Assassin's Creed Chronicles India should have improved China's ideas and China's gameplay. But there's nothing really new in this second installment. The game is nothing better, nothing prettier and it still carries some very irritating problems.

If the base concept of Extinction is quite trendy at the moment (climbing on giants and slicing everything), the game fails in most respects with a highly repetitive gameplay, an empty story and no really memorable game mode.

The first hack'n'slash game on 3DS, Heroes of Ruin can easily be forgotten. With its cheap graphics, and its universe and narration lacking of originality, the title developed by n-Space won't represent this kind of game that hardly finds success on handheld devices. Some players could play Heroes of Ruin to train themself, but only if they have enough money to spend.

Specially made for YouTube and Twitch, Daylight carries the legacy of Slenderman and Amnesia. Dark visuals, first person view without any form of self-defense, gloomy and nerve-racking atmosphere: everything's in it. Among all those banalities, Daylight has something very uncommon: the random generated levels, which is the strength and the weakness of this game, as it can't be fully mastered from a rhythm point of view.

Ugly, bugged and repetitive, Deadpool can become enjoyable one you unlock all the upgrades. The only question is will you play it long enough to unlock those?

As of today, Fallout 76 feels more like a rushed game that turned out to be a failure than a true member of the Fallout family. If the whole feels broken, there is potential, and after months (or years) of patches, it could become a good option for Fallout fans.

With inspiration taken from What Remains of Edith Finch or The Vanishing of Ethan Carter, The Suicide of Rachel Foster is clearly sub-par relative to those games, to the point where it's difficult to recommend it for any reason, even if the story isn't that bad.

Crimson Dragon will probably hit its public among the fans of Panzer Dragoon, who will enjoy the old-school gameplay and atmosphere. On the other hand, gamers who just bought an Xbox One to experience new things or at least awesome graphics are in for a big disappointment: Crimson Dragon could have been an Xbox 360 game. That was the initial plan before it was delayed to the next gen system. In spite of a good artistic lead, the graphics are quite poor, the levels are very short and the railed cam is coming from another era. Happily, for 20€, the RRP of this digital exclusive stays quite reasonable.

With an economic model which is not very user friendly to the point that we suspect the game was designed with micro-transactions in mind, Project Spark won't be saved by its bugged content or its complicated UI.

You were expecting a mix of L.A Noire and project Zero? Forget it, there's nothing to see and Murdered Soul Suspect clearly misses the spot. It's even more sad because the game had a good script and a nice environment. Sadly, the developers didn't make enough out of the police/ghost mix. but the main drawback of the game is it's gameplay specially the infiltration parts. From there everything seems disappointing, from an average graphics engine to its dull OST and the boring QTE, Murdered: Soul Suspect won't leave many memories.

Metroid Prime: Federation Force is an average game but it's not as bad as it was expected by fans and gamers all around the world. The multiplayer part is a nice feature that works very well in spite of the lack of challenge and you'll find some good ideas in the game design and the boss fights. But of course, it's hard not to take it as a cheap try to make a Metroid game.

Berserk and the Band of Hawk could have been the new Dragon Quest Heroes or Hyrule Warriors. Even if they were far from perfect, those two wanted to do something modern with classic musou gameplay. Instead, Berserk falls in the same category than Fist of the North Star.

Mario & Sonic at the Sochi 2014 Olympic Winter Games leaves us unsatisfied, even with its not so big ambitions. Even so, there is no excuse for this permanent lack of precision and this very inappropriate latency. Ice hockey and curling will probably make you smile, and graphics aren't that bad, but those are almost the only arguments the game can have.

New chapter of Sega's ten years long series, Super Monkey Ball : Banana Splitz comes in on PS Vita. A new console for a new concept? Not really. Indeed, it's difficult to differentiate this episode from previous ones. Same gameplay mechanics, same characters, and in fact same problems. Of course, Super Monkey Ball: Banana Splitz contains many mini-games, approximately 100 levels and online play, but the game is unable to drive the player to endure a dangerous lack of originality.

Difficult to be enthusiastic about this new compilation of Namco's games, because there are two problems. First of all, the selling price is too high and the choice of the games are not very interesting. Forget about it and save your money.

Defiance suffers from a number of small problems that could be fixed with a patch. With countless bugs and the lack of a cover system among others, Defiance fails due to its youth rather than from really bad development quality, lots of good concepts and ideas thrown in the game - but most of those are so badly used. For now in the state of a promising beta, Defiance is still an average MMO that lacks player interactions or a Third Person Shooter with a linear gameplay and lots of bugs. The price to pay for an MMO with no monthly subscription? We were expecting more from the studio that made Rift, moreover when that game costs 50€ plus the season pack which make it a very expensive beta.

We thought that Tintin was going to return to video games successfully, but the game is failing badly. With its complicated launch, Tintin Reporter Cigars of the Pharaoh is a game that can be forgotten. And it's not just the technical problems, but also its shaky, poorly chosen and totally childish gameplay. The rare moments of action in the 10/12 hours of adventures are undoubtedly the least successful, with a graphics engine which is unfortunately not adapted to the situations. The inertia of Tintin (but also of Snowy) is completely lacking, the animations are cut to pieces and the game is sorely lacking in dynamism. It's soft, it's boring and it becomes problematic, especially the infiltration phases coming from another time, at least 20 years ago. Here too, Pendulo Studios proves to us that apart from point & click gameplay, the studio seriously lacks the expertise to render epic sequences.

Mario & Sonic at the Rio 2016 Olympic Games carries the same problems than Sotchi in 2014 : this 3DS version suffers from its too many experimental gameplays. All of them are not of the same quality. Some are barely correct as others are real nightmares. Really not enough to get a true replay value.

Sonic Boom: Shattered Crystal is not that bad. Not as bad as the Wii U version anyway... But it's not really brilliant either. To be honest, the game from Sanzaru is rather well-realised and easy and precise to handle. But it becomes boring quickly: the four characters and the three kinds of levels available can't hide a real lack of good ideas.

Voluntarily old school, both in its feeling and in its structure, the title developed by the South Koreans fully assumes its status as a basic shooter. Thought as a tribute to a period when video games were simple, it can sometimes be compared to a shoot'em up where shooting and moving continuously is highly vital. Too bad, however, that its very uneven realization prevents it from living up to today's standards.

NASCAR 14 is a game solely made for the hardcore fans, if you're not fond of stock car racing avoid this game which tops boring gameplay with some truly appalling graphics. You drive in circles for hours while avoiding the sidewall with the steering as your only past time. With no need to use the gearbox or the brake, you can only imagine what you're left with during the 400 laps of a race, and it's not the trash grindcore soundtrack that will keep you awake. On the other hand, if you love NASCAR and think that F1, WRC, Endurance racing or DTM is for hipsters, Eutechnyx's title is what you want thanks to its immense content and the race atmosphere's fidelity.

If The Franz Kafka Videogame has some appeal, overall, the vast lack of content makes it look more like a smartphone enigma game, rather than a real PC game as you can beat it easily in under 2 hours.
