World Tour offers a ton of great additions to the Guitar Hero series. The GHstudio and Create-a-Rockstar mode are a real treat, together with all the minor improvements made to the key concept of the game. It’s even better than its main competitor Rock Band 2, because of the great track list, and the fact that players are given the chance to actually create music to a certain level.

Final Fantasy XIII is a big and impressive adventure that manages to push the genre in the right direction. The characters, battle system and the story are all great. The fact that there are parts in the game that are unnecessary long and boring is to bad, still FFXIII is the one of the best RPG’s of this generation.

Resistance 2 is a worthy successor. The single-player-campaign is action packed and the game contains more than enough different weapons, as we’ve come to expect from Insomniac. Tiny Tina's Assault on Dragon's Keep is a slightly eccentric combination of a bunch of elements that usually can't be mixed. Tina's fantastical reimagining of the main story from a multi-functional role: it's an ode and parody to all sorts of geeky things, gives more insight into the characters of Borderlands 2 and critiques average game design. The gameplay of PES 2018 is put together amazingly well. Again, this is a game PES-fans will definitely enjoy. We do miss the usual suspects: licenses, modes and commentators.

This is a shooter that will make any bad mood fade away instantly. It does not matter if you'd rather play on the zombie side or the side of the flowers; both will offer fun new characters that will grant you many hours of multiplayer fun. The campaign is a bit short, so in a next game we would like to see more of that.

This games makes us feel nostalgic about the genre and fairy tales in general. Even if we do not let the nostalgia get to us, this first episode is a very strong game. It has the vibe of big, forgotten adventures and we cannot wait for the second episode to release.

This game uses Kinect as it was meant to be used: it is technically amazing, and it takes you to another world in which not your brain, but also your body plays a big part. The game is funny, the puzzles are smart and that makes the shortness of it a bit of a let-down, in a positive way though.

The Prince returns, and does so with a fresh new style, a phenomenal game world, and in stunning visual detail. The addition of Elika is a nice touch, but takes away some of the initial challenge in the game. The fact that you can’t die is a real shame, but the choreographical fighting mechanics keep the gameplay interesting and fun, and turn Prince of Persia into a small masterpiece.

The Tomb of Sammun-Mak is a really fun episode. The switching between the movie reels adds an extra layer of depth to the puzzles and the story is a lot better than in the first episode. Sam & Max: The Tomb of Sammun-Mak gives promising prospect for the episodes to come.
