really don't recommend buying it as is.

Whether it's the number of weapons or maps, the quantities are more than enough for the release of Battlefield. It is rare to change weapons; once you find your "heart" weapon, you never let go of it, except for a few exceptions. Battlefield 2042 has a bright future ahead of it due to the developers' complete coverage of the game for a full year. If players feel that there is a lack of content, remember that seasons will bring new game modes, new maps, but also new specialists. Hazard Zone and Portal mode are a welcome boost to the license, and it's great to see that Battlefield is still able to deliver new and exciting content.

MotoGP 21 is not bad, but we have the impression to go backwards. It certainly brings some additional elements like the management of the temperature of the brakes or new penalties of exit of track, as well as all the riders and circuits of the championship, but it remains quite bland. It's still a reference in motorcycle racing simulation, but it's lacking. And the graphics haven't really evolved. Milestone even emoved the history mode without offering anything else instead. An opus which, despite its qualities, seems a bit too lazy. This annual upgrade is clearly dispensable.

The studio in charge of reviving MediEvil, Other Ocean Interactive, did nothing more than the bare minimum. The graphics are beautiful and the work done on the lighting is wonderful, but we are quickly faced with a gameplay from another time. The hero's movements is sometimes erratic and the camera can be very annoying. Still, Sir Daniel Fortesque, champion of King Peregrin, lord of the kingdom of Gallowmere is one of the most lovable (anti)hero of the first generation PlayStation. Against all odds, the gargoyles jokes, the overall creativity and the brilliant music allow us to have a good time.

Without being the most exciting, original or accomplished rogue-like of the genre, Gwent: Rogue Mage nevertheless offers a recipe that works, all in the familiar universe of The Witcher. Players who like the modern recipe of CD Projekt Red's TCG, but prefer to play solo, should enjoy it for a while, especially since its price is really modest. However, the alterations made to the gameplay may put off some players, and it quickly feels like they are doing the same thing over and over again.

Finally, although Sonic Colors Ultimate is a very dynamic game and very pleasant to play, it still suffers too much from the flaws of the original game as well as from the various problems specific to Sonic 3D games. In spite of a handling that should certainly be reviewed, the game offers interesting gameplay elements as well as a particularly attractive artistic direction. But this new edition does not offer any real interesting novelties. Moreover, the game suffers from major technical problems on Switch.
