A frightening and unpredictable horror game that will even startle regulars horror fans. You simply can't stop playing Song of Horror until you see it to the very end. You have to anxiously find clues, solve riddles and most importantly avoid The Presence in order to fully unravel the storyline. Whether you are a detective in the making or a jumpscare enthusiast, Song of Horror was made for you. Adrenaline, stress, fear, anxiety... You have come to the right place.

Tangle Tower is above all a game carried by its characters. Zany and reminiscent of Cartoon Network archetypes, they represent — with the artistic direction — the power of the game. After the surprise of discovering puzzles, they turn out to be easy and end quickly. The game is designed for mobile devices with its short sessions, and unfortunately will not satisfy lovers of puzzle games. However, it could be a good choice for novices.

With Budget Cuts 2 - Mission Insolvency, Neat Corporation corrects many of the points criticized in the first opus such as bugs, loading times or very infrequent check points, and adds some diversity in the settings. Stealth remains fortunately the core of the game, and the translocator is still great, but we regret that free movement hasn't been added. As for the bow, it works, but would benefit from a more relevant focus. Unfortunately, we still don't have a body and there are some clipping effects in the portals. However, even if some details can still be improved, Budget Cuts 2 provides a good sequel and consolidates a license that could last.

Far Cry 6 is not a bad game, far from it. We have to admit that the scenery of the island of Yara is exotic and the story around Antón Castillo is rather interesting. However, the recipe is starting to run out of steam. The few new features are not enough to make up for a huge but cruelly empty map. As for the scenario, it quickly becomes a bit stale, with quests following one another without really managing to keep us in suspense. Nevertheless, if you want to dive into the heart of the guerrilla war with a friend, and not Chorizo, note that the game becomes much more fun with two players.

Phoenix Point stumbles and fails its release, which has obviously been rushed. Although it's currently full of bugs and balance issues on many levels, the game has great potential that will eventually shine and make it a game of choice for aficionados of the genre. The gameplay is ambitious and deep, with a combat and management system that can be very satisfying. In addition, the diplomacy feature is a rare strength, even if the current content doesn't encourage you to take full advantage of it yet. We advise you to wait a little before buying Phoenix, as it will most likely be improved soon.

In addition to clearing up a few gray areas, Kingdom Hearts: Melody of Memory provides a good overall summary of the entire series in an entertaining way with their very effective rhythm game. The Theatrhythm gameplay mechanics have been cleverly adapted to the 3D transition, and the excellent soundtrack will surely seduce music fans. However, we regret a taste of déjà vu regarding the overuse of the series' scenery and the readability sometimes confusing. Finally, the new story, far too light, does not justify such a high price.

Persona 5 Tactical is a good little tactical game that should please fans of the licence, as well as gamers looking for original gameplay. It could also appeal to those who regret that Mario + The Raving Rabbids is exclusive to the Switch. Some of Persona 5's strengths, such as its music and cast, can be found here, although the Chibi design, linear progression structure and lack of ambition in the story greatly limit its potential. Waiting for a promotion to get your hands on it seems to us to be the wisest option.

In the end, Back 4 Blood is indeed Left 4 Dead 3 under a different name, trying to recover the magic recipe that made the success of the two previous installments, without ever managing to surpass them. Indeed, the absence of a real versus mode on the campaign coupled with the fact that its scenario is less engaging make it a good game, but not a very good one. We won't neglect its hyper fun and bloody side which will delight a good number of players who will play it in co-op and especially with friends. As for the players who want to try it alone, we advise them to pass their way because of the lack of fun linked to the catastrophic AI of the bots.

With its graphics and its turn-based gameplay, Cris Tales is very attractive, especially since it is enhanced by an appreciable soundtrack with various tracks. The dubbing in VO is also of good quality, even if it sometimes tends to break the rhythm a bit. It's a pity that the animations are a bit stiff and that the software suffers from some lags during the fights. The latter, although pleasant, are also a bit too easy and frequent, giving a feeling of exaggerated repetitiveness. On the other hand, the title has a good lifespan. The presence of unmarked enemies and the recurrent loading can also be criticized. Nevertheless, even if we would have appreciated a more mature story, it is pleasant to follow and the gameplay playing with time works very well.

Full of good intentions, Soul Hackers 2 never really convinces: its limited gameplay and redundant environments make it an experience that shows its limits very quickly, and it should take you a couple of hours before you get to the bottom of it. Lovers of Japanese turn-based games can still try their luck to fill a hollow tooth, but it doesn't offer anything substantial enough to quench their MegaTen thirst.

After a very nice first chapter, One Piece Odyssey gets bogged down in a tiring structure that multiplies the back and forth to excess, with numerous narrative cuts that chop up the rhythm of the adventure. The completely out-of-touch combat balancing finished convincing us that Bandai Namco's JRPG didn't have much interesting to offer, except for a few convincingly staged cutscenes. Mafia: The Old Country suffers from the same problems as its predecessors. It's halfway between a narrative game and an open-world action-stealth game, but without the means to achieve its ambitions. We end up with uninteresting stealth sequences and implausible combat that undermines the credibility of the story. The world map serves only as a tourist attraction devoid of any activity. It's a shame, since the plot and characters are interesting, even if they don't escape the clichés typical of the genre. STALKER 2 Heart of Chornobyl is a difficult, immersive and often frustrating game. Few compromises have been made, making the gameplay as brutal as the universe in which it takes place. Progress is slow and painful, especially with the many bugs present, while death can be as sudden as it is unfair. It requires a solid dose of patience, but it has to be said that exploring the area is well worth it, with all its dangers and mysteries that we try to unravel. The tools and interactions at our disposal are far too limited. This reduces gameplay and options to the bare minimum, sometimes destroying the immersion the game has worked so hard to build.

Gears of War Reloaded is undoubtedly the best version to try out this iconic saga of its genre. And while we may regret a certain ease in the formula proposed by The Coalition to bring Epic Games' game up to date, a certain laziness even to be more blunt, it remains a very good game to discover in Game Pass. From a gameplay point of view, if you like tactical-rpg, you won't be too confused and you'll be able to hang on. Steel Division 2 succeeds in its challenge of being more complete, epic and tedious. The Army General mode is the biggest addition, and is challenging enough that it should keep strategists on their toes for a while. It was a good idea to adapt Dragon Ball Z in a game that was not only based on combat, but also on the adventure aspect. In addition to playing Goku, being able to play other Z Warriors while customizing their attacks and traveling through the rich universe offered by Akira Toriyama's work is quite fun. Unfortunately, the poor execution and the large but superficial content greatly spoil the enjoyment. The side quests are basic and uninteresting, so we'll tend to focus on the main story. Luckily, the soundscape, the cinematics and some fight scenes make up for it, along with the fidelity to the original work. The generic story takes itself way too seriously while making us betray its message is easily forgettable. The basics are present, and there's still stuff to do that'll keep you busy for a while. You might even be able to have fun by thinking outside the box, but it's probably not worth the detour.

With an inspired art direction and a rich universe, GreedFall is a quality RPG with rich and engaging content. However, it's not free of defects, especially in its production, animation, and graphics. We also lament a freedom restricted by invisible walls and a lack of varied movement (such as jumping or swimming), as well as battles that could have been more intense. However, all this fails to dampen the pleasure we had in travelling in search of secrets, or in constantly showing diplomacy to satisfy each party.

If NFS Heat won't be able to convince with its overly easy gameplay, as well as an almost indestructible vehicle capable of shattering everything, others will be satisfied with the simple pleasure of repeated slide-downs and the sensation of speed, ignoring the simplistic side of the game. The graphics could have been better, but the rendering is quite pleasant, especially in motion. There is a whole range of vehicles and a neat soundtrack as well as extensive customization, all without loot boxes. The two sides of the game, day and night, have been successfully implemented and alternate nicely, especially since it's possible to play with the police in urban races once again.

The Switch version of Resident Evil 5 is quite a surprise. Indeed, based on the console versions released in 2016, it has nothing to be ashamed in terms of graphics and suffers no slowdown. Very complete, it also comes with the two scripted extensions as well as the Arena and online multiplayer modes. We can however blame it for its very dated gameplay. It's heavy, it's slow and it's not maneuverable. The gyroscopic aim set up by the Day One patch remains fun at first but is really not practical. The local co-op is still as nice as ever, but it needs to be tested on a TV and with two controllers, as the Joy-Con doesn't allow all kinds of movements, especially the camera ones.

Completely free, once you get past the skin system, Everstone's title combines the combat of Sekiro with the exploration of Genshin Impact, incorporating MMO components that suit it perfectly. However, it's far from perfect: poor translation, the usual F2P retention mechanics, a lack of overall polish... The experience is good, certainly, but definitely not for everyone.

The story is quite good and effectively mixes three eras, but we will probably have to redo the game several times to fully understand it. Unfortunately, the Curator's Cut that seduced us in Man of Medan is unfortunately no longer on the menu. Nevertheless, we spend a "pleasant" moment in the middle of repulsive creatures and we now await the third episode with curiosity.

Despite a limited content and an almost non-existent scenario, it offers a good moment of relaxation based on energetic confrontations requiring a little concentration. This is sometimes spoiled by a complicated readability of the fights due to a not very well placed camera. Nevertheless, if you're looking for a good fast-paced romp where you don't have to take yourself too seriously, it should be able to satisfy your needs.

The formula is identical, with the only difference being that this time, the adventure is experienced by two players. This twist isn't necessarily executed in the best way, as the co-op aspect doesn't make a huge difference to the game, with puzzles that are fairly easy to solve. Due to its minimalist design (but well implemented), the title sinks especially on its execution by proposing content that is too light and rough contrasting with well elaborated classes. The game lacks ambition, and sometimes even finishing touches, which is unfortunate for a license with such great potential. However, all its interest undoubtedly comes from its multiplayer mode, which can be played by 4 players on the same support. It is therefore advisable to opt for the multi-player experience.
