There are moments when it's quite good, but it's also a bit too derivative, the enemies are as dumb as a box of hair, and it relies too much on the coolness of the magnet gun and the ability to knock down a tower with a hammer.

I suppose where Harvest Moon: Another Wonderful Life loses a couple points is in the innovation put into the game. There is just not enough different about this game over its very recent predecessor to recommend that the average gamer buy what is roughly the same game again.

TNT Racers is a great little racing title that feels like it's something out a Saturday Morning Cartoon thanks to its goofy tone, lush visuals, and over-the-top action. It's not perfect, but it'll provide you with an incredible amount of bang for your buck.

It's admirable that the guys who made Crackdown 2 have created a sequel every bit as good as the original. It's just a shame they don't have that insight into the genre at large. Because there's almost nothing in Crackdown 2 to recommend it over the competition. On the whole, I'd rather be in Panau.

But it's going to take a lot more than gimmicky motion controllers and Sega's negligence and to undermine the basic greatness of Virtua Tennis. More specific classes, skills, and specializations would have been nice. Matchmaking is sporadic at best, which stinks because the game is almost useless as a single player exercise. Mixing proven routines, tons of boxing/MMA moves, and a macho, no-nonsense look and feel, this has serious potential to upend EA Active for many.
