If Shenmue 1 & 2 are still great games, this so-called remaster is barely a lousy port, with plenty of bugs and and technical problems. The only improvement is 1080p display and a few new content, but overall, Shenmue 1 & 2 HD doesn't deserve your hard earned cash.

The King's Bird tries to be Gris, but the poetic aspect is ruined by a lack of accuracy in the gameplay, a weird way to unfold the story and huge peaks in difficulty.

As a huge fan of Lego games, I've been disappointed by The LEGO Movie Videogame. Of course the title aims at seducing young fans of the film, but is it a reason to ruin the content and the direction? Of course we find humor, platforming riddles and stuff to collect which became the renown of previous titles, but the result is not quite as enjoyable. If we limit ourselves to the bad direction, the crappy music, the bugs and lags will still be enough to displease most achievement hunters. But even the content of the game sucks, fewer characters than usual, a light life, easy progression. As it seems it's not that easy to make a good LEGO game from a great LEGO film. Next try in 2017 with LEGO the movie 2!

Mario Sport Superstars is a low-ambition compilation, created with light versions of games already released (Mario Tennis Open, Mario Gold World Tour) and some new trials, from the very bad baseball to the refreshing horse races.

After a sub-par XXL 2 remastered, we hoped Asterix & Obélix XXL 3 would be a vast improvement, but we were wrong as the gameplay still insn't satisfying enough, with a fixed camera and many other problems.

To be honest, buying Resident Evil Revelations in 2017 on PS4 or Xbox One is a waste of money. The remaster work is incredibly light, leaving the game with appalling graphics and a very old-fashioned gameplay.

If you are a fan of most Japanese manga ip's, forget about J-Stars Victory VS+ which is mainly a cashpump with licensing but that's it. The technical side is a mess and the gameplay is far from average. Only recommended to the most hardcore of otakus.

Call of Duty Black Ops 7 sadly highlights the limits of a franchise that once defined multiplayer FPS excellence but now feels exhausted by its relentless annual cycle. Rushed production is obvious: the single-player campaign, once the series’ emotional core, is chaotic, blending robots, zombies, mutant plants, and hallucinogenic gas, with no checkpoints, no pause, and mandatory online connection. It’s less a true solo campaign than a co-op multiplayer dressed up with a few cutscenes...The endgame is equally disappointing: flat maps, weak enemy AI, and powers that quickly lose appeal make it feel shallow compared to ARC Raiders or Battlefield 6. Multiplayer is uneven, innovations like wall-jumping and omni-movement can be fun, but cramped maps, frantic action, and unbalanced mechanics drag the experience down. Some modes, like Surcharge, bring strategy, and removing SBMM helps, but they can’t mask the lack of real evolution...Zombies mode expands combat and maps but remains forgettable, while Dead Ops Arcade 4 is just a fleeting diversion. Black Ops 7 isn’t unplayable, but it’s rushed and uninspired. Die-hard fans may enjoy a few sessions with friends, but most players will likely turn to more polished competitors like Battlefield 6 or ARC Raiders.

Just Dance 2018 is clearly a game to forget as it's merely a copy of the previous games in the series, but we can only notice the drop in quality that goes along whether it's the dull playlist or the uninspired dance moves. A textbook case of badly recycled content.

We expected a disappointment and Ace Combat Assault Horizon Legacy + fulfilled its targets. Being able to use the C stick and adding bonus skins pack with the amiibo clearly wasn't worth it. Especially when the game carries the same problems with it.

Agony is a true journey through hell from the narrative standpoint as from the gamer's standpoint. If the hellish vibe is very good, the game is a mess in almost every other respect, from its limited gameplay to its truckload of bugs.

Pokémon Super Mystery Dungeon carries on with the same problems, spite of some new features that don't really make the game's core change. Too slow, too repetitive: all right, it's a game meant for the kids, but it doesn't have to be boring.

Tales of Hearts R is a clear drop in quality from the two Xillia episodes. The graphics are far from what the PS Vita is capable of and what more can we say about a remake that's clearly worse than the original? Sadly Bandai Namco's title is unworthy of your time despite an enjoyable combat system.

Sonic Forces is clearly on of the biggest duds of the year. In spite of some good graphics, the gameplay is very poor and all the content seems to be recycled from old Sonic games. Today, Mario must be laughing out loud.

Goat Simulator is mostly a big gaming joke, and we'd love to love it. But it needed to be free, or really cheap. With a 10 euros price tag, players can ask for more. As the creators of this UFO said earlier, "you should probably instead buy a hula hoop, a pile of bricks or a real goat".

Chocobo GP is not armed enough to compete with Mario Kart. Beyond the limited number of circuits, it is above all their failed design that makes racing boring. The driving also lacks finesse and the races become a real mess. It's not enough to place items and vehicles on a track for the magic to work; it also takes a good dose of mastery to find a good balance, something that Square Enix will never have been able to find.

StarFox Zero is torn apart between traditions and modernity, here embodied by PlatinumGames. Both were probably compatible but Nintendo's will to make the GamePad something essential to the gameplay mechanics definitely kills all the other good ideas around.

Once upon a time, Dimps was known and respected for the Dragon Ball Z: Budokai Tenkaichi series, that introduced a revolution in fighting games. Since then, the studio has created bad games, up to the point where we wonder if the same team is still working in the studio. Saint Seiya : Brave Soldiers never reaches the seventh sense, stuck with a bad realisation and a gameplay that shows its limits after two hours. Bandaï Namco's Game gained in dynamism and is much more spectacular than the PS2 episodes, but still, as one of the last games of the PS3 we expected better. The fanboys will enjoy the 60 characters and the OST but that will be their only sweet spot.

In Way of Samurai 4, players will find the gameplay elements that made the second episode so successful, but with a new sensation of liberty. If the story had clearly some potential, Acquire couldn't drop some of their bad habits linked to Tenchu, proposing an adventure full of bugs that unfortunately hides major ideas and a good atmosphere. Two positive points, followed by a realistic gameplay experience with sabre, that yet won't be enough to forget its main flaws.

Even if it's just a port, Dynasty Warriors 8 Xtreme Legends Complete Edition deserved more. We could talk about enhanced visuals but the game is really far from beautiful. The battles are dynamic and the cast is huge. But it's not enough to see it as a gathering episode.

To tell the truth, we don't know what's sadder in this Suicide Squad Kill the Justice League. The desire at all costs for Warner to have his Fortnite with the DC overlay? That Rocksteady hasn't been able to transcend the experience despite its pedigree? That the story of this game is set in the same universe as Batman Arkham? No matter, this Suicide Squad Kill the Justice League is, whatever happens, a huge waste, because in everything it tries to do, it never manages to convince. Probably because no one believed in this project, because many changes were made during its production and because this game was made under duress, and not from the heart.

Doom 3 BFG Edition is an expensive game that won't easily find buyers. Admittedly, the pack proposes a lot of stuff such as Doom 3, Resurrection of Evil, The Lost Mission, Doom et Doom II. However, the "enhanced" part is not as good as it should be. The original game and its expansions did get really old despite their new support for 3D and the introduction of a checkpoint save system that won't revolutionize the gameplay.

Honestly, London 2012 - The Official Video Game of the Olympic Games is not the blockbuster you were waiting for. This feeling is justified by bad graphics and gameplay mechanics that won't help players breaking records. So what's good in the gam ? Some events are fun to play and a pretty good game lengh could offer an interesting experience. However, after Beijing, we were clearly hoping for something better.
