    Sanctus Reach is a classic turn-based strategy game, full of good ideas and with a high number of campaigns that guarantee many hours of entertainment. The three levels of difficulty ensure that it is suitable for both experts in the genre and for beginners.

    Warhammer 40,000: Sanctus Reach provides deep gameplay with a simple recipe: easy-to-learn combat rules and units… lots and lots of unique units. Despite minor bugs and a lack of flair – no cutscenes, little narrative, not much in the way of physics – Sanctus Reach is a solid entry in the Warhammer franchise, and an excellent turn-based tactical game to boot.

    Sanctus Reach is a cool and fun turn-based 3D wargame that fans of Warhammer 40K will no doubt lap up. I had a lot of fun with it and I'm certainly going to be stepping back into our dark human future for more.

    It's hard to deny Sanctus Reach a certain aura, peculiar to clashes of miniature figurines on meticulously assembled tabletop battlefields. So, if you feel like devoting your life to the Emperor and have no buddies who'd fancy a tabletop session, or you're just not interested in collecting figurines, you should definitely give Sanctus Reach a try. Just remember--it's for hardcore strategy fans only.

    These flashes of satisfaction aren't enough to hold up a game that’s mediocre at best and vexing at worst. Together with a host of minor annoyances, they add up to a long, dull stint with a bad game from a great franchise that deserves far better treatment.

    Good game. At launch it was just ok, nothing to make Emperor proud. But now, after 3 dlc campaigns, it's very easy to recommend.

    Pros:
    + solid core gameplay mechanics (cover, morale system, flanking, XP, skills)
    + HUGE selection fo units (you decide what units to bring before mission starts)
    + the most accurate representation of Wh 40k board game
    + graphic - avarage but attention to details on units and scenery is great
    + great XP/leveling system but in some cases units can become a bit OP (I'm looking at you teleporting Dreadnought with master-crafted weapon and void shield)

    Cons:
    - minor bugs (some are very annoying)
    - graphic is just ok, like I said above
    - all on one planet / not much variety in landscape
    - first campaign is a bit boring
    - no real story

    Overall, still good turn-base strategy game. Just don't play it on easy. And if devs will add more races it will be must have for every Warhammer 40k fan.    … Expand

    For me this game was a very strange experience. The first 2 missions didn't get me interested in the game. The first few times that I sat down to play it, it was not exiting, I just had some time and got bored of Civilization, Panzer Corps or Crusader Kings. Once I got playing I could not stop and was fully engaged. Now that its finished I cant wait for expansions.

    The Bad:
    - very simplified briefings. Much could be improved here
    - the maps and the environment are graphically very simple
    - need more in game explanation of what each unit does
    - some balancing is needed
    - some small bugs
    -weird controls; they didn't feel logical even after playing the whole game
    - missions are unbalanced; some skirmishes can be difficult now that the time to finish has been shortened. On the other hand some of the later missions are easy to finish with minimal losses

    The Good:
    - good looking units
    - feels like a good translation of the Table Top game to PC's
    - its WH40k
    - nice choice of units
    - a semblance of unit progress; would be nice if we could make some choices here but at the moment its random
    - some epic battles where you really are not sure you can stop the ork waves
    - once you get into it and understand the rules it becomes really fun    … Expand

The AI is either completely stupid or is cheating by having unlimited reinforcements (especially in the Red WAAAGH DLC campaign the AI has overpowered ork units and gets reinforcements in most missions this is extremely annoying and not fun). Most of the missions are extremely repetitive along with poorly designed maps. it also comes along with mediocre sound effects most units sound dumb there is nothing epic about them. I wish a better company made this game.… Expand

Hope you random into something useful!), terrible unit balance, awful AI (Once you have Land Speeders, you win, because the AI can't fight them), and EXTREMELY lazy campaigns. I think it was as I watched Melta and Krak Missile fire (Two of your strongest anti-tank options) bounce of a Deff Dread that I realized they weren't even trying to make this game fun. It's not fluffy, it's not based on the minis game, and it's not the result of effort. Avoid this over priced mess.… Expand
