Fallout Shelter is not a big, complex and ambitious game but it works great as a way to kill some time before Fallout 4. It's fun, atmospheric, offers lots of good gameplay and simply put - keeps you glued to your screen. You can't expect much more from a typical mobile game aimed at a mass audience.

Batman: Arkham Knight is a great ending to a terrific trilogy created with one simple rule in mind: if it's not broken, don't fix it. The game may be missing some of its gothic atmosphere and there are far too many batmobile vs tanks sequences but a well known gameplay formula does the trick again. My meeting with the Arkham Knight was extremely enjoyable.

Invisible Inc. is based on strategy and long-term planning. Surviving the next turn is all that matters - the player's actions are rewarded with great satisfaction. The game suffers from a small variety of levels and mission types but it still shows that Klei Entertainment is at the top of their game among independent developers.

Carmageddon: Reincarnation is - on one hand - a game with lots of satisfying details, great gameplay and cool bloody atmosphere. On the other - it's quite ugly and the technology used to make it tick is mediocre at best. The new Carmageddon is aimed first and foremost at the fans of the original games and even they will notice that there's still some work to be done.

Magicka 2 is a love-hate kind of game. Whether you'll like or dislike it after the first hour depends largely on the knowledge of the previous game. On one hand it's still the same Magicka: pretty, funny, great in co-op and with an excellent spell system. On the other, it's not much of a sequel and looks more like a set of different DLCs.

Heroes of the Storm Has some small flaws (mainly associated with micro-transactions and the technical side) but all in all is a very good game. It doesn't copy things from other games and freshens up the MOBA genre in a really satisfying way. While playing HOTS I have never felt alienated, bored or unnecessary.

An interactive book with lots of pretty pictures, a virtual movie with a great atmosphere. Kholat is somewhere between keeping the player engaged and making him/her bored. The game's strongest assets are: grim atmosphere and a very interesting place the action is set in. It's worth taking a shot.

Hatred is a very playable game for fans of adrenaline and bloody thrills, although the content of the game is a bit controversial. The game could be longer, more diverse and better optimized (Unreal Engine 4 is hungry for power). And given the overall quality Hatred did not deserve all the media buzz surrounding its development and most likely it won't be remembered in a few years' time.

Earthcore is a really well-made free card game. The rules are simple but you need to keep in mind that the game relies heavily on randomness and chaos (and that won't sit well with some of you). Still, the game is really fun and sooner or later you'll probably forget about these minor issues.

Witcher 3 is an excellent game with tons of strong points that shine over all minor issues. The PC version is extremely pretty, works great and has room for some interesting alterations in terms of the visual side. The content is, of course, great and extremely diverse: The Wild Hunt is pretty much several games merged into one. Some quests are so long and interesting that they could become a separate game! It's a true gem and it's hard to think what will happen when the developers introduce the REDKit.

The Witcher 3 is a game aiming for highest praise - you simply can't get enough of it. The need to see what happens next kept me glued to the console for many more hours than I had planned. Unfortunately the The Wild Hunt isn't perfect - the number of smaller and bigger issues can surprise (in a bad way, of course). It is an amazing game but right now the amount of bugs is simply too high.

Mortal Kombat X is the best beat'em up game for current-gen consoles but it's not as good as the previous installment. You'll like Faction Wars, a new way of activating brutalities or some story-wise improvements and you'll miss some characters (the new ones not always rise up to the challenge) or the challenge tower. It's good but could be great.

Assassin's Creed Chronicles: China turned out to be a really decent product. There's something here for the fans of Mark of the Ninja, as well as the lovers of classic, platform-jumping Princes of Persia. This cycle will be expanded the same way the big AC games are - and judging from what I have seen, it should turn out not bad at all.

The PC Verizon of GTA V is almost perfect. The superb base version is well known and loved, but the optimization, controls and new options knock it out of the park. Of course there were some issues with the game after the launch - so many delays should have eliminated these kinds of setbacks and for that the final grade goes down a bit. But when you finally get to play GTA V on your PC you'll be amazed.

Car Mechanic Simulator 2015 isn't an expensive DLC for the previous game. It's a big, standalone product with lots of interesting changes that diversify the gameplay and eliminate the feeling of being shown what to do at specific times. We get many new parts and cars, and a sensible experience system smoothly introduces the player to new things. And even if there's still some boredom here and there, the sequel looks just fine.

Jaws of Hakkon is a peculiar add-on. If you have finished all quests in Dragon Age: Inquisition and still have an urge to explore this fantastic world or fight some monsters, this DLC will provide several hours of great fun. If you put the story in the first place and still have some unfinished quests, Jaws of Hakkon aren't for you.

From Software did it again - they have created a demanding, satisfying and superbly designed game. Some ideas are well known but the whole package feels original and unique. There are some minor issues here and there and still they don't bother the player. Bloodborne's world pulls you in with blood, new technology and a great artistic vision. A truly excellent game.

Obsidian has targeted a very specific audience for this game. It's aimed at someone like me - a fan of Baldur's Gate and Planescape Torment. Someone who loves long documents, tactical battles, complex mechanics and stylish graphics. Pillars of Eternity isn't just a tribute - it's definitely more than that. It's a new, unique thing that sometimes surpasses the great cRPGs from the past.

Hotline Miami 2 is everything we knew from the original turned up to 11. Some things could have been crafted differently (especially the way the story is presented) but the end result is stunning nonetheless. Hotline Miami 2 is the best incarnation of the series and a must buy for every fan of the original. Everyone else should wait for a price drop - this game can make you crazy frustrated.

White Night could have been one of the best horror games in recent years. It has a great, creepy atmosphere, demanding puzzles and an original look. It's a shame that after only a few moments everything stops being enjoyable due to some very questionable gameplay solutions. Camerawork, saving system and a weird play style don't make the player more scared, they make him more frustrated.

I'm guessing a patch will eliminate crashes I have experienced - then I'll be able to call the PC version of Assassin's Creed: Rogue a well made and optimized port. Everything really looks better and runs much smoother. Ubisoft seems to sail in the right direction but to see if some conclusions were made from Unity's flawed debut we'll have to wait till the premiere of AC: Victory.

Homeworld Remastered Collection is one of the best reissues ever. This package has been prepared by fans for fans. The graphics look phenomenal, the gameplay model did not age at all and the satisfaction after completing some more difficult missions is as big as it used to be 15 years ago. Gearbox simply nailed it.

Dragon Ball: Xenoverse is a weird game. Fans of the TV show should be very pleased but the game still disappoints in many ways. It suffers from lack of focus. The single player campaign is weak and everything is saved by the multiplayer mode. The consequence is this: solo gamers and fans of typical beat'em up games won't have much to do here.

The Order: 1886 is a pretty good game, nothing else. Almost every part can be criticized: the story flows nicely but is extremely predictable, the fights are good, but only the ones with people in them (lycan fights are boring), graphics are gorgeous, but the world feels empty. Sir Galahad's adventure is yet another bit of proof that beauty isn't enough. You should see The Order in motion but do so only after some significant discounts.

Sunless Sea is one of the most interesting virtual journeys I've had recently. The stories we read during playing are definitely one of the best and most original - but after some time everything becomes a routine. Pratchett or Lovecraft fans will find something here but for everyone else it's a lottery. Simply put: Sunless Sea isn't for everyone.

Evolve is a game with an interesting, original concept and good execution that suffers from lack of diversity. The game has enormous potential and playing with a team of good friends should provide tons of fun - the battles are really intense. It is a real shame that Evolve doesn't really "evolve" into something great - this feast tastes good but consists of only one dish that after some time gets bland.

Atilla is the same for Rome II, as Napoleon was for Empire - a very interesting and playable expansion. But is Total War: Attila interesting for fans of the entire series? Definitely! It's a game aimed at Medieval II enthusiasts. You get diverse factions, a correct strategy map and a great nation management system based on a tech tree and family tree. It's not perfect but it is very good.

Raven's Cry is an embodiment of the term "wasted opportunity". On the basis of a great atmosphere and some interesting ideas there grew a game making an awful first impression, a game full of bugs and a wobbly gameplay. Right now Raven's Cry isn't worth its price tag but don't forget about it - after some patches and a significant price drop it should be playable.

Grim Fandango is a work of art but the remastered edition leaves some things to be desired. The original is worth every praise - the remaster is not. It's still a great game but when a developer tries to freshen up old classics for the younger generation it has to be done right. In other words - it's almost the exactly the same case as with Heroes of Might & Magic III HD.

In terms of gameplay mechanic, Dying Light is great - we have excellent parkour and a very good day-night cycle. Unfortunately 99% of quests (and there are lots of them) are cut from the same cloth. The game looks fantastic, but on some PCs you won't be able to play comfortably (due to technical issues). But despite all that (and a lack of interesting story), Dying Light is a very decent game for the fans of the zombie apocalypse.
