Realpolitiks suffers from being designed simultaneously for the PC and mobile devices. It's really hard to create a game that will be successful on both platforms. Jujubee's creation takes inspiration from big, complex strategies and at the same time simplifies the mechanics and the audiovisual side. There will be no success on the PC, perhaps the future mobile edition can do more.

Sniper Elite 4 is a very safe sequel - it doesn't introduce revolutionary changes but expands and improves on the things that are well known. If something isn't broken don't fix it - that's a good approach. At the same time this game quite often looks like a copy of its predecessor - the same issues are mixed with some cool improvements. All in all, fans should be really happy.

Arachnid Studios' game reminds me of the first Gothic - it's incredibly buggy but intrigues you with its setting and atmosphere. If you can forgive some of its serious issues, Diluvion should win you over. It's a pity, though, that this underwater exploration too often looks like a typical crowdfunded indie game and not a true gem.

Fire Emblem Heroes is - as promised - a small game that is supposed to invite you to try the big, full version. After many hours of fun I can say that it worked! I'd like some more Emblem, please. This kind of approach to mobile gaming is worth replicating.

Nioh shines! The fighting system is satisfying, Diablo-like loot and character development motivate you to keep playing, and gameplay mechanisms reminiscent of Dark Souls complete the image of a really good game. It combines well-known elements but in the end becomes something else entirely.

It's a good thing that PC gamers can finally get to know Disgaea - both installments are really good. Disgaea 2 is a game for fans of tactical games with Japanese flavor. It's all very charming funny and full of deliberate cheesiness. What's more the character development system and the combat system are great and the system requirements are low.

Kingdom Hearts HD 2.8: Final Chapter Prologue isn't impressive in terms of content when compared to others sets but it's a good example of a 3DS game ported to a big console. It will please the fans; everyone else should steer clear - casual gamers won't understand the phenomenon of this Disney/Final Fantasy hybrid.

It's hard to rate Urban Empire. On one hand we get a really cool mixture of economics, ideology and politics, and the entire game is well made with minimalistic graphics and an excellent soundtrack. On the other hand playing through 200 years o history takes up to 6 hours, which are surprisingly dull.

Journey of the Cursed King on Nintendo 3DS is the definitive version of Dragon Quest VIII. All the improvements and upgrades from the basic PS2 version work great and new content makes it appealing to old fans. I'm certain that every jRPG fan should own this particular game.

It's hard to deny Sanctus Reach a certain aura, peculiar to clashes of miniature figurines on meticulously assembled tabletop battlefields. So, if you feel like devoting your life to the Emperor and have no buddies who'd fancy a tabletop session, or you're just not interested in collecting figurines, you should definitely give Sanctus Reach a try. Just remember--it's for hardcore strategy fans only.

Resident Evil VII is an amazingly done return of the famous series. The change of perspective is like a breath of fresh air, the story is engaging and interesting, the atmosphere is superb and everything runs smoothly. The 11 hours we spend on the Baker farm prove that Capcom is in great shape. A few months ago I wouldn't have chosen RE7 as a game of the year contender, but now I'm not so sure.

Yakuza 0 is not for everybody but it the perfect game to introduce you to this series. Over the years lots of unique elements became better and better and Y0 is a prequel - that means an easier transition. There are some technical issues, and some cut-scenes could be shorter but overall this crazy, colorful adventure is worth your time.

The official launch of War Thunder reminded me why I like this game so much. It's adorably chaotic - in contrast to the reliably designed World of Tanks. That's why it can be really fun and frustrating at the same time. There's tons of great vehicles (and the planes are superb!) and a difficult simulation mode, but there are also balance and technical issues.

Gravity Rush 2 is a great sandbox. It's a game set in a unique universe with a very cool girl hero. This world contains tons of fun side-quests that often distract you from the main storyline. GR2 is a true gem among all there boring open worlds made from a template. It deserves your attention.

Super Mario Run is a very good mobile game without microtransactions or annoying ads, which turns out to be short. Is it worth a fairly large amout of money for just a few hours of fun? If you like platformers, the answer is simple: yes! And I'm thrilled about it.

Space Hulk: Deathwing shouldn't have been released just yet. There was a chance for an excellent game with heavy atmosphere and a great gameplay model. Unfortunately, right now this product looks unfinished and instead of a recommendation you get a warning: there are some serious technical issues and doubtful solutions there. You should check Deathwing out but not yet - wait for the patches.

Telltale's Batman is quite an attempt at refreshing this sub-genre - I had fun and was surprised a couple of times. Unfortunately, the thing that was lacking were strong emotions. Also, the technical side leaves a lot to be desired. This Batman has everything in the right places but that doesn't translate into something truly inspired.

Dear fans of winter sports and speeding down a slope. Steep is a weak game that isn't worth your attention. The graphics are ugly, the technical side leaves a lot to be desired and the big open world is boring. Sure, it's not the worst game about skiing and snowboarding, but that's hardly a quote the developers want on the box, right?

The fifteenth part of the Final fantasy saga marks the long awaited return of the series to the group of the best RPG games. Here you'll find all the things you love about FF and even more. The developers have created a world that will keep you engaged for many hours and the stories of all the characters will stay with you long after the end credits roll. Sure, there are some minor issues, but they won't make me love this game any less.

The magic is back in the world of Euro Truck Simulator 2. Vive la France! has some visual flaws and a mediocre traffic system but is definitely worth its price tag. We get many new locations, thousands of kilometers of roads, new suppliers, new merchandise and some really pretty French countryside views. Apparently ETS2 is going to live a very long and successful life.

The Dwarves is a really uneven RPG. It has some original ingredients and can be quite fun but sooner or later the joy is destroyed by weak combat and an empty world. And even if you become fond of the story or characters, ultimately you'll be disappointed by the short time needed to finish the game.

Highly anticipated The Last Guardian is finally here and its technical condition is so poor that I will not be surprised if someone decides to ask for a refund. Still, after a dozen hours I'm certain that my time spent with Trico was truly moving and really unique. There were moments of true agony (in terms of smoothness of gameplay and other technical aspects) but I'm willing to pay such a price for a beautiful story and an experience unlike any other.

Don't dismiss the Hawaiian atmosphere and old gameplay core right off the bat. Pokémon Sun has some cool improvements and is diverse enough to make it feel almost as good as legendary Pokémon X, Y or Black and White. Fans of the series don't need convincing but everyone else should give the new Pokémon game a chance - Sun is made for playing.

Silence is an enchanting tale that will make you cry and laugh with its excellent atmosphere, storyline and graphics. Even though everything looks and feels great, the difficulty level is very low and there are no demanding puzzles. You need to ask yourself what kind of gamer you are and what you find most important.

Assassin's Creed: The Ezio Collection is a remaster that wasn't treated with true care and attention. The games themselves are still great and this package should be recommended to fans who need to own all the boxes with AC logo, or to those few people who don't know this great story. The graphics are nicer but there's no 60 fps, old technical issues are still present and there is almost no additional content.

Planet Coaster is a game that not only matches classic tycoon games in quality - it surpasses them in many ways. If you have a designer's soul or a crazy architect's touch and like to create beautiful, detailed amusement parks, you couldn't have found a better game. Planet Coaster really is one of the best. It would be perfect if only it had a better, more complicated economy mechanism.

Transport Fever is a game with lots of strong features - it has a great array of well made vehicles, the single-player campaign is interesting and the joy of creating a complex transport organism is great. Then why almost every part of the game had to be burdened with issues of different kind and magnitude? It's a cool game that never lives up to its potential.

Dishonored 2 is a well made but safe sequel. You won't find a revolution here only minor improvements to well known mechanics. Of course there are some new things but most of them will be appreciated only by true veterans of the previous game. Fortunately, Arkane's new game surprised me more than once and all in all left a very good impression. But it could have been so much more.

Tyranny is a game of many contrasts and will stir come controversy. On one hand w have an impression that every dialogue counts and we're always deep inside the main quest (even though we're doing something else). On the other hand there are many gameplay solutions that look like torn out from a much more complex game and they don't get to shine. The beginning is superb - later the game loses some of its appeal.

Batman: Arkham VR is an interesting and well made adventure. The whole thing may be too short and suffers from some technical issues but getting to know this story directly from Batman's perspective is an extraordinary feeling. We may know the mechanics and atmosphere but the VR really makes it worth your while.
