Skate 2 is a diamond in the skateboarding genre, but loses focus every now and then. Nevertheless, it’s a definite purchase if you’ve enjoyed the first game, and a great opportunity for newcomers to give the trademark Skate-gameplay a try. The controls are just as intuitive as before, performing tricks is ultimately satisfying, and San Vanelona remains a great place to reside in.- InsideGamer.nl

There are more arcade racers than you can count, but Split/Second brings something to the pack that makes this game a must-try. Every race is a hyped-up experience full of explosions and crashes that leaves the décor in shambles, but puts you on the edge of your seat. Realism or depth is not something you can expect from this title, but that shouldn’t be a deal breaker.- InsideGamer.nl

DJ Hero is a new concept and a risky attempt to bring DJ’ing in to the living room. With a great soundtrack, enough content to keep going and a style that feels trusty but new at the same, they succeeded to do that. The price is a little bit high and only the die-hard fans will consider a purchase. But the quality of the game shouldn’t be clouded because of the price.- InsideGamer.nl

This game uses Kinect as it was meant to be used: it is technically amazing, and it takes you to another world in which not your brain, but also your body plays a big part. The game is funny, the puzzles are smart and that makes the shortness of it a bit of a let-down, in a positive way though.- InsideGamer.nl

FTL is a simple looking space adventure with an amazing amount of depth. It has a high difficulty and an enormous amount of strategic possibilities. This remake of the fifth part of the Dragon Quest series is a game which does what’s it’s supposed to do. It is a good game, but it could have been a lot better. The battle system works and the training of monsters is also very recognizable. Nevertheless, you still get the feeling it could have been more innovative. We do like the story, because it keeps you going. Whenever you feel like putting down your DS, you still want to know what is going to happen next. Dragon Quest isn’t as good as Chrono Trigger, but it’s still a fun game to play.- InsideGamer.nl

War is obviously outclassed by big brother Death. The agility of Death makes the combat feel more fluid and makes the platforming more fun. The addition of several RPG elements is a step forward in the franchise and the length, of at least twenty hours (forty if you want to get all collectibles and do all the side missions), will make sure you'll be spending a long time in the world of Darksiders 2.- InsideGamer.nl

Oddworld: Abe’s Oddysee was a classic on PlayStation One and nearly twenty years later it feels as fantastic as ever. This due to the fact that the game is built from the ground up and the biggest flaws of the original game are history. The fact that it’s a sidescroller now, has it’s pro’s and cons, but the game never really drops the ball. New Super Mario Bros. U introduces too few new ideas to push the platform genre forward in a way a Mario-game normally does, but nonetheless it's a great game. The positive side of this game predominated, but this is still a replay mission of Halo 3, despite of the typical Halo gameplay and the new great Firefight mode. Resident Evil 5 is like an expensive diamond. The outside is polished well and the inside is strong enough to go through iron. Anno 1404 is a terrific game and will keep you entertained for a long time. It gives the player challenges after challenges, and you won't get easily bored. It also looks really good. The only downside is the lack of strategic elements.- InsideGamer.nl

NBA 2K10 has been improved on a couple of points in comparison with is predecessor. The My Player mode is a lot of fun, the defense mechanics has improved and the players conditions are much more realistic...There still a few bugs in the gameplay, like players defending the wrong player. And Visual Concepts, please bring back the online lobbies, please?- InsideGamer.nl

An excellent and complete arcade racer. The short and intense races work great on the mobile platform. The many cars, challenging opponents and annoying police make sure you'll never have a moment of boredom. The only downside is that too much of the races are held on the same track.- InsideGamer.nl

Superhot is not traditional, standard or bad. The unique gameplay offers a highly entertaining adventure in a surreal world. The story and the way it is told are original and the extra challenges offer a couple of hours of crazy fun.- InsideGamer.nl

LEGO Marvel Super Heroes is completely innocent and light entertainment. It doesn't make any steps forward though and new elements aren't introduced, but that never really quells the fun. Accessible gameplay and lots of Marvel make this a pleasant and charming game that can keep you busy for hours on end. The world isn't a technical marvel by a long shot, but that's not a concern for our brave super heroes.- InsideGamer.nl

Great puzzles, lovely cut scenes and vibrant 3D environments; Professor Layton and the Miracle Mask is the total package. The Layton formula is renewed just enough through a new search function, some action sequences and great 3D implementation. The story might be somewhat predictable, but because of these great improvements Professor Layton and the Miracle Mask is the best Layton game so far.- InsideGamer.nl

The Pinball Arcade is the best pinball simulation there is. We wouldn’t have elected for a retail-version and preferred a different system to play it on, since this one has less cabinets and it does have a tournament mode. Are you patient and can you enjoy the pretty cabinets in this version, then don’t let us stop you.- InsideGamer.nl

Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate is ideal for Wii U-owners who are up for a challenge in which they can easily lose dozens of hours. The game doesn’t look exceptionally well, but the strong use of Gamepad, the improved controls and the prospect of Capcom supporting the game with extra challenges and missions, make this final version of Monster Hunter 3 an excellent game.- InsideGamer.nl

We might be a bit sick and tired of all the videogame remasters, but Borderlands: The Handsome Collection awakens us. The huge amount of content, the updated visuals and the option to play together with three of your friends are all great add-ons to an already awesome videogame. The only downside to this collection is the technical imperfection, especially within the Pre-Sequel.- InsideGamer.nl

Forza Horizon 2: Storm Island is fine dlc with its own face. The focus on driving offroad, the extreme weather effects, tiny changes to the known racing formulas plus the new rides are all coming together perfectly. Unfortunately this DLC does not really work for fans of super-shiny sports cars, especially because the new island is not worth exploring any further than just the racing.- InsideGamer.nl

Everybody that wants to play Formula 1, should play F1 2016. There is so much content that is very similar to the official formula 1, and it is so much fun to play this game thanks to well thought through features and simply being a nice drive.- InsideGamer.nl

Frustration is what makes us so addicted to N++. If you love tough and challenging platform games, N++ is worth every penny. If not, then still you can enjoy the multiplayer mode or making your own levels.- InsideGamer.nl

For the first time in a long while, PES is a better soccer game than FIFA. It is super realistic and offers a new mode that is very promising for the future. Too bad the menu's are so badly designed.- InsideGamer.nl
