If you are looking for something you can immediately just throw in the drive and start playing this is it. If you are looking for re-playability, you may want to pass on this one.

Joint Assault isn't the worst Ace Combat game we've seen, but the ambition has waned a little bit.

Good expansion, just not good enough to buy both the original and expansion to play it.

More development time ultimately might have done wonderful things for this game, but Singularity is nonetheless fascinating if you actually take advantage of your full arsenal.

I like all three games in this collection. They are easy to pick up and play, and fun enough to warrant repeat play. That's the definition of good gaming. I don't think this translates as much fun for more than solo playing.

Planet Puzzle League set the bar extremely high for puzzle games, especially with the use of Wi-Fi; and while NEVES doesn’t come close to the slick presentation of PPL, it has a very solid gameplay mechanic that will be attractive to fans of the game.

Line-quoting Ghostbusters aficionados should have no trouble overlooking the game’s occasional gameplay flaws to revel in the fun concepts and remarkable fan service Ghostbusters: The Video Game provides on the DS. Even when a tad flawed, bustin’ feels good.

This may not capture the fancy of hard-core gamers who like to battle mobs in real time, but relaxing into the pacing of the game provides a lightly entertaining experience.

The puzzles and tasks get a little repetivite in this sequel, and the overall gameplay isn't quite as fun as before. The camera control is definitely worse, and can get quite irritating at times.

In many ways, Cities XL 2011 is similar to Civilization V. Although not nearly as grand in scope, there's a sense of pride after taking a squalid ghetto and nurturing it into a pristine metropolis.

Though you see the initial action (as in the pitcher delivering the ball and the batter swinging) in real time, the replays don’t show the ball actually hitting the bat, nor the outfielder, or infielder, actually gloving the ball. It all just disappears as it gets close to the contact point.

While not a horrible game by any means; Wanted: Weapons of Fate has its share of fun action-packed moments that runs out of steam way too quickly. With linear levels and poor enemy AI, it’s hard to enjoy the game’s awesome gunplay. This one is worth the look if you liked the movie and the graphic novel.

It's like the meals that you buy in order to get the game - not 5-star, but it will fill you up long enough to get you by until the next big thing comes along.

An intriguing storyline helps carry Blood Omen 2 past the fangs of graphical flaws.

An entertaining adventure game with just enough variety and inventive puzzles to please fans of the movie or books. There are certainly a few rough spots here and there and the visuals are not as eye-catching as they should be but the game has a number of fun moments that should not be missed by fans of the series.

Underworld shows Tomb Raider still has something relevant and fun to offer gamers, but a lack of polish has diminished its enjoyability.

The sound track leaves something to be desired. The music is good, and the effects are typical or what one would expect, but the vocal characterizations are not that good, and the game is laced with strong language (profanity).

The lack of an uninstall feature is a major detriment to this program.

Web of Shadows isn't as immersive as some of the 3D Spider-Man titles, and its repetitive combat and level structure could turn off some players in the long-term. But it's a solid rental, no question, and should definitely be played by fans of the GBA version of Spider-Man 3.

There are only four games, and the overall design of each is pretty similar across the board. There are lots of tracks to unlock, but they don't differ much from each other substantially.

A neat gaming experience for young kids, who will enjoy the feeling of success, instead of the all-too-often sense of frustration as they attempt to play games that are too difficult.

Players will feel a real sense of accomplishment upon completing each one. However, there isn’t anything else to do in this game, and once the puzzles are solved, there is no going back and replaying.

A light action shooter that offers good, solid gameplay without any surprises. It’s entertaining and not too difficult, but the drawback is the shortness of play and the lack of replay value.

With the little features here and there, along with the above average graphics for this genre, I'd easily recommend it to anyone that likes a theme-sim game. Also, a great way to spend time with family (especially youngsters!!) and learn more about animals.

Though it does have some solid elements borrowed from the series as a whole, this seems like a rushed title that really does more of a disservice than it does to advances the series.

Mastering some of the techniques will present a real challenge and the story line and characters are cute and appealing.

Dewey is a little over the top for older gamers, but a little too complicated for really young gamers. Either way it provides a decent amount of fun and a very unique take on your average water droplet.

Tomb Raider: Legend for the PSP is riddled with technical problems but it still managed to cram in all the great things we loved about the console version.

Certain aspects such as the graphics and the virtual simulated store have merit, but the gameplay itself doesn't push this game ahead of the pack.

Fans of the genre (who will definitely buy a gun) should get a couple hours of enjoyment.

This game has some problems but is somewhat soothing. An accessible interface, the challenge of grabbing wind with the right sails, and dazzling sea effects make for a solid experience.

It is a fun game, and will provide enough challenge for your child - without distracting them too much from the purpose of the game. The child will learn, and have fun doing it. 'Nuff said!

Cradle of Rome is surprisingly addictive, easy to play, and challenging from a number of different angles.

After about the sixth level of shooting anything that moves, players may get bored, unless they really like shooters.

It’s not the prettiest, nor the best sounding game around, far from it, but the gameplay gives it a heart and soul a lot of technically superior games can only dream of, making Excitebike relevant all these years after its original release.

MLB 09 doesn’t set new grounds, but it does a serviceable job not screwing everything up. Last year’s version was somewhat better, so it’s unfortunate that this year’s iteration took a step back.

If all you are looking for is a good-looking program and a reason to shoot just about everything that moves, this could be the program you are looking for.

FATE is a wonderful example of game mechanics, visuals, and level design orchestrated into a cohesive experience. Regrettably, that experience is also very short and anticlimactic. BIT.TRIP FATE isn't my favorite entry in the series, but it is an incredibly unique shooter that is enjoyable while it lasts.

The brighter colors means that, even if you weren't lucky or financially stable enough to pick up a GBA SP, you'll still be able to see the game pretty clearly.

The physics need major work, the AI seems a little funny, the sound is terrible, and frankly, the racing just isn't that exciting.

Lego Star Wars III should easily be the best the series has to offer. With superior graphics and a decent variety of game styles, it easily overcomes any shortcomings in narrative. Unfortunately, the same problems that have plagued previous Lego games are still on display: difficult to control vehicles, overly simplified combat, unresponsive controls, glitches, drawn out levels, and poor guidance.

A good collection of once-great hits – some that have stood the test of time, and some that have not.

Everything or Nothing may not be Bond’s most shining moment as far as GBA games go, but there is still some fun to be had in this third-person action game.

The new content does its job of keeping the appeal factor high, but the bugs, lack of story depth and uninteresting characters don’t exactly invite in newcomers.

What boosts it from the average title is the combination of excellent graphics and solid game play.

This is a good time for a good price.

Fans of the early Spider-Man games will certainly get a kick out of Web of Shadows and, thanks to a number of interesting features; it’s one of the better PSP games featuring the Web-slinger. Still, there are some issues that do hold this game back from being a truly amazing superhero game but what is here is still fun if you’re looking for solid portable Spider-Man game.

Controls are rather stiff and PC-like, giving you less maneuverability than desired.

With the graphics firmly in place, and the gameplay simplified, this is a game that really should build the foundation for a major step into the limelight. FIFA Street 3 is fine, but lacks a robust variety of game modes, and thus suffers for it.

Offers a decent amount of fun building and designing exhibits, but with no ability to build from "scratch" and a small variety of animals, the enjoyment level may soon falter... The ability to choreograph the animal shows is the best feature.

The game would have benefited from a release date of last summer. It is a decent enough game, but just does not hold a candle to the other group of truly next-gen FPS on the 360.

If party games are your thing and you love the One Piece series, Pirates' Carnival will satisfy your craving for a multiplayer board game.

Although this game may be somewhat too challenging it is fun and would make a good addition to your army game collection.

Need for Speed Undercover makes a good attempt to recapture the visceral sense of racing that the series made its name on, but doesn’t bring much new to the table.

Unfortunately, SWAT: Global Strike Team doesn’t quite capture the true essence of the tactical squad-based action genre in ways other games before it does.

Safari Rescue is too simplistic to be for everyone, but the younger set to which the game is geared should enjoy the varied gameplay.

A nice attempt to reboot the franchise, NCAA Basketball 09 adds some new features and revamps the on-court play, but ultimately feels like a flawed and barebones college basketball experience.

Victoria newbies will definitely look upon the game with confused glares at first, and even after going through the extensive tutorial, might find themselves scratching their heads with confusion more often than not.

Even with the bonus goodies, Wreckless is still that extremely fun game that loses it charms way too quickly.

With a value price and sentimental value for long-time Castlevania fans, Castlevania Chronicles is a must have to the collection for fans of the series. However, outsiders to the following may not be very impressed by the older-looking graphics and gameplay – even with the minimal upgrades of "arranged" mode.

Accessible, with an easy-to-learn control scheme, this game should appeal to younger players while still providing a minor challenge for slightly older players.

Its repetitive nature might outweigh its accessibility, but the basic mechanics work pretty well. Without any excessive violence or questionable content throughout, this is probably one of the better ways to keep relatives occupied during the holiday season.

The missions are short and to the point, which works out nicely but if you’re use to exploration EverQuest style, then you’re in for a disappointment.

If you're not tear-jerked over MK's greatness, it's doubtful that the other games will have you reaching for a handkerchief.

For quick, pick me up & play game, Monster Truck Madness will not disappoint. The 3D graphics are impressive and the racing is smooth & polished. However those gamers looking for a more in-depth racing experience will be disappointed.

The gameplay is very familiar and the only major hold up is the lack of camera control. It makes the journey a bit more frustrating at times.

If Codemasters can covert a hardcore arcade loyalist like myself, I can only imagine how quickly it will steal the soul of a true F1 fan.

Knights in the Nightmare is truly a unique experience, blending two very opposing genres together. The insane learning curve will no doubt be off-putting, but players who stick it out will find an addictive battle system that will be hard to put down.
