LBX: Little Battlers experience is an enjoyable and fully customisable fighting game on the Nintendo 3DS.

Ultimately the game is well put together, intelligent but doesn’t take itself too seriously… it finds a good balance between presenting serious therapeutic notions and how they can be applied… with moments of humour. If you ever wondered what it was like to be a Vampire Therapist… grab a copy and find out. A good bit of fun and the potential to shed some light on ways of thinking.

A strangely, but ultimately fun and interesting spin-off from Elden Ring that works surprisingly well despite its odd choice of mechanics and lingering issues.

Combined with beat ‘em up gameplay and hundreds of different items to use against the hordes, the series’ best psycopath bosses and mall setting and a ton of endings and secrets, Dead Rising still holds up today for both newcomers to the franchise and returning fans like me indulging in some gory nostalgia.

Is this going to convert the non farming enthusiasts? I don’t think so… but for those with an interest it will likely scratch an itch that doesn’t have another outlet outside of a massive bank loan and a lot of hard labour.

A lot of effort went into creating the content for the game and it is really impressive. I wish there was more room to make more of your own deductions, but that isn’t the nature of Orwell. After playing the first three episodes, I am hooked and cannot wait to play the next two. It’s simple but fun with unexpected twists along the way.

In the end of it all Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 delivers the goods, though one wonders if even the ravenous fan base will be pleased for much longer unless we see a bit more revitalization in the franchise.

So no, WWE 2K26 isn't the Best in the World, but it still does a mighty fine job, sorta like when Randy Orton faced Edge in "The Greatest Wrestling Match Ever" at Backlash 2020, it wasn't the greatest wrestling match, but it was very good-and so to is WWE 2K26.

If you haven’t played Senua’s Saga: Hellblade II before, you have a great opportunity to catch up right now – even if you don’t know the first part. The PS5 version runs nice and steady in Performance Mode, and the haptics level things up. However, keep in mind that this series has already let down many players – just because the stress is put more on the introspective narrative and artistic presentation than on the actual gameplay. But probably all of this is what makes Senua’s Saga so memorable and exceptional.

If you’re a Switch owner with a passing interest in baseball, Super Mega Baseball 3 is a must buy. One of the best independent titles to date on the platform – and arguably the best indy sports title, period – it does everything its predecessors did…only better.

Rise of the Golden Idol is a superb follow-up that, although it doesn’t evolve the gameplay in any major way, it is still more Golden Idol, and that is no bad thing. Although it presents a more visually impressive tableau, the more granular modern tale doesn’t quite reach the same heady heights as the original. Regardless, Colour Gray Games has once again created a thrilling and deeply cerebral experience that fans of a good mystery (and feeling clever) will love.

This isn’t rocket science… it’s not a deep thinking game or even strictly all that imaginative… but it is a lot of stupid fun! The thumping beat that has been added to modernize it certainly helps there and does it’s part in building the excitement.

AI: THE SOMNIUM FILES - nirvanA Initiative is a superior game compared to its predecessor in almost every aspect. While some of the puzzle segments are a bit long-winded and can be quite complicated, the experiences they provide alone are incredibly worth it, and the characters make the game so fun to play.

NetherRealm Studios continues to prove that high-quality, story-focused content in fighting games has an audience, and they deliver that in spades with Aftermath. With a bombastic three hour story expansion and three new fully realised and unique DLC characters in Fujin, RoboCop and Sheeva, this is easily the best add-on released for any modern Mortal Kombat entry to date. The $60 launch price-tag for Aftermath is steep, but the new content is undoubtedly tailor-made for long-time fans of the franchise and newbies who can’t get enough of the wonderfully crazy time-travelling, realm-hopping, undead ninja-filled mythos that only Mortal Kombat provides.

Cryptmaster is a unique and engaging dungeon crawler with a quirky sense of humour and some very clever ideas. Though it may be a bit too ponderous for some, and action junkies should probably stay away, those with a passion for linguistics who love a good brain teaser or a good belly laugh should certainly check it out.

We’ve truly been spoiled this year for JRPGs. In the last few months alone we’ve had the award-winning Metaphor and Dragon Quest 3 HD-2D Remake. Fantasian Neo Dimension casting off its Apple Arcade shackles and coming to consoles is a brilliant capstone to a strong year for RPGs, and the Asian game industry in general.
