The new Master of Orion can glue you to the screen for many hours. It has things executed very well - from designing ships, to diplomacy, to combat. The biggest flaw is this: this new MoO relies too much on old games. It's great to try and revive old magic but novelties from mid-90s are now standard. More unique things would do this game good.- GRYOnline.pl

Well known and loved Worms had to wait a while for a game that is as good as old 2D installments of the series. Worms WMD proves that extreme modifications aren't necessary - the key is to give fans what they want: more worms, more destruction and classic physics. That plus some cool little new things turn this Worms game into a real gem.- GRYOnline.pl

Deus Ex GO was supposed to be a well made, good looking puzzle game and it turned out to be exactly that. It's a third installment in the GO series aimed at fans of simple mind-games and minimalistic graphics that want to expand their knowledge of the Deus Ex universe. Just like Lara Croft and Hitman - DX GO is simply very good.- GRYOnline.pl

Great expectations for Deus Ex: Mankind Divided made it look a bit worse than Human Revolution (even though the new DX is a really good game). The good things: improvements in gameplay mechanics, freedom of choice and great atmosphere are outweighed by a really mediocre storyline that casts a shadow on an overall great achievement.- GRYOnline.pl

The Solus Project - an interesting space survival adventure - has a truly magnificent, magical, diverse and very interesting world. It's definitely the biggest asset of this game. The gameplay calls back to some old-school mechanics and does it pretty well. Shame that the storyline and characters are so weak. Still - fans of Interstellar should give it a go.- GRYOnline.pl

Sherlock Holmes: The Devil's Daughter is an uneven game. Making Sherlock younger and having him take part in action scenes was a good idea but the execution is poor at best. Still there are some excellent mini-games, interesting investigation and a truly great deduction board. If only the game handled it's characters better it would be glorious. The end result is ok but the potential is far from being fully realized.- GRYOnline.pl

Dreamfall Chapters is a good game that requires following the series from the beginning. You have to really know the characters and their worlds. Without it you get a game full of outdated gameplay solutions with mediocre technical side and occasional extremely boring parts. If you do not love The Longest Journey focus on something like Life is Strange, it'll be better for you.- GRYOnline.pl

Inside is a truly unique platformer that is a better and more mature brother of famous Limbo (that came from the same studio). Everything you see on the screen is extremely well thought out and the way that one anonymous character in the background conveys tons of emotions with a simple move is astounding. Only the best could have achieved such a thing and I'm sure Inside will be remembered for years.- GRYOnline.pl

LEGO Star Wars: The Force Awakens Has some issues and takes some shortcuts but I had tremendous fun playing the game (ever more than watching the actual movie). The game is really funny, demanding for younger gamers and offers tons of cool stuff to unlock. It's no revolution but the overall feeling is great.- GRYOnline.pl

SteamWorld Heist is a steampunk tactical game with attitude and a cool gameplay mechanic. It's a truly great product that has become one of the best indie games of the year. There's a lot to be satisfied about: great graphics, excellent combat and interesting dialogue. Fans of high difficulty levels and tactical, turn-based games and should definitely give it a go.- GRYOnline.pl

Song of the Deep is a very pleasant but mostly unoriginal game. It's pretty but not as much as Ori and the Blind Forest, the weapons are cool but not as inventive as in other games of the same studio. Still - this underwater adventure is worth your time but it could use some polishing.- GRYOnline.pl

Fallout Shelter on the PC is a lightweight strategy game that takes its time to gain momentum but generates reasonable amounts of fun. On one hand it has some issues, on the other the "just one more click!" syndrome is present and finally the game looks the way it should have from the beginning. Fallout Shelter needs some polishing and isn't perfectly suited for this platform but it definitely deserves your attention.- GRYOnline.pl

I'm a hardcore pokemon fan and it pains me to admit that Pokemon GO is an unfinished product that still requires some work. It's hard to fairly grade such a social phenomenon so soon, especially when it can provide real fun. Walking around your own city, meeting other players and pokemon is really cool but right now Pokemon GO is just a good idea that has not reached its full potential.- GRYOnline.pl

Bohemian Killing has a very interesting idea for a non-linear gameplay that crumbles under a ton of issues. It would work great as a free browser game and right now I can't recommend buying it. This adventure as an affair for one (not very engaging) session. Everything looks as if it was a demo, a part of something bigger but still unfinished. And it's a pity because you can clearly see the potential.- GRYOnline.pl

This is the Police is a living proof that a fairly simple concept of managing a police station can be presented in a very interesting manner, with a well written story and lots of difficult choices to make. Studio Weappy has created one of the most interesting indie games of the year. A game that surprises the player with constantly changing conditions.- GRYOnline.pl

The several hours needed to complete Phantaruk were quite pleasant. Sure, there are lots of better indie games (especially in the "scary" genre) but Polyslash has a chance to dazzle gamers with their next game. Their debut is a well done mix of horror and stealth that needs some polishing and a better story.- GRYOnline.pl

No Man's Sky is a very interesting experiment and a boring videogame. First hours are really pleasant but the magic disappears pretty quickly and you're left with a repetitive and uninteresting obligation to explore new planets. In time it could be something really good but right now it's flawed both on the technical and gameplay side (and the finale is disappointing to say the least). My expectations were shattered.- GRYOnline.pl

Abzu is a truly unique indie game that stands out among the faceless mass of other small games. The developers have shown an incredible attention to detail and have presented the player with a great, very well directed story. It's short and has almost no gameplay mechanics but it's still worth it. There is a secret, a plot and friendship.- GRYOnline.pl

An old-school looking strategy game like Crush Your Enemies is a product with chances of making it big on larger mobile devices. It has lots of potential and doesn't scare you with microtransactions. Unfortunately releasing this game on the PC was not a good idea. The controls are clunky, the price too high and the overall feeling - mediocre.- GRYOnline.pl

The Technomancer is a very pleasant surprise. Studio Spiders has learned a lot from their mistakes and is on the way to joining the best RPG developers in the business. The game proves how big the quality leap is in terms of gameplay mechanic, graphics, atmosphere and storyline. If The Technomancer sells well, the developers will be able to put more effort and money into upcoming games (and that will be good for everybody).- GRYOnline.pl

Mirror's Edge Catalyst is a good game. Nothing less, nothing more. Trying to find innovation and enriching the basic formula from the previous game by introducing an open world did not do much good. The best parts of the game are when we're completing linear, scripted missions. Exploring the city becomes monotonous after a few hours. In other words - it should be a better game but fans of Assassin's Creed will be pleased.- GRYOnline.pl

Hearts of Iron IV has some not especially well-done economical solutions but at the same time has such a great combat system, wide scope and a very complex gameplay that it's a perfect game for seasoned strategy fans. All of this is also quite pretty and much more approachable for newbies (without sacrificing anything along the way).- GRYOnline.pl

Battleborn is a complete gaming package - it has 25 interesting characters, tons of things to unlock and cool story-driven missions. It is a pity that it tries too much to be a game for everyone - there's something for fans of single-player games, something for fans of cooperation and something suited online competition. Overwatch focuses on one thing and is well polished, Battleborn more or less fails in every aspect and is only OK, nothing more.- GRYOnline.pl

Stellaris presents an Elon Musk level of innovation - it's a really engrossing cosmic strategy that kept me entertained for long hours. There are some cracks on the surface (passive AI and a dull middle part of the game) but they don't matter. Stellaris is extremely pleasant and in the future - after some improvements - can become a true revelation.- GRYOnline.pl

I've seen lots of indie games better than Shadwen which has been created by an experienced studio. For me - after the premiere of Trine 3 - Frozenbyte wasn't in a good place and right now it seems it has lost its way completely. Shadwen uses some good ideas (like SUPERHOT's time meddling) but the complete package is simply weak and uninspired.- GRYOnline.pl

Shadow of the Beast is not a real remake but at the same time it's not a modern, stand-alone title. There are lots of archaic mechanisms in place but all in all I had a very good time. This is a very graceful retelling of the Beast story (mostly for older players), unfortunately without much perspectives for a future sequel.- GRYOnline.pl

After more than 70 hours spent with Total War: Warhammer I can confidently say that it is one of the best strategies of the year (and the year isn't over yet). Creative Assembly has used its experience and applied well known solutions but there's a ton of new stuff that freshen up the Total War brand in a very good way.- GRYOnline.pl

The second expansion to Witcher 3 - Blood and Wine, is a multi-hour adventure that expertly mixes all the things we know and love with very interesting novelties. The new land is breathtaking, the story and characters are enchanting and the interface finally is almost perfect. Every story needs an ending and this one is one of the most satisfying ever.- GRYOnline.pl

Homefront: The Revolution is a weird mix of things going great and things going south. Gameplay that combines the best of sanbox games and linear shooters is interesting and can be appealing. It's a shame that nothing really stands out and even the best parts of the game suffer from technical issues. It's a fairly long game but I'm not sure it deserves the time.- GRYOnline.pl

Doom has a great solo campaign and a so-so multiplayer mode. Fortunately the single-player portion of the game is the most important and Doom shines spectacularly on this field. It's a pity that there are some technical issues that keep you from fully enjoying the game. One or two big patches will remedy the situation but right now Doom's evident greatness sometimes becomes a bit overshadowed by minor flaws.- GRYOnline.pl
