Black Flag is different from its predecessors, but still contains the same Assassin’s Creed DNA. The variation between land and sea missions are what makes it feel fresh. At sea we’re mostly impressed by the open waters and everything to do there, with an emphasis on the wild sea skirmishes. It’ll make you feel like a real pirate, even though it isn’t as historically rich as previous Assassin’s Creed games.

XCOM 2 will reward you for being patient. Just like Enemy Unknown, but a little bit better in every little aspect. On console Original Sin is still amazing. New buttons, new content; they are both great. The PC version is still our favorite, as there are less steps needed for the same action. But it does not matter if you have played Original Sin before or you are a new player, it is still a must have thanks to its local co-op and excellent voice acting.

After years of carefully sculpting and expanding, EA finally managed to take the last hurdles. The goalie and the referee are near perfection and the AI has been much improved. This results in an incredibly realistic and dynamic game. Sometimes the pace is a little bit too fast, but with all the improvements that's easy to forgive. Halo 4 is a game with two sides. On the one hand 343 Studios hasn't managed to create a single player experience with a great story. And on top of that the musical presentation isn't what you'd expect it to be. The true magic of the game is to be found in the multiplayer mode. This is the ultimate version of a unique classic. The new version of the Zodiac Job system offers a custom feel to the game and really upgrades a few flaws from the original. Other than that this is like the original: a beautiful story filled with interesting characters.

The excellent controls and visuals make Rayman Fiesta run a joy to play. The renewed construction of the world also offers more variety then before. Too bad it’s quite short and there’s no reason to come back after finishing it.

Rise of the Tomb Raider is most impressive in its action-packed scenes, but also trying to figure out puzzles in the many tombs are fun. You and Lara embark on a true adventure together, it is too bad this adventure is not told in the best storytelling out there.

PlayerUnknowns Battlegrounds is the new standard for the Battle Royale genre. It is not a polished game, but that does not really matter when you consider how much fun you are going to have with it.
