Project Zero: Maiden of Black Water may start out slow-paced with about a dozen tutorials before the real action begins, but if you stick with the game for long enough to get settled in this is a fun adventure into the unknown. Imagine being the star of I am Legend or Mad Max as you control your destiny in this nuclear devastated world.

All in all, there may not be enough substance for a gamer to really stick around and play the game more than a few times in curiosity.

WRC 5 on the PlayStation 4 is good rally game but is lacking that next-gen feel and look.

For me, J-Stars Victory VS + started out strong but petered out in the end as its shallow fighting mechanics became apparent, but even with these limitations, the varied (At least visually) roster and breakneck online multiplayer makes the game worth a look for fighting fans in the market for something a little different.

Ronin is not a stealth game. The self-confessed Gunpoint rip-off is a frantic, physics-defying, blood-spattering, minimalist tale of revenge. It culminates in a superb final level, offering two equally powerful endings. And while its length might leave you craving more murder-fun, it does offer a new game plus: go destroy your enemies all over again, in style.

Overall, the controls for Rescue 2 are simple enough to become accustomed to, the music isn’t too overpowering but it does not give too much variety, and the graphics are about on par with what would be expected in a game such as this.

Beautifully presented, slick gameplay and a storyline that in my books is better than the recent films, Batman Arkham Knight is a fitting way to end this franchise.

Devil May Cry 4 Special Edition on XBox One is a thrilling experience from start to finish!

The Escapists is a game that welcomes and rewards creativity, however the patience required may limit its audience.

Sure, Elder Scrolls Online Tamriel Unlimited has been on the PC for awhile now and although the graphics may not match the PC version, it’s definitely a far smoother experience in terms of gameplay and ZeniMax Online Studios should be commended on creating a great control system that really makes this a sturdy MMORPG experience on the XBox One.

It’s hard to recommend a game that’s as obviously broken as this. Sure, there’s some fun to be had but all too often this is hindered by a bug that’ll remind you of just how disappointing a porting effort this really is.

It’s not a bad game at all, it’s just another game in a crowd. Once played through there is not enough there for a revisit. But there is enough there to visit at least once.

Give this quirky little gem a chance and Schrödinger’s plucky little feline will almost certainly find a place in your heart.

Son of Nor has some promise, delivers a passable game… but can be so much better.
