With the music of Hans Zimmer and the cinematic scenes, you're sucked into the game and spit out after you’re done. The single player is rather short. It will take you about six hours to beat the game, but you get an intense and memorable ride the entire time. The game seems to be a little scripted, but it isn’t annoying for everyone. The multiplayer isn’t annoying at all. You can play for hundreds of hours without being bored. The Spec Ops mode extends that with fun for two. If you ever played a shooter and liked it, buy this game!

Still addictive as ever, but very little has changed. The official Champions League is a nice addition, but it lacks the German teams and up-to-date player selections. Improved A.I. and shorter loading times justifies a new purchase, but don’t expect a much different game from last year.

Everyone with a soft spot for Dragon Ball Z will embrace the video game. It's not the most complete Dragon Ball game ever, but it does feature all the big characters and storylines you'll remember of the Z universe. The camera is very sloppy and will cause quite a bit of frustration, the music is pretty annoying and last but not least: the game hardly does anything new (again!). Although Dragon Ball: Raging Blast isn't great, it still is entertaining enough to ensure many hours of fun.

PES is far from perfect, but if the ball starts to roll and two players are competitive to each other, you start to believe in PES again. Konami is pushing this game in the right direction and let us hope that Konami stays on this path. PES stays PES, and FIFA stays FIFA. For a true sandbox game on a handheld you should not get C.O.P. A large open world doesn’t make a game with the same quality as Chinatown Wars. No, C.O.P. is simply boring because the story is not interesting, there is little to do in the environments and that what remains in the game is just to repetitive.

With more players on the couch the game comes to its full potential, but at the same time it could be very chaotic on the screen. But if you take your time to glide on a massive pile of blood, all will be quickly forgotten.

Tropico 3 is a difficult, but never an unfair game. Is your financial plan in order, then the political problems will rise on the table, and vice verse. You can never rest and stay on guard for new problems to solve. Before you can solve every problem in the right way you might be a couple of games further. That’s also because of misplaced buttons and options. It is a little downfall on the ‘build your paradise’ game that despite of those small problems, shines like a tropical sun on a usually bright day in paradise.

If you drive round after round, to add that one Lamborghini to your garage or beat the time of yourself and others, this is probably the game to get. On the technical side Gran Turismo PSP is a real eyecatcher and it is a job well done by Polyphony. The character creation is massive and for MMO standards unprecedented. The classes on the other hand, are a little bit boring, certainly till level 10. But the way the story is presented makes up for a lot. The climax is Abyss where PvP is pushed to a whole new level. For the PvE players among us Aion might be the right MMO to go with.

Although the extras aren't that interesting and you see the loading screens a bit too long, the PC-version has a lot of positives sides as well. And the way you control the game is perfect, and it does contain some extras as well. Resident Evil 5 is a much more polished game on the PC, that makes everything looks a bit better than on the console.

Heroes Over Europe is a stripped down game and will be fairly forgotten with all the great games coming out this fall. Only the die-hard WWII and airplane fans will find this a great game to fly with the Spitfire or the Messerschmitt. The rest of the world will find this game very disappointing and probably won’t be interested. The missions are mostly the same and aren’t very exiting. The Ace Kills can be taken out of the game, and the game is not very pretty.

Marvel Ultimate Alliance 2 is pretty fun to play, but if you played the first installment, you could get disappointed. The game has a lot of heroes, but since you can switch between them whenever you feel like it, you won’t create a personal connection. The story also comes in short compared to the comics. However, it is still really cool to fight against all the different enemies, especially with a friend on the couch!

There is a whole lot of potential inside Scribblenauts, but the game never fulfills its promise to the fullest. It is an incredible achievement that you can come up with countless solutions to the different puzzles, but the poor way Maxwell responds to your commands frequently ruins your creative solutions. Therefore, you will only enjoy the game when you accept the fact that frustration and creativity are inseparable in Scribblenauts.

There is so much to tell about Mario & Luigi: Bowser’s Inside Story, but words can’t come close to what is so special about this pearl of a RPG. The only thing not so great about this game are the long fights, but that is compensated by the funny dialogs and the action packed fighting system. It’s a good choice to give Bowser a place in the spotlights, because steeling the show seem to fit him very well. It is the comeback of 2009!

The Beatles Rock Band has become a very solid band-game. The game brings a unique and happy visual style, that offers a interesting setting for a wide audience. In fact it’s the ideal game for some father and son time. The tracks of the game are very entertaining, although some “click” with the Beatles music might be necessary.

If you don’t put the cute ninjas and animals under a magnifying glass, you can see a great game underneath the happy exterior . The graphics are ok, and you can see IO has tried to put down a Japanese style for the game. The gameplay is throughout the game pretty much the same thing and a lot of challenge you wont find. But in the end Mini Ninjas is a simple and entertaining game.

IL-2 Sturmovik is the most realistic flight-simulator on the consoles. Although it misses some appeal of a top-game, it has very profoundly controls and beautiful graphics. Give this game a shot if you’re a hardcore simulation fan or if you just like to see old planes.

Colin McRae: DiRT 2 is a beautiful product. The game has left the old school rally feeling to put in a little more show driving. As a race purist i think it’s kind of a misery, but at the same time, i enjoyed it very much. The game looks awesome and it gives you a perfect rally feel. Thanks to the flashback, you never have to redo a match again. A must have for every race fan.

Soul Calibur: Broken Destiny is more then a nicely worked-out fighting game. The graphics are great and the total look is neat. The modes of the game aren’t in line with the rest of the game, the “Gauntlet-mode” for instance. We can’t believe that the developers think of this as a mode that’s fun to play. The nicely worked-out fighting system, the short loading periods and the ability to customize a gigantic load of character’s made our day while playing this game.

Neversoft has delivered a very impressive game with Guitar Hero 5. They have finally cleared al the errors from the previous games and put something extra in the game instead. With a very nice tracklist and the new improvements, Guitar Hero 5 is one of the best music games ever made. The only bad thing about Guitar Hero 5 is that you can not completely import the tracks from Guitar Hero: World Tour and Guitar Hero: Smash Hits.

Cursed Mountain has some really worked out aspects, but isn’t delivering a good quality on every front. It’s a game that you could hate after a while but has some unique perspectives at the same time. Cursed Mountain is a trip for a good eight to ten hours, if you don’t have any problems with the controls and linear maps.

Dissidia: Final Fantasy has become a very interesting fighting game. The game possesses a lot of characters in which you can play a very long but not that interesting plot. The fighting in combination with the leveling-system is very entertaining, but the annoying camera and story plot doesn’t give it the shine to the game that it should have. On the other hand, the fun you have with this game is a lot more meaningful then the camera issues. That’s why this game deserves a worthy grade.

There is put a lot of afford in Professor Layton and Pandora’s box. The cutscenes are beautiful, the story is nifty and the puzzles are challenging. The game does look a lot like its predecessor, almost every type of puzzle we’ve seen in the first game, is also in Pandora’s box. This game is just bigger, better and more badass.
