My hat's off to the folks at XSEED for coming up with a pretty nifty idea. But there is the kind of frustration felt in this game that will really turn off some players.

Even with the reasonable price tag, you won’t help but feel that there could have been more to this title or at least it could have ironed out all the problems found in the original.

The animation is fine, the environmental graphics simplistic, but this still manages to be a nice RTS for the GBA platform.

It's not perfect, but it is a great addition to the genre, and unparalleled on XBLA.

While it’s not as satisfying as the Cooking Mama series, there’s a lot to love about Mama’s garden. Gardening Mama’s mini-games are fun in short bursts but totally cute enough to show you and your Stylus a good time.

There’s a lot of variety to the levels and the teamwork aspect is pretty good but ultimately this is a portable action game that could have a lot better.

Considered solely as an adventure game, Evil Under the Sun is a slightly above-average mystery game. The characters are interesting, the dialogue engaging, and the puzzles are fun. However, when considered as a homage to Agatha Christie, it leaves much to be desired.

A decent simulation with cute animals, always a sure bet for kids and all lovers of nature. There are a few rough edges, but there are also more things to do than in "Zoo Tycoon," and the price is better.

It's hard to dislike a game that piles on various side missions, secrets to uncover and a number of upgrades. Then again, the game's glitches will not fail to frustrate.

Mabinogi is a great MMO for gamers who aren't looking to grind levels or raid 20 man dungeons for epic loots, but rather enjoy a colorful, online world that gives the player a sense of freedom when it comes to developing their character.

The game has charm. The look and sound are nicely done, but the game is just too short and does not present any major or innovative challenges.

Like Strider before it, Moon Diver is a repetitive button masher that will enthrall you regardless of its shortcomings.

The lack of variety within game modes, annoying music and repetitious combat left me with the same feeling I had after playing through the original.

Where Jack fails to succeed is an issue that will never be fully resolved in gaming: repetition. Samurai Jack is the same thing over and over. It never changes, never evolves.

More development time ultimately might have done wonderful things for this game, but Singularity is nonetheless fascinating if you actually take advantage of your full arsenal.

Puzzle Scape is another flavor thrown into the mix, merging elements of a Nintendo classic with ideas that had not been previously explored. The resulting product is one of challenge, one of entertainment, and unfortunately – without any significant challenges aside from a list of repeated objectives – one of slowness and repetition.

The game itself is very fun, once you get used to the interface. I’m also very impressed with the level of realism the developers have produced in this title.

This is a fun game for girls and one that will keep their attention for awhile, with the amount of things to do. However, it’s really designed for young girls, not for older ones. At the same time, the interface may be a bit tricky for very young players. Parents will need to help the youngest navigate the game in the beginning. A good choice for families with young children.

Not for everyone. Way of the Samurai 3 is positively different from other sword fighters, but its RPG elements might be too much for some players to bear, even those wanting to experience the combat.

A solid, whimsical mini-game collection targeted equally at boys and girls.

The environments aren't as LEGO-y as the fans will desire, but on the bright side the gameplay is akin to "Baldur's Gate" and will entertain you until the end. The end comes fast though. Keep that in mind.

Sonic CD is fine game, however, and Sonic R and Sonic the Fighters are worth checking out at the very least. Any fan of Sonic really ought to pick it up.

The sound effects are so realistic that one may wonder if the sound of geese is coming from the game or outside their own window.

Straightforward, easy-to-follow exploration and button-mash gameplay. Fun for kids but severely repetitive.

A button-masher for gamers under 12. It won't rock anyone's world, but if you know a kid who loves these Nicktoons characters and enjoys simple, battle-filled games, Globs of Doom is one of SpongeBob's better adventures.

It's a simpler fighting game, but I think that the UFC followers will really get into it. The cheap price doesn't hurt either.

Burn Zombie Burn is a fun little zombie-shooter with appealing game modes and plenty of action. Unfortunately, the complete lack of multiplayer is a missed opportunity indeed.

The controls are not hard to master; it is only the obstacles and other drivers that present the hardest portion of this program. It is enjoyable.

WWE SmackDown vs. RAW 2008 does a few things right, but doesn’t really bring the game to a whole new level like it should.

I did like this game, and loved the variety of lures and lush scenery. It is among the best I have ever seen in such a game. There are just some missing aspects of the actual casting, catching and ability to land the treasured Trophy fish.

A brief visit with an old friend that rekindles fond memories, this iteration of Freddi Fish is handled nicely. It seems to be on track for the targeted age group and is a treat with the light graphics and sound.

There are a lot of different types of animals, which is good, and they are attractive in their appearance. The longevity is questionable, as there’s not much incentive to play once all the animals have been treated. The price isn’t bad for a console game, though, at $30. Best for families with young children.

On one hand, Spider-Man can perform a wide range of moves that are easily executed but on the other hand, the levels are generic and require keycards and backtracking, ugh.

It’s a nice try but for my money I would stick with the recent and far [] superior Medal of Honor game for the PSP.

The game is a great edition of the popular board game, while the lack of online play and gameplay features don’t quite let it shine among other Xbox 360 games.

It looks a little stretched, but it was either that or a smaller picture with black bars. No question, I'll take the stretched version.

Worth renting for any lover of the Wii shooter style, especially if you want to experience more motion-driven technology.

Many of the games - including a few of the unlockable classics (like Yar’s Revenge) - fit wonderfully on the PSP. Then there are games like Centipede where the control scheme is not very well suited for Sony’s handheld and thus will become the games you will avoid.

U:OW is worth a buy for those seeking to use brain over brawn to dash the hopes of the Nazis. In order to get the most out of the game, however, gamers will likely have to overlook the spotty voice acting and a generally uninteresting protagonist and focus more on the larger goal of disrupting the Nazis’ plans.

You will undoubtedly experience a sense of déjà vu from playing previous Dragon Ball Z games, but the 2-on-2 fights and the expansive battlefields make the free-flying fights intense and enjoyable.

Fans of games such as H.A.W.X., that rely on fast paced arcade controls might find Apache a bit too slow for their tastes, especially with the odd omission of competitive multiplayer. Still, it manages to fill a void in a genre that combat flight sim enthusiasts haven't yet experienced on next-gen consoles.

Nothing deep here but even though the game has very arcade-like roots, taken as a package it works. The scored missions give a reason to try to achieve a quick and efficient solution. This may not be a game that you will sit down and spend hours with, but in increments you should walk away with a smile on your face.

Tokyo Beat Down is a fun and shallow beat-'em-up that occasionally veers off path.

While the PSP version has its share of foibles, it still does a great job of capturing the spirit of the game.

When you aren't throwing your controller in frustration over the pitching controls, you might actually enjoy MLB 2K11. The 2K series offers a quality title and is moving in the right direction with their baseball games, but haven't yet perfected the formula like competitors are starting to do.

Carol Vorderman’s Sudoku is a good game for the PSP that offers a ton of gameplay options to keep you busy. If you’re looking for a Sudoku game then look no farther then Carol Vorderman’s Sudoku.

The game is still quick, making it a couple tenths more impressive than "NBA Live 07." But its gameplay is repetitive and mirrors that of the last edition – minus the cheapness.

A technically impressive game, but a few weak elements keep it from being a truly great game.

This episode is the weakest this season so far as in terms of humor, but is the strongest in terms of puzzle solving. However, Sam & Max fans want the hysterical gags the series usually offers, so they may be a little disappointed.

It just feels like Drakengard could have used a lot more polish, such as no frame rate issues, a better draw-in distance, and better AI.

Nancy Drew: The White Wolf of Icicle Creek is a slightly above average adventure game for teens and is pretty fun to play. However, this Wii version isn’t quite as good a platform as the PC.

The game does have a sense of urgency to it that will have you playing it for hours on end. The frustration lays in the conversation trees.

Repetitive gameplay aside, the game’s few flaws don’t take away from the action or cool options. This is strictly for the fans.

A beautiful spectacle, a colossal challenge, and a lack of action and excitement. The visuals captivate; the gameplay frustrates.

While it has its flaws, Sanctum is a unique and commendable twist on the tower defense genre. The first-person shooter elements and incredibly fun multiplayer aspects offer a fun experience, and with the promise of new downloadable content on the horizon, the game is worth forgoing a few McDonald's Happy Meals to pick it up.

Everything is good about this game except the graphics; the developers really didn’t put any effort into making this game look good at all. It looks like a straight port from the PS2 version.

Supreme Ruler 2020 is as deep and complex as they come, albeit incredibly intimidating.

This is clearly a game that wanted to be a lot of things to a lot of people and while it does a decent job of bringing entertainment and challenge, it is merely an average title.

Sorta like a traffic jam. Its narrow roads feel somewhat congested, and even though there are different roads to take, the path never veers far from the jam.

Boils down to this: if you like Midways racing games, you're going to really enjoy this. If you're not a big fan of racing games or Midway, this probably isn't even going to grab your attention.

Easygoing kid-targeted fun. Fans of 3D side-scrollers like Klonoa and Pandemonium will enjoy this animal adventure.

Even with its share of problems, S.L.A.I. is able to deliver a mech game that is heavy on the action and loaded with all the things mech fans could ever ask for in a game.

With an all too familiar feeling, NBA Jam serves as homage to the games we have lost from yesteryear. What it boils down to is: the gameplay hasn't changed all that much and aside from unlocking the plethora of classic players such as Detlef Schrempf and Chris Mullin, there's little reason to return to NBA Jam after a few hours of play.

The storyline may be old hat, but that does not diminish the adventure. And this program does present an adventure that requires both cerebral and reflexive skills.

The actual game included on the disc is an amateurish platformer at best, and a tremendous waste of potential under scrutiny. Instead, LittleBigPlanet lives and dies on what the community builds, and only therein lies the infinite value made possible by this robust toolset masquerading as a AAA "game."

Real Soccer 2009 is a fun and solid soccer game that works well within its handheld format. However, the game’s lack of an official license for real teams and it’s relatively slim presentation of game modes are marks against it.

The game starts out with a bang, with vision and a challenge, and then becomes more of the same, over and over. The bosses get tougher, the objectives are more defined, but aside from going back and trying again at a tougher difficulty level, once through the game, there is not much reason to go back.

The actual puzzles follow the same base format, albeit with some different bents that create different challenges as you move through. While there are a number of mini-games, they are all basically the same thing and though the storyline does attempt to drive the gameplay forward, it does miss the boat.

Samantha Swift and the Hidden Roses of Athena is an enjoyable casual game. It's the type of game you pick up and play for a little while, only to notice a couple of hours went by. Not only is it a fun time waster, but it allows for multiple playthroughs thanks to its varied item lists. Casual fans take notice.

Guwange is an excellent shmup with a genuinely unique mechanic that I eagerly recommend, so long as you're ready for a trip back to the '90s.

An average arcade demolition game that does have a good range of features but suffers from game play that is basically the same thing over and over.

Different control schemes, GameCenter achievements, and a Score Attack mode round out the additional content, making this a very solid package, albeit one more expensive than the usual one dollar app.

There are some neat visuals here and fans will certainly love choosing their favorite Digimon and battling against a friend in multiplayer mode, but this is a game that loses its appeal pretty quickly even for die hard fans.

It’s a fairly well done one but the controls are not nearly as precise [as "Crazy Taxi"], the moves not nearly as cool and the concept is more stale than Apu's old donuts.

There are some players who will undoubtedly love Okamiden, either because the flaws (such as backtracking) are not as familiar or because they have the capacity to overlook its myriad mistakes. I wish I could do the same.

A disappointment. I can’t imagine this game being targeted for anything other than the fledgling adventurer.

The graphics and the sound both are very good. A very different interface system makes it fairly easy to move from one area to the next. The game actually has a great amount of depth to it and the "town" is quite large.

Easy to get started and few commands required to play the game. Unfortunately you repeatedly play some of the same pranks over and over, but still quite entertaining.

Ultimately your enjoyment of Re:Coded will stem from how much you like or loathe the Kingdom Hearts side-stories.

Need an RTS fix? Giant Fighting Robot fan? Look no further.

There is very little satisfaction in the gameplay and completion of levels-- which is what games are all about.

The sloppy camera ruins a lot of fun that this game has to offer. The only good thing is the amount of gadgets that Ethan has available.

This is a decent enough game, and for the first 10-20 minutes you may find yourself grimacing at the rag-doll antics of your far-flung friend. Then it gets redundant. The challenge is still there but that is about all the game has going for it once the ‘impact’ of the graphics wears off.

A niche interest game and will leave other sim enthusiasts wanting something more vast. If you need something to fill your needs until you can get back up the mountain, I'd recommend this game easily.

Hot Brain is a fun little game but can start to feel repetitive after a while. The inclusion of unlockables and infrastructure wireless multiplayer would have been nice.
