Greedfall: The Dying World offers an approach to early millennium ERPGs from two very different perspectives. In tactical mode, it is an ode to Baldur's Gate 3, while in concentrated mode, it reminds us of Bioware's work in Star Wars: KotOR, Mass Effect, and Dragon Age. In both cases, we find a deep story riddled with decisions and political injustices, multiple scenarios of great beauty, and a large number of characters with different motivations and personalities. Dense at times and somewhat slow, this Greedfall 2 will appeal to those who already enjoyed the original title and those who miss another way of doing RPGs.

The Legend of Heroes: Trails Through Daybreak 2 is too much of a continuity sequel, so much so that at times it forgets to contribute something of its own, and that's its biggest problem. Even so, it's also an outstanding JRPG that manages to feel modern while embracing the classic.

While we wait for the release of Onimusha: Way of the Sword in 2026, Capcom returns to the fray and rescues one of the best episodes of the saga, Onimusha 2: Samurai's Destiny. Available on Playstation, Switch, PC and Xbox consoles, the remastering stays in the previous generation offering a work that could have been better. Fortunately the original game is powerful enough to hold its own with what is undoubtedly the best option to relive the story of Jubei Jagyu and Oda Nobunaga.

Monster Hunter Stories is an acceptable videogame. It is fun and has all the main saga fundamental characteristics, adapted to a tactical RPG. An exemplary remastering that includes two great graphic novels that make up an entire story arc. The best trials of the videogame scene are back and they do it with two titles that have never been published in our territory. The Great Ace Attorney Chronicles takes us back to Victorian England to talk about crimes, corruption, legislation and many other topics treated through the prism of western romanticization that anime from Japan has done. To be something less redundant and more direct would have been wonderful and would have reduced the number of hours needed to complete it. Still, if you are able to overcome the language barrier, you will find a different videogame full of humor and second readings.
