Stray is an adventure puzzle game where humans are long gone and the world is governed by robots. Trot around as a cat to find out what happend and if that means getting your claws dirty...then so be it! A rich narrative and creative soundtrack set the pawfect atmosphere to roam in. The Switch's inability to run laborious tasks efficiently are still noticeable, but the lazing strive of a cute feline overshadows all!

Loyal fans of the MechWarrior franchise will happily induct this release into their gaming library with all due respect and reverence, and deservedly so. There is enough in this game to enjoy, especially several hours of genuine down-to-metal battle. As an RPG story line, this game seems to lack a strong compelling story line. As a platform for Mech battles and team-ups with friends, there is some serious fun to be had here.

The documentary footage is very interesting and if you think of the game as being kind of an interactive documentary/museum display that might be the best way to look at it. If you are looking at the collection as a way to collect all the variations of Tetris that have been released then you will be disappointed. It is a pretty hefty price for the somewhat limited number of Tetris games available (I mean there are a few here… but the difference between them is not huge and there are some stand out titles missing)… so perhaps wait for a sale? Good to grab for the history of Tetris and if you are happy to have a playable documentary then you should be happy.

I quite like the approach of playing a human existing in this world of monstrous beasts. The sense of scale can be quite impressive and certainly makes you wonder just what it would indeed be like if these creatures existed. The general gameplay is fun enough, jumping about and breaking through walls to reach new areas. Combat is challenging enough but not too hard and even the frustrating monster events aren’t so long that they are insurmountable. A decent bit of fun for a pretty reasonable price.

It gives faces and names to far more of your giant ship’s crew, it finally lets you explore it, it adds a great subplot and companion, and it even adds the best music track in the game– the bumping tech choir sung in the Astropathic Chapel. On the box, it says Void Shadows adds an extra 15 hours of content, but if you’ve beaten the game already, it’s more like an extra playthrough. And for everyone else, you’d be cheating yourself by not buying it from the get-go.

The retro game style seems a great choice for The Rocky Horror Picture Show game, the side scrolling and chip tunes almost create their own Time Warp! Though some game play elements can be annoying and frustrating to have to attempt over and over… the fact there is no death means it’s not nearly as annoying as it could have been. For fans of the musical or the movie there’s enough here to give quite a few grins of acknowledgement. A nice little game that’s not too pricey, not overly long but a decent bit of fun with some enjoyable familiar tunes in chiptune style. More or less, Dread Delusion appears to be the work of one man, James Wragg, and with a little help, he’s handled practically all of it. It makes sense then, why one aspect of the game is far better than the rest– the visual design, as he’s a visual designer. But it means that every other aspect is playing catchup while he learns them from scratch. The result is a game that would be better as set of postcards– the game looks deceptively cool from the Steam Store page– but if Dread Delusion is great for anything, it’s great for the game Lovely Hellplace will make next. A game with a bigger budget, team, and (hopefully) more inspiration, innovation and attention to detail.

The representation of the famed Harry Potter sport here is impressively realized thanks to dynamic and thrilling gameplay, a pleasant artstyle, and a pick up and play allure that gives it a satisfyingly accessible edge. Career and customization options are slim, the commentary is tacky, and you might forget about it quickly, but the temptation to dive into a game of Quidditch in any position is irresistible, and what may look like an underweight and throwaway title, is actually ruddy good if you give it a chance and you keep on playing. If you’re a Castlevania fan chances are you snapped up the Dominus collection as soon as it shadow-dropped. If you missed these classics the first time and are looking for a pure-blooded Metroidvania to sink your teeth into, Castlevania The Dominus Collection is one package I highly recommend.

Concord is a game that has tons of potential, that sadly doesn't capitalise on any of it. A by the numbers hero shooter, that while occasionally fun, failed to make any inroads into an already packed genre.

As an arcade game, Astro Bot ticks all the right boxes and really challenges the medium but in a good way with its crazy mechanics, sturdy controls and next-gen experience, particularly with the DualSense Controller. As the game delves into the history of PlayStation, there are some fantastic cameos that you will encounter during your adventures that nicely bring its homage all together.

House of Golf 2 is a gorgeous entry into the mini-golf genre. Featuring some a vast array of creative stages to get through, only let down by a lack of online multiplayer and little in the way of variety.

Marble Abduction! Patti Hattu is a fun puzzle platforming game that's challenging without being too demanding. The quick pickup and play style is perfect for the Switch and makes the already entertaining game even more addicting. The funny script adds flavor and makes this perilous journey unique.

Ultimately, it’s a bit of fun and has some interesting ideas… just don’t expect to need to put a lot of time into it or to be scared. Maybe worth a look if it’s on special (it is reasonably cheap… but as mentioned, very short).

For a remake Shadow of the Ninja: Reborn is everything a fan of the original could ask for, the addition of an extra stage and the addition of a Time Attack mode gives the game plenty of replayability. Whilst the overall difficulty may put off a lot of casual gamers I do believe this game is well worth the try; even if its just to soak in the visuals and audio which I will say again are close to perfect. The only real downside I had was the item changing which could have been implemented better, whilst clunky is does not massively take away from the overall game.

Age of Mythology may have been a risk some 20 years ago, but remaking it was a no-brainer. Retold feels familiar but fresh, and the changes made all feel like they only improve on one of the franchise's best entries.

More than just being a great open-world game, Star Wars Outlaws is possibly one of the best Star Wars games ever made. It’s a clear labour of love for everyone involved at Massive, and it’s obvious from the team shows a clear understanding of not only what makes for a great open-world adventure, but what makes the Star Wars universe so compelling and enduring, not the blasters and lightsabres, but loveable characters and heart.
