As with the original game, I thoroughly enjoyed the Undead Nightmare Pack and with the inclusion of zombies, this add-on is definitely very enjoyable experience that I would happily recommend to all lovers of the Red Dead Redemption series.

Max Payne 3 is a solid game made for the PC, with incredible visuals and sound to go along with that. This is a no brainer for any action shooter fan out there.

Considering there are not many platforming games on the PS4, this is a wonderful title that is worth picking up. If you haven’t played Wonder Boy, that is another title worth getting into and Monster Boy is a brilliant successor to it. Old school fun is back!

Minishoot' Adventures is a standout that combines the best elements of two beloved genres into a cohesive and engaging experience.

Compared to the PS3 and Xbox 360 release, FIFA on the PlayStation 4 is a whole new ball game and even though EA have tweaked some of the gameplay modes, it is for the better and this version is definitely superior in terms of gameplay, controls and graphics.

Hitman 3 takes the formula in new directions, and will continually surprise you without stepping too far outside the known boundaries.

Nintendo have really mastered this series and The Legend Zelda: Spirit Tracks is a prime example of this that features two popular gaming characters from this interesting mythology.

Even if you have played the original games and your a fan of the series, you'll get a huge kick of this new facelift and new players won't be disadvantaged either.

Doom Eternal does its legacy proud. Unabashedly difficult, frantic, and single player-centric, it knows what it is…and does it well.

Diablo III Reaper of Souls boasts great graphics, sturdy gameplay and a very interesting story that will have both veterans and newcomers entertained.

Sure, it’s not a perfect release when you look at the current batch of next-gen titles, however it is a playable one and if you’ve missed this universe or you’re a newcomer, there’s some exceptional value for money in the Mass Effect Legendary Edition that will literally give you hours upon hours of enjoyment and yes, some frustration, depending on the difficulty level you play.

Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus is a continuation of everything that made Wolfenstein: The New Order work. A very strong character-driven war story, creative alt-history sci-fi setting and ultra-violent, immensely satisfying first-person shooter gameplay.

If you were a fan of the original game/s then absolutely grab a copy… it’s a nostalgic joy and will warm your heart better than a bottle of Rum.

Animation suits the retro feel of the game and it's almost like looking at a game from the 80's. It works well with the gameplay as do the sound effects, although the music is quite horrendous. Nonetheless, this is a very challenging and well thought out game that I could happily recommend to all gamers looking for something uniquely different and Spelunky fits that bill!

Paired with the 2.0 Update, Phantom Liberty elevates a good game to a pretty good game. And while its bugs and oddities keep it in the shadow of The Witcher 3, Phantom Liberty offers the best storyline in Night City.

Resistance 2 is definitely an enjoyable first person shooter experience on the PS3 with detailed graphics, sturdy gameplay and a great storyline that is at times like the survival horror genre. As a person who played all the Spider-Man games since Sega Genesis’ Spider-Man vs. The Kingpin, Insomniac’s version of the New-York city’s wall crawler is the best Spider-Man game ever released. The game holds up pretty well both in visuals and gameplay mechanics. Though there are some drawbacks and shortcomings, they are not game-breaking or in any way stop the players from enjoying the title. To make a long story short, Marvel’s Spider-Man Remastered is a diamond in the rough.

Halo Infinite on the Xbox Series X is classic Halo fun that has received a true next-gen makeover that really upgrades our favourite Spartan, the Master Chief himself!

While Xenoblade Chronicles X: Definitive Edition is not a perfect remaster by any means. It has several notable and avoidable flaws. However, it is still one of the best remasters in modern years and the new content makes it an incredibly attractive remaster for fans.

Lumines Arise is a mesmerizing puzzle game that blends block-dropping gameplay with hypnotic music and stunning visuals. You manipulate colorful 2x2 blocks to form squares, syncing every move to a pulsing soundtrack while exploring dynamic, themed stages. With new mechanics like Burst, customizable playlists, and both single-player and multiplayer modes, it’s a deeply immersive experience that’s easy to pick up but hard to put down.

At the end of the day, Bayonetta is easily one of our most original gaming experiences that we have enjoyed in a long time and even though at times, it feels like a bad 70’s action movie, the story, characters and quirkiness of the gameplay is pure ingenious.

And what can I say but about time, it's refreshing to play something fun and well-made as opposed to those dark shooters or the wealth of games that currently take themselves a little too seriously!

Aaero2: Black Razor Edition is a fast-paced rhythm rail shooter that blends precise movement, timed combat, and electronic music into a tightly focused arcade experience. The expanded Black Razor Edition adds more tracks, levels, and modes, making it the most complete version of the game to date. While some design choices take time to warm up to, its sense of flow and replayability make it a strong entry in the rhythm-action space.

This revamped collection also boasts a handful of key features that include explorer mode which focuses more on story opposed to combat (great for newcomers), the speed run mode which basically times certain parts of the game like how fast you finished a section to the new brutal difficulty level which takes the game to a whole new challenge level.

At the end of the day, Total War: Shogun 2 - Fall of the Samurai is a fun game if you like this genre of PC gaming that contains a very sturdy interface with some lush graphics and political intrigue thrown into the mix.

A slow burn, Minds Beneath Us is a memorable dystopian sci-fi thriller in every individual component besides its gameplay.

There's no better opportunity for FIFA fans that are looking for a deeper managing experience to get involved in the Football Manager franchise. The new gameplay additions and a slicker presentation make Football Manager 2013 a much more mainstream and simpler experience, but this will work in the game's favour.

While Out of the Park 14 is a fun fantasy styled game, gamers with not much interest in baseball or waiting (because of the real time aspect) won’t enjoy this game as much as sports fans and fantasy sports players.

EA Sports have created a worthy successor to the franchise with improved graphics, refined and entertaining gameplay that will have you boxing the absolute living daylights out of each other.

AS a whole package UFC is excellent value for money, and sees enough additions from previous, besides the enormous roster to warrant a purchase for fans of the franchise.

Tunic, like all good Zeldalikes, is really about the hero’s journey, from a shaky start to the savior of a mystical island in tiny increments. With every stumble and fall, a lesson is learned; each new page of the manual, every new piece of equipment, and every little victory slowly amounts to something much greater. It in some ways a meditative game, but it’s also one packed full of satisfying challenges and hard-fought battles. If you have fond memories of adventuring in a green tunic, I couldn’t recommend slipping on this particular garment enough.

Although not as impenetrable to newcomers as earlier entries, F1 2017 in some ways falls victim to the curse of annual releases; with such a rigid release schedule in place the opportunity to meaningfully expand upon last year’s effort is reduced and often the best you get is possibly a new mechanic and a whole heap of fine-tuning of established mechanics. With F12017, its big new trick is the in-depth career mode and extensive level of customisation that comes with it and the rest is just a refinement upon the (Admittedly fun) foundation of previous games.

Though not without its flaws, Unicorn Overlord is a fantastic tactical RPG that has a highly rewarding and satisfying gameplay loop.

A crazy journey back in time with side-scrolling shooter mechanics thrown in for good measures. It's really one hell of a ride.

At the end of the day, Valkyria Chronicles is an interesting RPG tactics title that has quite an innovative movement and control system which is thoroughly enjoyable and at times frustrating. As the tactics are quite diverse, you can mix and match what you do on the battle.

A very worthy addition to your games catalogue and who knows… you may get so engrossed you want to pay to experience it all!

Rise of the Tomb Raider on PC is not only stunning a but a true interactive experience!

Definitely a must have game if you're a basketball fan!

If you are a fan of the previous games then absolutely grab a copy. If you haven’t played a Diablo game before but like the idea of hack and slash with a healthy (or perhaps unhealthy) dose of loot clicking then grab a copy… basically… just grab a copy!!! Lot’s of fun and a great example of how to bring an old game back to life like a necromancer summoning a Lich.

This new DLC takes nothing away from the fun experience of the original Soldner experience while still granting new trials and challenges to try.

Ultimately TW: Warhammer is a deep game with plenty to keep the fan of the genre committed. The learning curve is steep, but will prove rewarding once climbed.

At the end of the day, BlazBlue: Calamity Trigger is an outrageous fighter that breaks away from Western norms and gives the player something uniquely different and more importantly, entertaining.

Volition it seems has made a new standard in over the top…no really I don’t think you understand… they went over the top before. Now they had to raise the bar in standards as well, just so they could go over the top of that.

Street Fighter 6: Years 1-2 Fighter’s Edition provides gamers with a very sturdy fighting experience on this new console from Nintendo. It does suffer from a couple of graphical stumbles, and Joy-Con mini-games are more filler than content, but it’s nice that Capcom has provided a great way to showcase the capabilities of this console with their hit game.

Monster Hunter Rise is a great game with an even better PC port that I believe is the best way to enjoy the game especially if you're a hardcore fan of the series that prefers to hunt monsters in the most optimal way possible.

Overall, Final Fantasy X is one of the greatest Japanese RPG's around and this release offers two awesome games for the price of one.

Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate is a pure holistic RPG mobile experience on the 3DS.

With such an expansive land to explore divided into isles, a fantastic building component, and genuine feeling of warmth and accomplishment, Dragon Quest Builders 2 is utterly fun and adorable at the same time. Whether you play for a little or hours at a time, there is always something to do that will add to your gaming experience. This game is utterly charming to look at and plays like a really well tuned machine. I am pressed to fault it to be honest. It achieves everything it promises and then some. I had a good time with it and am sure you will as well regardless of your age.

At the end of the day, The Sims 3 may seem like more of the same old, however it does offer the gamer a uniquely almost fully interactive and virtual experience.

Can I recommend Death Stranding? It depends on which camp you sit in. If you want to see one of the most esoteric video games ever created, that has so many strange elements but none of them cohesively come together to make a traditional “game”, then yes. Dive in and revel in the madness that’s unfolding. If you want a good video game. I’d approach with caution. For me personally, I loved it. I don’t really understand it yet, but the isolated walks and the rebuilding of connections, especially in the world we live in right now, it brought a lot of strange comfort.

Titanfall is definitely a breath of fresh and features a very sturdy gaming engine that is let down by an almost non-existent story.

Tomb Raider is a brilliant game on the XBox 360 and the developers have successfully rebooted the franchise for the 21st century with next-generation graphics and gameplay.

Rift Apart is a gorgeous game with great gameplay and fantastic story that suffers from unpolished PC port that results to constant frame drops throughout the game.

Bloober Team finally put to rest any doubt that over their rendition of Silent Hill 2. They have excelled in producing a faithful update to original masterpiece, while injecting some of their own ideas into things.

Minecraft is truly a success on the Nintendo Switch that boasts accessible controls and a glorious interactive environment that will keep players attention for hours upon hours.

While the story could have been fleshed out more, and the interactivity needs a lot of improvement, it doesn't change the fact that Anonymous Code is one of the few visual novels that display a significant amount of effort.

Kratos is definitely back as are all the wondrous mythological creatures and settings of ancient Greece.

In conclusion, Trials HD is a very entertaining game that takes puzzles, motorbikes and a healthy dose of frustration and rewards to the next level. It's amazing that something so simple is so addictive and proves that games don't have to be about shooting or plain racing.

The game still looks great, sounds brilliant and plays fantastically. If you missed it the first time around on the Wii-U, you’re in for a treat. If you’re a Switch owner that enjoyed Tropical Freeze on the Wii-U, I’d say it’s worth replaying as the portable nature of the Switch lends itself well to the collect-athon platforming gameplay.

Mario Kart World on Nintendo Switch 2 is pure next-gen karting at its best!

Nioh 3 is a game that took me a while to get into. I wasn’t feeling the first hour or two, and I initially couldn’t get to grips with the Burst Break mechanic. At some point, though, it clicked, and I got into the groove; the world opened up, and the game was transformed. From that point, I couldn’t put it down. There’s a lot to like here, and enough to keep players engaged for dozens, if not hundreds, of hours, with a multitude of different build possibilities and ways to attack any given objective. Lacklustre graphics presentation aside, I couldn’t find many faults with Nioh 3. Definitely one to check out.

Starcraft II Heart of the Swarm is the next chapter of the Starcraft universe that offers gamers a very sturdy single-player experience and neatly delivers a great chapter revolving around Sarah Kerrigan. The gameplay is flawless and if it's not broke, don't fix it which Blizzard seem to epitomize.

Fun 2.5D platforming, combo-based combat and clever puzzles wrapped in a highly polished, content-filled package. A must-play adventure.

One of the best games of the year and in Switch history, Bayonetta is a gameplay experience not to be missed.

Monster Train is a rougelike deckbuilding battlefield that provides searing strategy and gallivant gratification to allow you to have a never-ending enjoyable experience.

If you have fond memories of either, Heretic + Hexen is another must buy collection from Nightdive Studios.

The Shadow Update builds on what already works and expands it in ways that feel thoughtful and consistent. The new characters introduce fresh playstyles, the ball types open up a huge range of combinations, and the added passives and building give you more control over how everything comes together. It’s the kind of update that makes you wonder how the game felt before it existed. With one more free update on the way later this year, it’s clear the game isn’t slowing down, and if this pace continues, it’s only going to get harder to put down.

Granted the story is shallow at times, and the characters are the standard stereo types, the game on the other hand visually looks spectacular. The good things far outweigh the bad here.

Developer Sucker Punch has produced a fantastic realization of Ezo/Hokkaido, a region of feudal Japan that we don’t get to see a lot of in games, let alone explore in such detail. Along with fun combat, quests, and progression systems, Yōtei will keep a lot of gamers busy, not even taking into account the free co-op multiplayer modes coming in 2026. A must-play for fans of open-world action-adventure games, and a worthy, albeit safe sequel to Ghost of Tsushima.

Final Fantasy XII may end up holding up best out of the entire franchise due to its unique style. From the visuals, to the story, to the gameplay mechanics that unfortunately haven’t been used since. This Remaster is a fitting reminder of the games quality and will hopefully convince people to give the world of Ivalice a second try. One of the Playstation 2’s best games still stands tall today, and is very worthy of your time.

Ghost Trick Phantom detective was one of the best games on the DS and is now one of the best games on modern hardware.

If you’re worried that Disco Elysium might be too slow for you, you’re probably right. It’s a visual novel through and through, where 90% of the gameplay is reading. It doesn’t skip any big issues, it doesn’t mind reminding you about the human condition, right after making you giggle uncontrollably; it wants you to be engaged, intoxicated, and uncomfortable. If you value engaging writing and exceptionally gorgeous graphics over a fast paced RPG, Disco Elysium is an adventure absolutely worth investing in.

Overall DMC is a great reboot, probably the best reboot that I can think of in game industry. I would compare it to the Batman Begins of the video game world.

Silent Hill f plunges players into a chilling vision of 1960s Japan where beauty and horror intertwine in unsettling ways. Its slow-burn storytelling and haunting imagery build a sense of dread that lingers long after each encounter. More than just another entry, it feels like a bold reimagining of what Silent Hill can be.

Returnal is a great experience for those who love bullet hell games or sci-fi roguelikes. Though the difficulty spikes and unbalanced weapons sometimes make it hard not to rage quit, sticking with Selene in her mysterious and symbolic journey is truly rewarding.

It’s pretty pricey so you may want to wait for a sale… but there’s a lot of enjoyment to be had here and the credit for using certain methods to get through obstacles will give completionists a reason to go back and replay levels.

Indiana Jones and the Great Circle is the best videogame adaptation of the storied film series ever committed to console (and PC). I never thought anything would top The Fate of Atlantis but here we are. Not only does it nail the look, feel, and tone of the movies, but it lets players inhabit the character of Indiana Jones in an almost palatable way. This would be for naught though if it wasn’t backed up by a fantastic, engaging narrative and top-tier stealth action gameplay that is as tense as it is thrilling. Along with the Arkham games, in my opinion, Indiana Jones and The Great Circle are destined to be feverishly pointed at for decades as an example of how to do video game adaptations right.

Shinobi: Art of Vengeance is a solid game of this series that heralds back to a simpler time but also adds new modern mechanics.

Diablo III Is a solid sword and sorcery dungeon crawling adventure. Just push the direction you want to go and then hack 'n' slash... how simple and fun.
