This is a good turn based tactics game but doesn't do any special in the genre but is a good fan service for warhammer fans ( i like warhammer games but not fan ).Especially by the many units and rpg elements but missions are repetive . My opinion : kinda boring

Sanctus Reach is a classic turn-based strategy game, full of good ideas and with a high number of campaigns that guarantee many hours of entertainment. The three levels of difficulty ensure that it is suitable for both experts in the genre and for beginners.

Sanctus Reach does not offer scale or presentation comparable to Total War series, but it has the charm of an old school turn-based strategy game and seems to be a great basis for future Warhammer 40,000 titles. [03/2017, p.46]

Sanctus Reach took a lot from tabletop rules, but not everything: for example, action points, square-based grid, abilities with long recharge time – all that has little to do with original Warhammer 40k. Although the game does get some things right: victory depends on control of key points, number of turns is limited, and RNG is just as capricious as dice: misses with point-blank shots and instant kills with lucky crits are par for the course here.
