An awkward fusion of dating simulation and action. Though the attempt to combine two vastly different genres at opposite ends of the spectrum was innovative, it does not seem to manage a seamless integration. The dating simulation part was surprisingly better than expected, ironically leaving a sense of disappointment.

Pacific Drive successfully reinterprets the core of the survival genre, centered around the bond with your station wagon. While the POV driving mechanics and the anomalies often provide relentless, occasionally exhausting challenges, the game still retains a charm that makes you want to take the wheel once again.

Amnesia: The Bunker focuses on horror element while it relieves the burden of storytelling side. The overall ambiance of staying together in the bunker with mysterious monsters in the dark is well suited. In particular, the creepy sound effects such as monsters' howling and echoes in the cave did a great job holding the tension throughout the game.

A refined Team Ninja's action met an open-world experience. While the story unfolds like a grand drama of Japanese history, the limited impact of player choices is a drawback. The inclusion of sensitive real-life figures and the system for building rapport with them may justify the cancellation of the official release in Korea.

A huge improvement over its predecessor, also with new gameplay mechanics. While the story of young Jedi and adventure through vast, open fields both delivers captivating moments, slight frame drops here and there on the PS5 version may detract the overall experience.

While the game functions well enough thanks to its proven system and solid foundation, it still shows some shortcomings in various aspects. These can be understandable considering it is still in pre-season, but the game needs to demonstrate something significant in the next update to prove its long-term service potential.

Project Tachyon stays true to the roguelike formula, challenging players to adapt to randomly generated environments and loadouts. While the unbalanced weaponry and predictable enemy patterns are noticeable drawbacks, the game shines in its replayability, offering adjustable difficulty settings that cater to different skill levels.

The revival of the legendary 'Wii Sports'. It seems they successfully reflect the company's color. The addition of multiplayer and Pro Rank system allows players to indulge into the game alone, while the competitive system is also simple and easy to challenge. However, it is noticeable that the single play contents are less than the previous title and some games are not easy to fall into.

Warpips is a kind of strategy game that everyone can enjoy quick and easy. The game provides short and intense gameplay, and the bloody battle between soldiers in voxel graphic is also fun to watch. However, It seems necessary to diversify tactics and prepare for multiplayer for long-term gameplay due to the shallow combat system.

An attractive title with the combination of surreal 3D scene and beautiful 2D artwork. The story created by Shelly Chen is somewhat unclear. And this vague story makes it easier for players to resonate their own experience. However, the game can leave much to be desired for those who would like to enjoy a completed story.

An attractive action game that you don't have to worry about reloading the gun. The participation of Yasuhiro Naito, who created the original character design, resulted in an attractive reincarnation of Grave. While the game has various combat gimmicks that spice up the battle, a story that you may not follow if you are not familiar to the original IP and repetitive stage composition may be felt awkward for some players.

A simulation game focused on the peoples' life, rather than the world destroyed by climate change. Simple UI and tutorials completed with unique art seems suitable for beginners of the genre. However, resource limitations and bugs that sometime feel unreasonable make it difficult to head to the later part of the game.

A traditional SRPG which strategy and tactics are its key. It seems like the game deliberately chose the serious, heavy vibe over flashy visual. The game's graphic based on reality is surely a different, charming point among other anime-style SRPGs out there. However, that kind of seriousness can make someone to feel the game is too heavy, difficult to immerse in most characters or the story itself is too monotonous.

“Life is a tragedy when seen in close-up, but a comedy in long-shot.” Charlie Chaplin’s words capture Black Ops 7 in a single stroke. The campaign disappoints when viewed as a traditional Call of Duty experience, but if you set your expectations aside and view it simply as a co-op experience, it goes down a bit easier. Meanwhile, its multiplayer endures, drawing players back with reliable run-and-gun pacing and solid gunplay.

A Tower Defense setup that you have to survive by treating food to aliens. The game boasts innovative gameplay and unique concept with the addition of automation and roguelite features. However, the random elements, difficulty, and gameplay mechanics are a bit far from smooth combination.

A well-crafted suspense game that cleverly weaves urban legends and social media into its narrative. While it lacks complex detective puzzles or interactive elements, the subtle hints and foreshadowing make it thrilling to piece together the story and see if your predictions come true.

A game built on what could be considered the most powerful IP in existence, it carries an almost sacred and reverent tone. Presented from a first-person perspective that follows the life of Jesus Christ, the game falls short of fully encompassing the breadth of the Bible, with a relatively short playtime and some rough edges in its execution. However, it succeeds in conveying the kind of world Jesus sought to create, as well as the core of his teachings.

It is impressive that the game combines the exploration of the meticulously crafted underwater world with a message of environmental protection. But, it's a bit disappointing that the main story was not easy to immerse due to bugs scattered everywhere, even though it is the core content of this game.

The latest title in the Kingdom series, reconstructed in the retro vibe of the 80s. Visuals and musics resemble the scene from the 'Stranger Things' are quite attractive. Though it is a bit regrettable that the overall system is similar to the previous game, and the amount of content is a bit too short except for the addition of fellow NPCs.

Thymesia will be a good choice if you are looking for a souls-like game with an interesting combat system. The game tries to differentiate itself with unique combat, which is nearly impossible to take a rest for a moment. And the execution system also feels great in your hands. Except for battles, however, You are going to need patience for its lack of stories and the overall volumes.

While the cheerful combat with cool parkour moves were exceptionally fun, Forspoken has been lacking in so many ways for players who have endured its delay announcement for twice. All those cute cats fill Frey's room only serve to double the loneliness that is already been full in Athian world.

A game that neatly solves the problem of existing SCP games, entry barriers. Even those who are not familiar about SCP foundations can understand and enjoy the main story. While Visions of Mana presents a fantastical world brought to life with vibrant colors, the story's lack of depth makes it difficult to fully immerse oneself in the game, and the slow combat tempo and repetitive sequences until the mid-game are drawbacks. It is certain that the game creates an eye-catching mood by infusing 18th-century French Revolution and Automata into Souls-like gameplay. The game well supplemented its organized action and growth gimmicks for those who are not well aware of Souls-like games. However, you will eventually notice that the game is far from perfection when there are frequent frame drops, bugs and some loopholes that are hard to see in other Souls-like games.

This is the game that makes you forget about the absence of the new HOMM series. It shows attractive pixel graphics and packed with variety thanks to the strategic elements that were not in previous HOMMs. However, UI and somewhat insufficient map design needs to be improved. If they manage to overcome some shortcomings, you may not have to play HOMM3 anymore. [Early Access review]
