Overall, Arizona Sunshine 2 VR is a decent game… you don’t have to be a fan of Zombie movies, games etc to enjoy it… you can just think of it as a first person shooter set in a scorching hot location with some very unhealthy looking enemies. Good controls and nice graphics make it a fun game to play… the price tag might be a bit high, so perhaps wait for a sale… but you should find a decent bit of fun here.- Impulsegamer

Trek to Yomi is Flying Wild Hog’s best game. Unlike Shadow Warrior 3, the studio’s first title in 2022 that was a huge step backward, Trek to Yomi is aimed at a niche audience. It’s short, violent, and poetic. The one-hit kill Kensei mode that’s unlocked after finishing the game for the first time also adds more replay value for the game while creating the potential for attracting hardcore gamers and speedrunners. The game can be enjoyed by many, but a very small group of people will hold on to it for a very long time. That’s why Trek to Yomi has the chance to become a cult title.- Impulsegamer

An esoteric mishmash of genres and with an art style that belies the more sombre elements of the storyline.- Impulsegamer

It may just be another third person shooter but for fans of the Transformers, this is probably the best video game ever. The homage to the original cartoon series and with the links to the IDW comic series, the developers have successfully incorporated this mythology into their game.- Impulsegamer

Overall, Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot is a highly entertaining game that’s faithful to the franchise. It accurately depicts the nostalgic events of the series’ earlier stories, and the gameplay engages the player while doing so.- Impulsegamer

Sea of Stars is wonderfully evocative of the RPGs of yesteryear, recalling strong memories of Chrono Trigger and the like. Gorgeous pixel art is backed up with a soundtrack that for the most part is very pleasant to listen to, even if some of the loops do tend to repeat themselves a little too quickly. It seldom distracts, and almost always adds to the scene.- Impulsegamer

I’ve been playing golf games for about as long as I can remember but they do tend to veer more towards the simulation rather than arcade fun. Everybody’s Golf I think finds a nice little middle ground of sorts… it’s certainly goofy and doesn’t take itself seriously at all… but the gameplay is still geared around making the shot the best you can, aiming for maximum power and maximum accuracy or adjusting power and adding a bit of back spin to stop the ball as close to the hole as possible. You can play it aggressively or you can aim for a bit of finesse… chances are either way you will have a lot of fun. Certainly a good game to add to the collection with that pick up and play style that can see you accidentally playing for hours when you thought you were just going to grab a quick 9 hole game.- Impulsegamer

If you’re a Castlevania fan chances are you snapped up the Dominus collection as soon as it shadow-dropped. If you missed these classics the first time and are looking for a pure-blooded Metroidvania to sink your teeth into, Castlevania The Dominus Collection is one package I highly recommend.- Impulsegamer

WRATH: Aeon of Ruin VR - Brutal Edition drops you into a dying world where constant movement and quick decisions are the only way to survive. You push through large, secret-filled levels using a mix of ranged weapons, close combat, and fast traversal tools that keep every fight in motion. It’s a gritty, old-school inspired VR shooter that thrives on speed, pressure, and learning to stay one step ahead of everything coming at you.- Impulsegamer

Overall… it’s fun, but does get frustrating on the later levels… the fact you can’t save your game to try a configuration and then reload if it didn’t quite work simply adds to that frustration. At the current price tag I think it might be a little much… but there is a bit of value in the unlockable comic pages and the ability to play through as a couple of other characters is nice. Perhaps wait for a sale unless you happen to really like tower defense style gaming.- Impulsegamer

With such an expansive land to explore divided into isles, a fantastic building component, and genuine feeling of warmth and accomplishment, Dragon Quest Builders 2 is utterly fun and adorable at the same time. Whether you play for a little or hours at a time, there is always something to do that will add to your gaming experience. This game is utterly charming to look at and plays like a really well tuned machine. I am pressed to fault it to be honest. It achieves everything it promises and then some. I had a good time with it and am sure you will as well regardless of your age.- Impulsegamer

Let It Die is flawed, but it’s perhaps the best free-to-play game ever made on the PS4. It’s different, daring, and occasionally impossible. But it’s also a must play for fans of the roguelike gene.- Impulsegamer

Ultimately, it’s a bit of fun, it’s pretty low stress… the crime scenes aren’t particularly gruesome and the art style is a bit like a more realistic version of Job Simulator… which is kind of fitting given the main characters. This setting with these protagonists/antagonists works well with the AI chat format… I’m not sure it would work quite so well with human suspects without starting to sound a bit artificial… but here it works.- Impulsegamer

Star Horizon is an open-world thrill ride where rock and roll meets retro-futurism. Rip through alien dunes on your hoverboard, shred enemies with your keytar, and dive into synth-soaked dungeons that echo with the sound of rebellion. The familiarity of its gameplay mechanics mixed with inventive and dramatic play styles help define it as something exciting and fresh.- Impulsegamer

Ubisoft have definitely hit a home run with their Wii U exclusive, ZombiU that provides more scares than Resident Evil and some great use of the GamePad for this console. Add in decent gameplay and make sure your doors are locked because the realism of these zombies is quite unparalleled. It's a well designed game from start to finish.- Impulsegamer

Nintendo Land highlights the potential of the Wii U console, especially when it comes to the capabilities of the GamePad that is definitely a very impressive gaming controller. By combining elements of the 3DS and a Tablet with streamlined Nintendo controls, this game not only plays well but gives the player and players some great single and multiplayer excitement. Add in high scores, trophies and lots of unlockables and this may be the future of gaming! Brilliant!- Impulsegamer

To sum it up, Dead Island: Riptide is more of the same with enough minor tweaks to make this more than a little worth a gamers while to check out. Some area have ever so minor clipping but this never makes the game unplayable, nor is it enough to be distracting. If you enjoyed the first Dead Island, then you will very much enjoy Dead Island: Riptide. For new gamers, this is a good one to come in on.- Impulsegamer

Fans of 90s JRPGs who missed it the first time have no excuse not to give Suikoden II (and its half-decent predecessor) a crack now. Suikoden I & II HD Remaster is not only the most economical way to experience these classic JRPGs, but also the best, thanks to some clever upgrades and, on the Switch and Steam Deck at least, the ability to play it natively on the go.- Impulsegamer
