Fire Emblem Fates: Conquest is a monument to the elegance of Intelligent Systems. Hard, yet accessible, it's even deeper than the series' standards. Fans will love it and newbies should try it (maybe starting from the Birthright version).

Don't get fooled by its pixel-art: The Count Lucanor is a cruel survival horror, filled with puzzles and mystery. It's a simple adventure, easy to pick up and play. There are some flaws, but nothing too serious.

The Flame in The Flood can be seen as a novel of formation nestled in a methapore that turns life into a river. Unfortunately Molasses Flood's first work tries to transmit a deep and manifold message with a not so deep and manifold messenger.

Blood Alloy: Reborn feels like a missed opportunity: the game tries to melt Vanquish's speed with Luftrausers' high score madness, but it lacks of polish, content and gets boring quickly. Kudos to its soundtrack, very addictive.

Severed is an interesting mix between the exploration of classic dungeon crawlers like Dungeon Master and a combat system inspired by recent mobile games like Fruit Ninja and Infinity Blade. A good way to add more value to your PS Vita. The game is maybe just a bit too hard.

Alienation is good at what it does and what it does is shooting endless waves of filthy aliens. Even though the game lacks some content as bosses and some variety in missions, the experience is still fun as a solo players or with up to 3 friends.

Yo-Kai Watch is a game with a great personality and a highly approachable combat system, but not free from major flaws: the random Yo-Kai capture system can be kinda frustrating, and it's a shame that it doesn't have an online multiplayer feature.

Star Fox Guard is smart and funny. A clever way to set up a different kind of tower defense game, at a reasonable price.

Fast & furious: the Fox team is back with an old-school shooter that's visually underwhelming, but that's a joy to play (even if the control scheme can be a bit tricky).

A pleasant diversion in horror style for Lara Croft's fans, although between locations already seen and a too modest difficulty.

Like the first one, just a bit better: more units, more enemies, new tactical situations. Choices and consequences are soul-crushing as ever, but it's all part of the fun.

A pleasant surprise for those who enjoy multiplayer battles and the twin-stick shooters with a simplified MOBA style.

Ratchet & Clank's comeback on PS4 is a truly enjoyable and intoxicating third person shooter. It really doesn't add anything to a well known formula, but it's a blast while it lasts.

Lots of updates and new content for one of the best competitive beat'em ups on the market. Excellent.

MXGP2 is the best motocross game developed by Milestone, full of content and fun to drive.

Mario and Sonic meet again and the result is... kinda boring. While the game presentation is nice and colorful, its mechanics are too shallow.

Hyper Light Drifter transports the player into a world made by dreams and nightmares, that are sustained by a superb art direction and fresh gameplay. Heart Machine delivered an excellent and challenging adventure, and also an unmissable gem for the indie games’ fans.

A game that's clearly the product of passion, talent and dedication, Enter The Gungeon is an exciting twin stick shooter that mixes up elements ranging from The Binding of Isaac, Dark Souls and Ikaruga (among others...). The result is a delightful and sadistic cocktail that the most hardcore gamers will fall in love with, but also one that is definitely not for everyone.

Dark Souls III is one of the best episodes in the series and one of the best soulslikes ever. Wonderful boss design, amazing level design and a great progression system put it at the top of the genre.

A perfect experience to live with Oculus Rift, but also with a normal PC doesn’t go unnoticed. Too bad the gameplay is weak and quite boring. [Tested with Oculus Rift and standard PC]

Quantum Break has some breathtaking moments and shoot-outs, but its mechanics are a bit shallow and the story is not that strong.

An original and very well developed idea gives birth to a fascinating, entertaining and quite challenging adventure.
