While the new version makes the game more accessible, offers more depth on the domain's management and a small but not marginal graphic facelift (notably sunlight management). It is unfortunately counterbalanced by the main character models being sometimes less polished, a catastrophic display of nights and a rather embarrassing bridle of the experience. This version is recommended for those who could not play the original game. However, the PC version is highly recommended, at least for the 60 FPS availability.- MGG

Cindered Shadows is everything we expected from a Fire Emblem Three Houses DLC, turning the Season Pass into a great deal with its new characters, new classes, and tough battles. It removes the flaws of the main campaigns to give us a condensed version of intense battles and story, with enough new features sprinkled on top of it to extend the game experience an average of ten hours. If you plan to replay campaigns later on, its price is entirely justified.- MGG

Crying Suns is a striking and fascinating game in many ways, which offers an epic journey through the stars that will satisfy a while the fans of space tactics and science fiction with its rich and dark story. It's a pretty good game, but it lacks the elements that would make it a good rogue-like, the ships and their gameplay are too similar, the crew choices are unnecessarily restricted, the events are repetitive and predictable, the game blocks us to the last chapter of the story, etc. It will be necessary for the developers to review all this so that it can reach its full potential.- MGG

With Concrete Genie, Pixelopus gives us a visually impressive body of work. It offers the player the opportunity to become a true artist, letting their imagination run free in a magnificent world. Ash becomes very endearing in a very short space of time, and sometimes even manages to move us — we come to have compassion for this little artist who seeks to make friends and be free. Thanks to the presence of the Geniuses, we never really feel alone in this chaos — these little beings are a real success. The only things we were disappointed with were the length of the game and its replay value.- MGG

Visions of Mana is a good game that follows in the footsteps of its predecessors with brio, featuring action-packed combat and an interesting storyline, even if the set-up leaves little room for surprise. Nevertheless, it succeeds in taking us on a journey through its richly colorful universe, thanks in particular to a fine soundtrack and its diverse environments. And if you're still in doubt after reading this review, don't hesitate to try out the demo, which is free and will enable you to form your own opinion.- MGG

Samurai Warriors 5 is a successful return to the basics of the license after a Dynasty Warriors 9 that had completely disappointed the players. Koei Tecmo offers a game that will not leave fans of the genre unmoved, while proposing interesting new features, a very complete roster of playable characters, a wide range of usable weapons, two very solid game modes and a lifespan that exceeds 100 hours of play. We will forgive its technical inequalities, even if it is time to move to the Next Gen and to offer a game with big ambitions while keeping what makes the essence of Musou games.- MGG

Warhammer 40000: Boltgun is a nice retro FPS that takes elements from 1993's DOOM by making the fights more nervous and in a recent packaging, which makes it enjoyable to play. Nevertheless, you shouldn't ask too much of it, because basically, it's just about liquidating dozens of enemies in a succession of arenas. Only for the trigger-happy.- MGG

All in all, Dead Island 2 is an excellent surprise and a must-have for all the fans of the genre, that seems to us undeniable. And if, despite its rather minor problems, Dead Island 2 can lose credibility at first sight, there is no doubt that its important strong points will make you forget these small details as you progress in the game. The work done in many respects is colossal, and you feel it throughout the progression. A very good game that we highly recommend!- MGG

Faithful to its ancestors, Ghosts 'n Goblins Resurrection is a difficult and intense game that will require you to die many times in order to progress. Hordes of traps and ruthless enemies will ask you each time to find and then apply a viable strategy to make your way to the next level. All of this combined with the character's unique, even dated, handling makes it a game for an audience who knows what they're getting into. Even though the magic system, checkpoints and cooperative mode make the title more accessible than its predecessors, it still requires a great deal of patience and perseverance.- MGG

Reigns: The Witcher is a solid addition that will appeal to fans of the franchise looking for a little game to play during their downtime. It's fun and surprisingly rich, with interesting combat that is optional depending on the gaming experience you're looking for. It's a pleasure to see the characters from The Witcher in a different context, with a wide variety of narratives to choose from. Apart from a few clumsy moments in terms of overall balance, the game's real flaws lie in its mobile-friendly interface and a lack of ambition in its execution.- MGG

A frightening and unpredictable horror game that will even startle regulars horror fans. You simply can't stop playing Song of Horror until you see it to the very end. You have to anxiously find clues, solve riddles and most importantly avoid The Presence in order to fully unravel the storyline. Whether you are a detective in the making or a jumpscare enthusiast, Song of Horror was made for you. Adrenaline, stress, fear, anxiety... You have come to the right place.- MGG

Tangle Tower is above all a game carried by its characters. Zany and reminiscent of Cartoon Network archetypes, they represent — with the artistic direction — the power of the game. After the surprise of discovering puzzles, they turn out to be easy and end quickly. The game is designed for mobile devices with its short sessions, and unfortunately will not satisfy lovers of puzzle games. However, it could be a good choice for novices.- MGG

With Budget Cuts 2 - Mission Insolvency, Neat Corporation corrects many of the points criticized in the first opus such as bugs, loading times or very infrequent check points, and adds some diversity in the settings. Stealth remains fortunately the core of the game, and the translocator is still great, but we regret that free movement hasn't been added. As for the bow, it works, but would benefit from a more relevant focus. Unfortunately, we still don't have a body and there are some clipping effects in the portals. However, even if some details can still be improved, Budget Cuts 2 provides a good sequel and consolidates a license that could last.- MGG

Far Cry 6 is not a bad game, far from it. We have to admit that the scenery of the island of Yara is exotic and the story around Antón Castillo is rather interesting. However, the recipe is starting to run out of steam. The few new features are not enough to make up for a huge but cruelly empty map. As for the scenario, it quickly becomes a bit stale, with quests following one another without really managing to keep us in suspense. Nevertheless, if you want to dive into the heart of the guerrilla war with a friend, and not Chorizo, note that the game becomes much more fun with two players.- MGG

Phoenix Point stumbles and fails its release, which has obviously been rushed. Although it's currently full of bugs and balance issues on many levels, the game has great potential that will eventually shine and make it a game of choice for aficionados of the genre. The gameplay is ambitious and deep, with a combat and management system that can be very satisfying. In addition, the diplomacy feature is a rare strength, even if the current content doesn't encourage you to take full advantage of it yet. We advise you to wait a little before buying Phoenix, as it will most likely be improved soon.- MGG

In addition to clearing up a few gray areas, Kingdom Hearts: Melody of Memory provides a good overall summary of the entire series in an entertaining way with their very effective rhythm game. The Theatrhythm gameplay mechanics have been cleverly adapted to the 3D transition, and the excellent soundtrack will surely seduce music fans. However, we regret a taste of déjà vu regarding the overuse of the series' scenery and the readability sometimes confusing. Finally, the new story, far too light, does not justify such a high price.- MGG

Persona 5 Tactical is a good little tactical game that should please fans of the licence, as well as gamers looking for original gameplay. It could also appeal to those who regret that Mario + The Raving Rabbids is exclusive to the Switch. Some of Persona 5's strengths, such as its music and cast, can be found here, although the Chibi design, linear progression structure and lack of ambition in the story greatly limit its potential. Waiting for a promotion to get your hands on it seems to us to be the wisest option.- MGG

In the end, Back 4 Blood is indeed Left 4 Dead 3 under a different name, trying to recover the magic recipe that made the success of the two previous installments, without ever managing to surpass them. Indeed, the absence of a real versus mode on the campaign coupled with the fact that its scenario is less engaging make it a good game, but not a very good one. We won't neglect its hyper fun and bloody side which will delight a good number of players who will play it in co-op and especially with friends. As for the players who want to try it alone, we advise them to pass their way because of the lack of fun linked to the catastrophic AI of the bots.- MGG

With its graphics and its turn-based gameplay, Cris Tales is very attractive, especially since it is enhanced by an appreciable soundtrack with various tracks. The dubbing in VO is also of good quality, even if it sometimes tends to break the rhythm a bit. It's a pity that the animations are a bit stiff and that the software suffers from some lags during the fights. The latter, although pleasant, are also a bit too easy and frequent, giving a feeling of exaggerated repetitiveness. On the other hand, the title has a good lifespan. The presence of unmarked enemies and the recurrent loading can also be criticized. Nevertheless, even if we would have appreciated a more mature story, it is pleasant to follow and the gameplay playing with time works very well.- MGG

Full of good intentions, Soul Hackers 2 never really convinces: its limited gameplay and redundant environments make it an experience that shows its limits very quickly, and it should take you a couple of hours before you get to the bottom of it. Lovers of Japanese turn-based games can still try their luck to fill a hollow tooth, but it doesn't offer anything substantial enough to quench their MegaTen thirst.- MGG

Princess Peach Showtime! is a real show designed to have fun from start to finish. By playing all the main roles, young and old will find their account without getting bored even if the Switch exclusivity suffers from some latencies, a little long loading time and not very interesting boss fights. All in all, this new Mario will convince you if you need a light, colorful and entertaining adventure to consume in a few hours. The variety of levels is a real plus since each room offers a unique decor and as many treasures to find.- MGG

Very stylish and with high-quality staging ideas, Romeo is a Dead Man is nevertheless a merely adequate game that we would find difficult to recommend wholeheartedly. Despite everything, beneath this thick layer of flaws, Grasshopper Manufacture manages to convey a kind of touching sincerity that makes it impossible to be completely angry with it. A video game B movie that is as frustrating as it is endearing.- MGG

After a very nice first chapter, One Piece Odyssey gets bogged down in a tiring structure that multiplies the back and forth to excess, with numerous narrative cuts that chop up the rhythm of the adventure. The completely out-of-touch combat balancing finished convincing us that Bandai Namco's JRPG didn't have much interesting to offer, except for a few convincingly staged cutscenes. Nevertheless, it is a game that is just neat and addictive enough for hardcore fans of the cult manga to enjoy.- MGG

Mafia: The Old Country suffers from the same problems as its predecessors. It's halfway between a narrative game and an open-world action-stealth game, but without the means to achieve its ambitions. We end up with uninteresting stealth sequences and implausible combat that undermines the credibility of the story. The world map serves only as a tourist attraction devoid of any activity. It's a shame, since the plot and characters are interesting, even if they don't escape the clichés typical of the genre. Nevertheless, it remains a beautiful glimpse into Sicilian society at the beginning of the last century, with high-quality production values.- MGG

Chorus is an excellent space combat game with ships that, although it doesn't stand out in anything, it fulfills all its aspects. And that, on many occasions, is better than being overly ambitious and that penalizes the final result. We especially highlight its combat system, which is arcade and simple for all tastes; as well as its narrative, which from the beginning gives off a special aroma, and keeps us hooked as we progress.- MGG

STALKER 2 Heart of Chornobyl is a difficult, immersive and often frustrating game. Few compromises have been made, making the gameplay as brutal as the universe in which it takes place. Progress is slow and painful, especially with the many bugs present, while death can be as sudden as it is unfair. It requires a solid dose of patience, but it has to be said that exploring the area is well worth it, with all its dangers and mysteries that we try to unravel. The tools and interactions at our disposal are far too limited. This reduces gameplay and options to the bare minimum, sometimes destroying the immersion the game has worked so hard to build.- MGG

Gears of War Reloaded is undoubtedly the best version to try out this iconic saga of its genre. And while we may regret a certain ease in the formula proposed by The Coalition to bring Epic Games' game up to date, a certain laziness even to be more blunt, it remains a very good game to discover in Game Pass. We highly recommend it... but probably not at the price it is offered outside of Game Pass: graphics filters at the price of full games, enough is enough.- MGG

Whether you like the new "chibi" art direction of the Pokémon Diamond and Pearl remakes or not, you have to admit that a lot of fans will be happy to see the Gen 4 back on Nintendo Switch. Despite a lack of real new features and some flaws in the graphics, it's a real treat to be able to play again this iconic game with good tech on the Switch. Especially since (re)discovering Sinnoh is a great way to remember the area and better enjoy the return to the past with Legends Arceus.- MGG

Need for Speed Unbound surprises with its graphic style inspired by street art. But the characters look really cheap. The cops are a bit too sticky, so the title offers an appreciable challenge with an efficient risk-reward concept, and a great soundtrack. We would have appreciated less limited winnings on the races to quickly buy real cars, as well as being able to play with a cockpit view, but that didn't stop us from enjoying driving, with the desire to go back each time.- MGG

Disgaea 6 Defiance of Destiny is finally here and the wait was worth it because we find ourselves with a good Tactical-RPG full of references and humor. Although the story is not monumental, we will enjoy discovering it in the company of this young zombie and thus learn the secrets of the Ultra-Reincarnation. From a gameplay point of view, if you like tactical-rpg, you won't be too confused and you'll be able to hang on. In case you are not used to the genre, it can be a good entry point in this kind of RPG with its cartoon or even manga/anime style. On the other hand, it is important to know what you are getting into, because Disgaea is a license that will require you to farm for hours, and even if this one facilitates it, Disgaea 6 remains a game where farming is the most important part.- MGG
