The atmospheric pixel based visuals with dark fantasy vibe are pleasing to the eyes. And the challenging boss battle represents the unique tension of Souls-like. However, the balance of weapon upgrade system and the overall tension of the game collapse simultaneously after the second half of the game.- INVEN

In 'High on Life', 90% hilarious joke in the entire game is barely but surprisingly well held up by the 10% gameplay. It may be a good choice for the weekend if you are a fan of Justin Roiland. But the lack of localization in certain languages has somewhat demerits the charm of Xbox Game Pass in terms of accessibility.- INVEN

A Rogue-like deck building game that you can enjoy with simple controls. You can taste the joy from randomness and the importance of choice even though there are only two buttons to interact. However, the game tends to focus solely on the charm of simplicity without stories or encounter event, making the entire experience a bit shallow.- INVEN

It could have ended up with a boring, old-fashioned 3D platformer. However, the features for SpongeBob fans somehow turned the game's outdated style to feel like an old-school. If you can indulge in the series' humor and SpongeBob's new look, you will find some classical fun with this game.- INVEN

The game shows unique Korean art style combined with modern touch in overall graphics including character design. And that serves as an excellent condiment to enhance the joy of exploration, which is a virtue of Metrovania game. While the classic Metrovania style gameplay is appealing, there are many shortcomings such as rough manipulation, bugs, strange hit detection, key settings etc.- INVEN

A strategy game based on Paul Verhoeven's 1997 film. The fundamental element of dealing with countless alien bugs is well displayed, as well as the 19 chapters long single play campaigns are satisfying, whereas everything else is lacking. No multiplayer and unable to play other factions makes you don't have to play it again.- INVEN

A classic game platform designed faithfully to give you the nostalgia that you have at the arcade 20 to 30 years ago. Its approach to create a new experience rather than just a gaming platform was great, however the price of individual games feels too expensive comparing to those days. Also, it is sad that the platform doesn't support multiplayer.- INVEN

It is still an enjoyable experience where you can build your own frontier with a relatively easy system. However, the entire process to win the game is too long and boring to aim for a shift to a competitive RTS. It is not easy to motivate the frontier exploring since pretty much all activities are for just military buildup.- INVEN

In the positive side, Time on Frog Island is a very easy and relaxing game. However, it also can be mean that it has shallow game play. The game surely has a wonderful, deep background scenery, but it feels like they didn't make a good use of all of it.- INVEN

A Valkyrie series transformed from a turn-based game into an action. While this changed system itself is not bad, terrible camera work is ruining the overall experience. More to that, repetitive gameplay structure and mediocre story are also disappointing. Don't have much choice but to look forward to a better Valkyrie title in the future.- INVEN

The game depicts the veteran soldier's mental rehabilitation process with well decorated watercolor arts and cute characters. Even without too many mandatory quest lines, it fluently delivers the entire story of the main character and others. However, disastrously uncomfortable UI/UX and instability of the game ruins the aftertaste.- INVEN

A title that feels incomplete in every perspective. At least the Vampire hunting was a good experience, but only the boredom and stupid AI are the ones that fill the hollow open-world. On top of that, a lot of bugs and insufficient optimizations are making the experience even worse.- INVEN

A sequel that unravels the series' story with increased characters on the new planet. Except for the poor character modeling, which has a plenty of room for improvement, the game will deliver a memorable experience for those who would like to go on a story driven journey to Mars on their weekend.- INVEN

The House of the Dead remake is characterized by a faithful embodiment of the elements of the original. However, it does not reproduce the sophisticated manipulation and immersion, which are characteristics of the gun shooting genre, so it stays in the remake as a rip-off of the original, not a remake beyond the original.- INVEN

A fighting game spin-off that basically turned into a full-on dating sim with cute girls. The graphics and presentation really capture the whole dating vibe, and the game's well-designed so you can easily follow the route you want. It's just a bit of a shame that the photo-focused, static setup doesn’t quite show off how lively the character models could be.- INVEN

It is an attractive game with a unique narrative that unfolds in the smudgy, Lo-Fi Style and sloppy but tight gameplay. However, options that are not accessible enough compared to the previous game and dizzy structure that some clues are meaningless make the game feels more empty than ever.- INVEN

The Last Oricru tried to balance its design between in-depth narratives of CRPG and Souls-like heavy action. On top of that, a world that is a mixture of myth, science and magic is also compelling. However, it becomes frustrating when you realize the shortcomings of Souls-like (no maps, no explanation) and the element of CRPG that every action affect the ending does not make a good synergy.- INVEN

A tactical turn-based game without randomness and covers. While it's attempt to diverge from the path of XCOM is commendable, the lackluster story, monotonous gameplay, and content composition remind us why XCOM remains the king of turn-based tactical games.- INVEN

If you want to make your own robots and make them fight monsters, pay attention to Mech Armada. This turn based strategy mixed with rogue-lite feature gives you a room to try various tactics. Even though the depth of strategy is pretty shallow, the entry barrier is also low enough so that anyone can enjoy.- INVEN

Although there is a room for arguments, Scorn's art design seems properly portrayed the original intention of the game. It is also fun to digest the ending as the way you think. However, intuition-dependent puzzles and insufficient combats can make players easily quit the game before ending. The combination of checkpoints and dysfunctional combat is the scariest part of it.- INVEN

Puzzles using divers, deep-sea and possession succeed to increase immersion in early game. The atmospheric monochrome graphic and heart-warming soundtracks are also unforgettable. However, the puzzles are a bit too much simple and repetitive, as well as the narrative seems to fail keeping the tension till the end.- INVEN

A plausible recipe, regrettable ingredient, and miscooking. Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League does, in fact, offer attractive gameplay and storytelling. However, an obsession with the directionless open world and adherence to the legacy of the Arkham series are the elements that ultimately ruined the game.- INVEN

It has received high expectations from many fans, but it falls far short of surpassing the previous game that was created over the course of 10 years. Irrational matchmaking, lackluster content, and a UI that is unmatched in its inconvenience all raise concerns about the future of the Payday series itself.- INVEN

The attempt to expand the "Dead by Daylight" universe with Supermassive's unique touch was a promising idea. The mysterious worldbuilding of Control and Remedy’s signature presentation still shine through. However, repetitive mission structures, sluggish progression, and a steep early-game barrier make this surreal stage feel less captivating. While the fresh gimmicks and cooperative elements offer clear appeal, the game needs both stronger early engagement and more lasting motivation to truly stand out.- INVEN

OVERLORD: ESCAPE FROM NAZARICK excellently recreated original characters into pixel graphics, as well as having good vibes and sound. While It is a metrovania with okay-ish battle and exploration features, unreasonable rewards and monotonous battles make the game a bit boring. A Batman family that couldn't get out of Arkhamverse's shadow. The game design structured around Co-op shows a lack of motivation. So many problems with monotonous combat, empty Gotham city, insufficient hero abilities, optimization issues and so on. A screenshot of Gotham city from photo-mode is the only thing that comforted me.- INVEN
