This game generally falls within the category of a decent ARPG. The combat feels satisfying, and the progression system provides a rewarding sense of growth. The main quest and especially the final chapters deliver plenty of excitement. the characters’ narratives lack intrigue, and there are aspects that may disappoint fans of the series.

The game inherits the unique points of its previous series, both in good and bad ways. It is true that you can easily find out several elements were recycled in the map and enemy designs, but doubled volume compared to the previous work and impressive main story line is compensating those issues. While the newly added "closing eyes" function plays an important role in the story, there seems much space for improvement in the actual system.

In game design wise, 'Fobia' is a great homage to the classic Survival Horrors such as Resident Evil. While the action part against the monster is rather sloppy, the hotel's level design and terrifying atmosphere are quite impressive.

The game contains challenging battles to match the RPG genre (even most of them were pretty easy), a graphic that can catch the essence of the Anime's exaggerated expression and the story of the past that the Straw Hat Pirates of present look back on. However, the worst conveniences can make you quit the game before you even experience them.

The game catches your eyes with over 150 road construction puzzles, comfy visual and sweet jazz rhythm. Beginners can also enjoy puzzles without stress thanks to its powerful hint system. However, there are not so many sub contents beside the narratives and records.

The positive influence of games related to protecting endangered animals. While the concept of games that restore the natural environment is impressive, the weak interactions, repetitive and short volume make it difficult to immerse and enjoy.

It's like a fine dining set for puzzle fans. But it's unsatisfying in that its limited reward systems does not motivate gamers to play repeatedly.

A game that shows efforts to lower the entry barrier of action games. Thanks to the friendly aim assistance, the game enables you to perform great action without difficulty. However, somewhat repetitive combats with same monsters and overall volume of the game, vague main stories are the ones that could have been better.

An intense gameplay from fast phased souls-like combat, as well as visuals and scores that complete the dark fantasy worldview, are definitely a satisfactory. However, some of the elements such as insufficient accessibility functions and unclear map composition are still preventing players to immerse themselves.

Though it may seem like an homage to the famous Japanese title, Soulstice is an action game with its own interpretation of the genre and gives a different type of joy. Its splendid visual and crisp action control enhance the overall experience. However, dizzy and limited point of views with repetitive backgrounds are the ones that hinder the immersion.

A horror game that shakes people's mind even without common jump scares. A crazy world-view where cuteness and grotesque coexist and solid storytelling became key spices to add the fun to its gameplay. However, monotonous puzzle and complicated action seem to not blend well with its horror element.

An animated film-like video game for fans of the series. The newly added 'open zone' system turned out to reveal more flaws than advantages, but the franchise's unique, high-speed action is well expressed. While the solid character settings and story for fans stand out, graphics quality that are hard to believe it's out in 2022 need to be improved.

The latest title in the NFS franchise came back with fresh visuals. While driving on the road without any concerns and making to the top of street racing are always fun, even the lowest 'relaxing' difficulty seems not so relaxing for those who trying to enter the franchise for the first time.

Mecha BREAK is a game that has emerged like a beacon of hope for fans at a time when new releases in this genre are rare. It's a relatively low-stress PvP shooter that can be enjoyed casually, but there are still many aspects outside of the gameplay that need refinement.

Limbus Company is an attractive game with a deep-dark concept world with characters with alienated nature. While personal tastes may differ, it delivers decent sound, visual and story as well. However, the game surely need for improvements in things such as frustrating grinding, complicated combat, uncomfortable and unfriendly UI/UX and so on.

An open-world pirate adventure from Ubisoft that exemplifies both the strengths and weaknesses of the studio. The graphics capture the atmosphere of the pirate era, and naval battles with ship maneuvering are excellent. However, the entire map, filled with boring, lackluster content, is not enough to compensate for the seven-year wait.

A rope action puzzle based on the idea of a frog's tongue to its fullest. Sophisticated laws of physics on various situation make it fun to manipulate at the right moment and overcome the challenges. However, there will be lots of retrials due to unnatural controls and character development also has a room for an improvement.

Last Epoch is a quarter-view ARPG designed for genre enthusiasts who may have grown weary of games that are either too easy or too difficult. While the game proves itself by providing immense core gameplay built over its five-year early access, the unstable online server and the worst-ever Korean localization hinders the overall experience.

You can now enjoy Lunar: Silver Star Story and Lunar: Eternal Blue in a single title. While there aren’t major visual upgrades, the cleaner presentation, still-impressive animation, and added battle speed options make for a much smoother experience. Though many aspects of the game feel dated, for those with fond memories, it’s like the heart-fluttering feeling of meeting a first love all over again.

Though there are some shortcomings that almost all aspects are predictable due to its adaptations from the past, It is certain that the developers wanted this way. It turns out, light was not the only thing that has fallen in this new expansion. With disappointing story, the campaigns even feel like they were created for the fun of developers, rather than players. While these letdowns still interfere with overall immersion of the game, at least the new ability and revamped system are holding the expansion precariously.

The essence of a true B-grade game returns. Beneath its off-kilter weirdness lies combat that strikes at the core of action itself—distance control and psychological pressure. The title may insist you should ‘let it die,’ but ironically, it’s a descent into hell that makes you fight to live more desperately than ever.

This is the game that makes you forget about the absence of the new HOMM series. It shows attractive pixel graphics and packed with variety thanks to the strategic elements that were not in previous HOMMs. However, UI and somewhat insufficient map design needs to be improved. If they manage to overcome some shortcomings, you may not have to play HOMM3 anymore. [Early Access review]
