The loading times and the occasional stuttering took off visibly on my nerves after 40 to 50 hours. That, together with the still not perfect enemy AI, may be criticism at a high level, but ultimately prevents Wasteland 3 from becoming a great role-playing game - you have to be satisfied with a very good one.

Another adventure from Germany with a fascinating story and great atmosphere, both off the beaten track of the usual fantasy and historical backgrounds. It may even be the best modern crime and horror adventure, but why did the developers feel the need for lame mini-puzzles and an open end?

It may be due to the charming look and the likeable DIY approach of the hobby astronauts of Holzkamin, but Outer Wilds reminds me in the best sense (probably idealized) childhood experiences: the feeling of discovering something new at a ramble, finally on the top of the tallest tree Climbing in the woods or just getting to know something new that enhances your own horizons - I have that feeling in every corner of Outer Wilds.

Outsiders are making plans to rule the world, teachers terrorize their pupils, sports aces and rock 'n rollers try to impress the girls while the posh students wrinkle their nose.
