  1. Welcome to Bullworth Academy, a melting pot of high school stereotypes. Outsiders are making plans to rule the world, teachers terrorize their pupils, sports aces and rock 'n rollers try to impress the girls while the posh students wrinkle their nose. While the GTA-style game itself is well done, the technical conversion to the PC is a bit sloppy. Should you ever be asked why video games are a cultural asset, show them Bully.

This game isn’t just for gamers who were (or still are) playing truant – it’s an all-round enjoyable romp through satirical American high school-life, barring the many errors in portation from console to PC. [Issue#17]

While Rockstar keep adding features to their GTA clones, the team decided to cut back on key elements, put the action into the surprising high school setting and created an immensely playable game. [Dec 2008]

A great game, badly ported. [Christmas 2008, p.88]
  5. Bully offers a wide and open world in which you can roam freely. Ad some freaky characters and a one of a kind feel and you'll get bully. Too bad the game lost some of its powers over the last two years and that the overal look and gameplay of Bully feels a little outdated. If you've never played Bully you'll probably will have a blast, otherwise it's best to save some of that money for one of the other hundred or so titles that will be released this winter.

There's nothing new to see here and given the effort that Rockstar seems to have put into this title it seems that it knows it.

Bully's biggest problem is that it's a shoddy port job, rife with technical missteps that wouldn't warrant comment if they weren't so profoundly damaging to the game.

It is a wonderfull game from masters of GTA style games. It has bad controls but they are easy to redifine.

I wouldn't say this is better than GTA but it is a nice change. you will have to go to classes and play mini games which is interesting a bit. although if you fail to go to class you have to do chores...which gets boring fast. lots of the missions are kinda repetitive and only a few are fun to play. no guns and stealing cars, so you have to use more of your wit and basic weapons like slingshots and stealing bikes...overall story is decent, you go and change the school basically.
