Whether you’re a new or returning player, Superstar Saga holds up extremely well in both the story and gameplay departments – the great QoL changes and visual updates are just icing on the cake. Recommended for players young and old who love casual turn-based RPGs and anything Mario related.

While there are some elements of KOFXV I wish were given more attention to, it's great characters, eye-catching visuals, and intricate yet engaging gameplay make it appealing to both veteran players and newcomers alike.

The story grabs you immediately and maintains a steady drip-feeding of excitement throughout its playtime and the game is just overall a refined, lovingly crafted adventure that will appeal to even those who are generally turned off by “card battle” games, as the content and gameplay here goes much deeper than that.

Roboquest VR brings the fast-paced, roguelite chaos of the original into virtual reality, letting you sprint, slide, and blast through robot-filled arenas with fully immersive controls. Its mix of chip upgrades, temporary Powercell boosts, and Workshop progression keeps each run fresh and rewarding, while the kinetic combat and inventive weapons feel even more intense in VR. Overall, it’s a polished, high-energy experience that perfectly translates Roboquest’s momentum and depth into a thrilling VR adventure.

Overall They always run is an intriguing example on modern 2-D platformers. Whilst it has minor problems with some of the platforming it does not take away from the atmosphere and aesthetic this game exudes. Whilst not having the most compelling story being very formulaic and told through long text breaks the combat and graphics more than make up for it.

A true JDM lovers heaven, even a few noticeable bugs couldn't stop me having a blast with JDM. With even more content and improvement, these guys will be unstoppable!

Prophecies of Ash is a good first step in the right direction for Anno 117: Pax Romana. The volcanic eruption cycle adds a much-needed challenge to the game and prevents the playthrough from becoming monotonous, while it can be switched off by those who would rather not worry about natural disasters burning half of their cities to the ground.

Even after all these years, Bayonetta 2 on the Nintendo 2 is still a very fun experience with a great gaming engine, exceptional graphics and a female protagonist that will make you laugh and also give you a healthy dose of controller rage. Best of all, Bayonetta 2 adds to the franchise with more crazy gameplay and a ridiculous story but more importantly, a decent Nintendo Switch experience.

Monster Hunter: World is the best entry in the long-running action RPG series to-date, accessible for both new players and returning fans expecting the in-depth gameplay systems and rewarding hunt/craft/explore loop we all know and love.

At the end of the day, Gran Turismo on the PSP could be considered Gran Turismo light in some aspects, however if you're looking at a racing simulation with real-world cars and decent gameplay, than this is one title you should investigate.

The Elder Scrolls V Skyrim Special Edition is a really good game on the PlayStation 4 and Bethesda have done a remarkable job at giving it a fresh facelift but also keeping the amazing story and gameplay. Sure, some things feel a little stiff and lacking finesse of something like The Witcher 3 but it’s quite a detailed world from its culture, denizens that populate this universe and very rich story. Lastly, the amount of time you could spend in this game is practically endless and the only potentially bad thing is that you could lose sleep because you won’t want to stop playing.

Where the game succeeds, it does so beautifully. True to life graphics and fun and funky music are great tools. But at the end of the day, it’s the content within that will determine the fate of you game. I feel that Ride 4, is simply not for newer players. Veteran’s of the style will probably adore it. New players who want to break into the genre, I’d recommend MotoGP 20 first.

In conclusion, SEGA have created a fun sports game that works well as a single-player game and even as a party game. With a plethora of SEGA and Nintendo references, this game will definitely bring a smile to your face as you compete in a variety of winter sporting events.

The virtual lands of World of Warcraft is getting a little long in the teeth but Mists of Pandaria with its lush forests, Asian inspired settings and new race will create this unique and entertaining gaming experience. And besides... pets vs pets... it doesn't get any better than this and best of all, it even promotes new players to the lands of World of Warcraft.

If you enjoyed the original game or you're wanting a unique game for the Nintendo 3DS that not only showcases the console but gives the player a sturdy gaming experience, than Kid Icarus: Uprising is that game. It features a great story that is oozing with humour and some sturdy control and gaming mechanics with not only the Circle Pad Pro accessory but also the included stand that will change the way some gamers play.

Overall, the game is definitely worth the price and will provide some good entertainment. Hardcore RTS fans won't find the game to be very good unless they look at it as a new type of game as opposed to an RTS, and casual gamers will find they can play and enjoy the game even without being fans of RTS's. As such the game fits a nice niche along with an amazing price. If a person can look past a few flaws then they should find an enjoyable game for a low price.

We could happily recommend this game to those who have been away from the THQ wrestling series for a few releases now or to those that loved the classic WWE franchise. With great gaming mechanics and controls that range from newbie to gaming veteran plus some exceptional graphics, WWE All Stars has some great replay value with some awesome fun to be had online as you make your way up the leaderboards.

If you're looking for a karting game that seriously goes beyond Mario Kart than Sonic & All-Stars Racing Transformed ticks all the right boxes and enhances the genre considerably. It's just a fun game that contains a strong single-player mode and some great online options. The levelling system works but more importantly, the gameplay is almost flawless.
