It's nothing sort of a miracle that Square Enix has managed to transform the original Final Fantasy XIV in this beautiful, packed full of content and enjoyable MMO. Sometimes it´s a bit too classic and safe in its design, but the result is excellent. Naoki Yoshida and his team have reasons to be proud.

Half-Minute Hero is one of those strange proposals that gamers will find in the market. Fun, with four different gameplay styles, with tons of jokes and the parody of using a 8-Bits visual engine to make a bond with the past of the genre - this's definitely a game you cannot let go without giving it a shot. Bayonetta 3 is an action adventure that seeks to surprise in the variety of options and situations. It maintains the excellent combat of its predecessors and adds the summons as a great claim: more spectacular but also less challenging. When we fight with the witch of Umbra or with Viola - her phases are great - everything goes smoothly and it is the delivery we expected for rhythm, variety and quality of weapons, as well as some interesting advanced mechanics for higher difficulty levels. But the game falls short in many of the new proposals that are interspersed, from uninspired puzzles to minigames, going through sequences or combats that are too simple and not very dynamic. With all this, the fact that its predecessors set the bar very high does not hide the reality: this is a very good game and an essential for Switch.

The original Arkham City is a great game, so it would have been pretty hard for this version to ruin that. Relic tries to renew the genre with the sequel of the well known Dawn of War universe. This new iteration features deeper gameplay, focused on the action. Dawn of War II does not include the classic base management, and replaces it with a direct control on the evolution and level progress of your units. A good title packed with a poor multiplayer map array, being one of their problems. A great game that achieves to represent the perpetual war on the 40th millennium.

PES 2009 on the PS2 continues to be the benchmark in soccer games. Its gameplay and multiplayer fun are unrivaled. It still inherits the classical flaws from the series and it doesn't include the Champions League licenses its next-gen brother has, but it is the best option to recreate a soccer game nevertheless. It is obvious that the machine can no longer provide further improvements.

A game only possible thanks to the PSN. Different, unique, completely different from what we are used to seeing in our consoles. A beautiful experience, with a really nice soundtrack, great gameplay and, overall, a pleasure for the users. Main problems: too short, and extremely linear. But it's worth it.

Alien: Rogue Incursion arrives as one of the best virtual reality experiences in a year, this past 2024, full of great VR titles. The setting is everything in the new Survios game - creators of other VR games such as Creed: Rise to Glory or The Walking Dead: Onslaught -, completely immersing us in what could be a new and terrifying story set in the canon universe of the 'Alien' saga, with a duration that can easily stretch to six or eight hours, depending on whether or not we thoroughly explore each level and its secrets. It offers an attractive mix of exploration, puzzles and unbridled action, all seasoned with a constant feeling of claustrophobia and extreme survival. In addition, visually it is quite a feat within the current virtual reality landscape despite the occasional setback in terms of animations or the position of the enemies in relation to their environment. The definitive 'Alien' experience reinforced by an increasingly established and effective virtual reality.
