Tokyo Jungle is as crazy, weird, bizarre and unique as you've ever dreamed. The game has some rough edges and can be a little monotonous at times. Yet Tokyo Jungle is without a doubt an unique game that can't be missed. It's not everyday you get the chance as a gamer to make your pet dog the king of the jungle.

After years of carefully sculpting and expanding, EA finally managed to take the last hurdles. The goalie and the referee are near perfection and the AI has been much improved. This results in an incredibly realistic and dynamic game. Sometimes the pace is a little bit too fast, but with all the improvements that's easy to forgive. We get why Messi is on the cover this year; only the world's best footballer of the world's best team is worthy of the world's best football game.

LittleBigPlanet on the Vita is a true sequel to LittleBigPlanet 2. The touch and tilt functionalities offer a new way to create levels and the option to make iOS-style minigames, give LittleBigPlanet an endless amount of levels and games. The fact that it's not possible to play one of the seven million LittleBigPlanet levels made for PS3 is a bit of a bummer.

Borderlands is an amazing collection of bizarre weaponry, hectic fights and great humour. The different environments, crazy weapons and unique skills keep the game fresh from start to finish. The game might have been better off with a slightly lower pace when playing alone, but this is easily outweighed by the fun you'll have when playing with a friend. If you're going to buy just one cooperative game this year, let it be Borderlands 2.

Tekken Tag Tournament is the most polished and well thought through part in the Tekken series. It doesn't matter if you're playing alone or together: everything is about fun and competition. And the lack of gimmicks, like a story mode, show that this game doesn't need anything more than strong core gameplay.

There is so much to write about Guild Wars 2, so much to see and so much to discover. Reading a review won't do the game justice, you'll have to discover the magical world of Tyria for yourself. Be surprised at how simple, yet amazingly complex a world can be. And above all: you can leave your credit card safely tucked away in your wallet, because monthly costs is one of the few things Guild Wars 2 does not have.

Counter-Strike: Global Offensive is still the great game we all know and love, only with improved visuals. The new Arms Race mode adds a good amount of variation to the game with some high speed action, but the normal, slower modes won't be to everyone's liking in this day of modern shooters. Still, for only fifteen euro's it's hard to turn down this new version of a monumental shooter.

After finishing Papa & Yo, we were left with mixed feelings. The game offers a unique emotional experience through the creative fantasy world of Quico, accompanied by great music. Sound Shapes is a game you simply have to play to find out how good it really is. You can easily play a single number, but the game is also well suited for long play sessions filled with synergy between the music and the 2D platforming. Dust: An Elysian Tail is a near perfect Arcade title. The anime style isn't really as special as it could have been and not all the voice acting is up to par, but it has a deep and mature story line spanning easily fifteen hours (counting the side quests and challenge arena's) and a fighting system that makes you want to pick up the controller every time. Freakyforms Deluxe might be one of the most bizarre games we have played on the 3DS so far. It's a chaotic combination of silly jokes, childish graphics, platform action, weird music and your own creative mind. There are more arcade racers than you can count, but Split/Second brings something to the pack that makes this game a must-try. Every race is a hyped-up experience full of explosions and crashes that leaves the décor in shambles, but puts you on the edge of your seat. Realism or depth is not something you can expect from this title, but that shouldn’t be a deal breaker.

The Tomb of Sammun-Mak is a really fun episode. The switching between the movie reels adds an extra layer of depth to the puzzles and the story is a lot better than in the first episode. Sam & Max: The Tomb of Sammun-Mak gives promising prospect for the episodes to come.

Lost Planet 2 has the potential to be a great game, but the different gameplay elements aren't polished enough. So in the end, Lost Planet 2 is a mixture of a lot of stuff, but nothing in the mix is better then mediocre.

What Skate 3 does, it does it good. It is better than the second installment and brings some interesting online modes.
